Being in a sales job is probably one of the most difficult things in the world, unless you know your product and you know how to effectively communicate with customers. There are milliards of sales jobs out there including telesales, one on one sales and team leader of sales. Sales departments are found in all businesses as it is the one main department responsible for bringing in the money. Sales people are usually very mobile as well, driving around to see clients on a daily basis. South Africa as a whole is very reliant on sales in all industries in order to ensure a healthy economy.

Responsibilities & Skills

Sales people are responsible for looking out for the interests of a company's existing client database as well as sourcing new prospects. In addition to this sales people have to:
- Be able to market all the company's products and services effectively
- Ensure that customers get exactly what they sign up for. This means ensuring that orders are processed correctly and on time.
- Be present at all company product launches in order to network with potential customers

Required Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in marketing
• Minimum of 3 years experience within a sales environment
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Computer literate
