Vaucouleurs
Vaucouleurs is a commune in the Meuse department of France, located approximately 300 km (190 mi) from Paris.
Joan of Arc stayed in Vaucouleurs for several months during 1428 and 1429 while she sought permission to visit the royal court of Charles VII of France.

Vaucouleurs (river)
The Vaucouleurs is a small river in the Île-de-France and Centre regions of northern France. The name "Vaucouleurs" means "colorful valley."
Geography
The Vaucouleurs is a tributary of the Seine river. It traverses one departments, the Yvelines. The narrow waterway stretches for 22 kilometres (14 mi) before emptying into the Seine.
