Alabama Music Office.com goes to the Forum Theater in downtown Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday, November 09, 2016 to attend the Nashville Bound Reunion Show. Alabama music’s future was showcased with talent from Laurel Taylor Taunton & Band, Hollye Horton, Halle Nolan, Brinkley Rackstraw, Sadie McClendon, Kailey Hobin, Will Haynes,Kensey Brooke, Lauren Jolly, Anna Claire Jamison, Charity Bowden, Jessa Cherones, Two Halo’s Shy (Madibeth Morgan & Anna Tambrello), Sweet Tea Trio (Savannah Coker, Kate Falcon & Victoria Camp) and Jason Capps. (This video is unedited) Nashville Bound, An Academy of Music, Inc. is a music educational opportunity to learn the music business from the inside out as a performer and business professional. Steve Pennington started a new program in January 2013 called "NASHVILLE BOUND: An Academy of Country Music" The groups waa select group of nine youth who want to work professionally in the music biz at some point. It will include monthly showcases, some with live bands, Trips to Nashville, backstage at The Opry visits, performances on Broadway in Nashville at the end of each semester as well as full artist development and stage presence tips and song writing consultation, imaging, Nashville Number Music Theory, Live performances. Would you be interested in auditioning? The solo musican in many cases has to be performer, agent, marketing person, stylist, socail media consultant, producer, manager and more! Though the study of music and music performance seems to be the main focus, because it is the most visible part of Nashville  Bound.  The study of voice, song writing, instrumental competency and charting is all part of the course of study with the students. The funding raised here will be to cover the tuition for the young performers who enroll in the program.  The goal amount of $18,500 will pay for ten students to participate tuition Free for the nine month course of study(January - Sept. 2017). The end of this calendar year of 2016 is when we need to have the funding in place to begin the Academy in January of 2017. Nashville Bound IS a 501c3 Corporation founded in the state of Alabama. This allows for tax deductible contributions to be made to the Academy and quality for a tax deduction in  tax year 2016. Your contributions will help many students who otherwise would not be able to pay the annual tuition to participate. Some of the families do have the ability to pay the $1850 tuition which pays for all the instructors from Nashville and Birmingham music communities who teach the classes during the year. Your contributions will be so appreciated as the course of study will be a life lesson that many of the previous students are already using to make a good living as a performing artist around the country!
