SchoolFreeware Science Video 7 - Flowers Of A Different Color - Transpiration Xylem Capillary Action
The color of the white flower can be changed. Fresh cut white flowers, a glass or cup, and food coloring are needed. Carnations are good to use. The carnations were bought at 79 cents a flower. This glass cylinder contains one cup of water with about 20 ñ 25 drops of green food coloring. The stem of the is cut and the carnation is placed in the water. The reason why the flower is cut make sure that any damaged xylem is removed. The xylem is the part of the flower that will distribute the water to the rest of the plant. The process of the flowers changing color may take up to 24 hours.- published: 29 Sep 2013

Vargo Stainless Steel "Bot" - Bottle Pot - Capillary Action Stove (CAS#2)
On one of my videos on the Vargo Stainless Steel "Bot" ThreeHouse commented, "... I wanted to ask what you think about using Vargo Bot to Vargo Triad stove? Do you think it will be stable enough full of water? Do you have any other tips on an alcohol stove in the same weight class that might be be stable enough? ... Charlies from Three House, Sweden?" I'll show in this video that the Vargo Stainless Steel "Bot" and the Vargo Triad Titanium Alcohol Stove makes for a VERY unstable combination. I'll also do a boil test using the Capillary Action Stove (CAS#2) with the Vargo Stainless Steel "Bot". This conbination is very stable and when you compare the weights of the Vargo Triad Titanium Alcohol Stove with the CAS#2 the CAS#2 is much lighter, and cheaper. Weight of the Vargo Triad Titanium Alcohol Stove: Cost of the Vargo Triad Titanium Alcohol Stove(on eBay): around $30 Weight of the Capillary Action Stove (CAS#2): Cost of the Capillary Action Stove (CAS#2): free - made from re-cycled soda cans Use the following link to my video, "Capillary Action Stove - Boil Test #1": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1BJOJKoUTs Use the following link to my video, "Capillary Action Stove (CAS#2) - Boil Test #1": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3De0uChTdNA The Capillary Action Stove is nothing new.
