Ahmir is a group of four male R&B/pop singers who are based out of Boston, MA. Ahmir is mainly known for their YouTube channel, with over eighty million views, they are one of the most viewed R&B groups on YouTube. The band was originally named One Love, but changed to Ahmir (Arabic for "prince") for copyright issues.

History

Sing-Sing attended Berklee College of Music when he joined the group in Boston. Big Mike started by being in the Boys Choir in Harlem, and then continued his career at Boston University, majoring in music. KC and Mr. Jones grew their raw talent through training in church choirs. The group released their first hit single in 2006 entitled "Welcome To My Party". The song peaked at #82 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The group performed on the second season of NBC's America's Got Talent. They were signed to Robbins Entertainment RED/Sony Music. In 2013, the group performed on Jimmy Fallon

Ed Sheeran

Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He was born in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk. After dropping out of school at 16, he moved to London the following year, in 2008, to pursue a career in music. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project, which caught the attention of Elton John and Jamie Foxx. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (read as "plus"), was released on 9 September 2011 and has since been certified six-times platinum in the UK. The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.

Sheeran's popularity abroad began in 2012. In the US, he made a guest appearance on Taylor Swift's fourth studio album, Red. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John. He spent much of 2013 opening for Swift's The Red Tour in North America dates. In late 2013, he performed three sold-out shows at New York's Madison Square Garden as a headline act. He was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

Lana Lane

Lana Lane is a North American rock singer. She sings lead in her eponymous band, and has sung backing vocals for the band Rocket Scientists and guest sung on Ayreon and Erik Norlander albums.

She is married to music producer Erik Norlander, who co-produces her albums with her at their own studio, Think Tank Media in Woodland Hills, California.

Her first album Love is an Illusion was released in 1995 and obtained a fair amount of success in Japan, as did Curious Goods – her second album, from 1996.

Lady Macbeth is a collection of songs based on William Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth, from Lady MacBeth's point of view.

Lana Lane appeared as a guest vocalist on two Ayreon CDs, Universal Migrator Part 1: The Dream Sequencer and Universal Migrator Part 2: Flight of the Migrator, singing lead and harmony vocals. She also provided the computer voice for both albums.

In 2003 Lana sang the part of Queen Guinevere on the concept album Once and Future King Part I by Gary Hughes.

In 2009 Lana sang the primary vocals on Terra Incognita, an album composed by husband Erik Norlander in collaboration with science-fiction writer and lyricist Kevin J. Anderson.
