You should try the Knirps X1 umbrella. I use a very small bag (Tom Bihn CoPilot) when I travel with just an iPad and this umbrella is small enough to fit comfortably in the vertical centre pocket - that's the width of an iPad. It's also very light (carbon struts, aluminium construction) and is made of fabric that dries quickly.

Has anyone tried the new Arc'Teryx duffels? I'm headed to Europe this summer and am thinking about buying a couple of these for the trip! I have the Arc'Teryx Bora 90 backpack that I used for backpacking around Europe 8 years ago, but am hoping to switch to the duffel bag now for it's ease of use and the ability to wear it as a backpack as an option.

A few years back I lost a little over 50 lb. in response to health issues. What made dieting tolerable was doing it in weight losses of about 10 to 15 lb. at a time, with breaks of maintaining a weight level while enjoying good food for while, and then resuming dieting. To maintain that weight loss, it takes biking and weight lifting, and eating mostly lean healthy food, but with a little junk food as long as the amount of junk food is in moderation.

I don't think every school needs to have a computer for everything. The kids do all their work from technology. No one seems to have to remember numbers anymore, or do calculations in their head, computers do all the work for them..
