Bucovina este printre cele mai atractive si frecventate zone turistice de pe harta României. Nu intamplator de altfel, aceasta zona, vestita astazi in intreaga lume, a fost distinsa in anul 1975 cu premiul international “Pomme d’Or” de catre Federatia Internationala a Ziaristilor si Scriitorilor de Turism, iar multisecularele monumente de arhitectura cu fresce interioare si exterioare din acest colt de tara au fost trecute de UNESCO in lista monumentelor de arta universala.

Cetina
Cetina (pronounced [t͡sɛ̌tina]) is a river in southern Croatia. It has a length of 101 km (63 mi) and its basin covers an area of 1,463 km2 (565 sq mi). Cetina descends from an altitude of 385 m at its source to the sea level when it flows into the Adriatic Sea. It is the most water-rich river in Dalmatia.
Geography and geology
Cetina has its source in the northwestern slopes of Dinara. Rising from a spring at Milasevo near a small village called Cetina, located 7 km north from Vrlika, it flows a distance of 101 km to the Adriatic Sea. A large artificial lake begins near Vrlika, the Peruća Lake, which was created by a dam some 25 km downstream. Cetina then passes into the lower portion of the Sinj karst field, through the city of Sinj. After that it runs eastward, through the city of Trilj and then back westward around the Mosor mountain, before flowing into the Adriatic in the city of Omiš.
Apart from its visible basin, the Cetina also receives a lot of water from the west Bosnian karst field via underground routes. Its lower course begins from the Gubavica Falls (49 m a.s.l.) near the village of Zadvarje (20 km from Omiš). Here it leaves its canyon and flows into a valley which has nevertheless retained something of the appearance of a canyon.

Omis is a port town in the Dalmatia region of Croatia, approximately 25 kilometres south-east of Split. Famous for its wonderful pirate history the town is also popular for hiking and adventure sports such as canyoning, rock climbing and zip lining. But not all the activities in Omis are adrenaline fuelled. Kayaking or a boat trip up the Cetina river are also a nice way to enjoy the beautiful landscape. Join us on a rafting excursion on Cetina river! This is a fun and amazing activity that consists of both gentle and exciting float through the river. Take a glimpse of he untouched world of this protected area. Cetina river boasts with 104 km length and half of it flows through one of the most amazing canyons in Croatia. It is the longest river in Middle Dalmatia region.
We start our rafting adventure on a hidden river beach not far from Split city. Instructors will hold a safety briefing at the beach where you will learn the basics of using a paddle ang get all equipment. Once we are all in rafts, the expedition is ready to set off.
