Responsibilities & Skills

General responsibilities and skills within the hospitality and catering industry include:
- Overseeing the daily activities within the hotel/guesthouse etc. This includes everything from the kitchen to the administration department
- Reporting on all discrepancies found during stock taking and developing effective methods in order to prevent future discrepancies
- Keeping customer service at the forefront of all activities
- Ensuring that customers are booked in and out efficiently and on time
- Setting targets and working towards them continuously

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant hotel qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years experience within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
