1.. A group of eminent Sadat from the Tabasi family have visited the Eminent Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, in his honorable house in the holy city of Qom. His Eminence asked the guests to recite Sura al-Fatiha on the soul of the martyr Sayed Mohammad Redha Tabasi who lost his life after he embraced a suicide bomber trying to blow himself up on pilgrims in the holy city of Samarra. Major General Fahd bin Turki bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a senior commander of the General Staff of Saudi Arabia's Armed Forces, was killed during a mission in Northwestern Yemen, sources disclosed. The Saudi major general was killed, while he was on a mission in Al Majda village in Quatabir district of the Sadah governorate in Northwestern Yemen. The source added that two other senior officers accompanying General Fahd were also killed during the attack. The Saudi Defense Ministry on Sunday confirmed the clashes in Majda region. Saudi-backed Al-Qaeda militants and forces loyal to the fugitive Yemeni president Mansour Hadi are fighting the revolutionary and army forces across Yemen. The Saudi-led air campaign which is in its fourth week now has so far claimed the lives of 2,500 Yemenis, especially civilians. 4.. A mosque was on fire in Germany in the University of Witten, located in the district of North Rhine-Westphalia, according to German daily DerWesten. The daily reported that an identified man was filmed from inside the mosque entering the mosque and pouring a gasoline can in the prayer room. There were four families with children living in the building, but fortunately, the fire was extinguished. One of those living in the mosque, Veysel Arslan discovered that the smoke had filled the praying room as he woke up to Morning Prayer. The police seized the crime scene and experts are examining the burn marks. 6.. A new report by Amnesty International details the rampant abuses including torture, arbitrary detentions and excessive use of force against peaceful activists and government critics, which continue to take place in Bahrain four years after the uprisings that rocked the kingdom in 2011. British Muslim boxing champ Amir Khan has called on British Muslims to stand against extremism.
