John Iadarola (https://twitter.com/jiadarola) and Ana Kasparian (http://www.twitter.com/AnaKasparian) hosts of The Young Turks and guest Abby Martin (https://twitter.com/abbymartin) discuss a Florida mailman landing a gyroplane on the Capitol lawn in Washington D.C. and what his reasoning may have been. "Crazy crackpot? Terrorist? No, it turns out that Doug Hughes, a mailman from Florida, had no more nefarious plan for landing an autogyro (also known as a Gyroplane or Gyrocopter) on the lawn of the Capitol building then delivering the mail. The mail in question was two boxes full of letters from Hughes addressed to each member of Congress asking them to get money out of politics and to represent the people they were sworn to protect rather than Corporate and special interest groups. Hughes landed on the lawn of the Capitol building, violating a federal no fly zone, after he made sure that all of the authorities had been contacted to insure that they would understand that this was not a terrorist attack. Hughes was immediately taken into custody by Capitol Police once he landed. He is currently under investigation by the FAA." Should more people protest Congress taking money from special interest groups and corporations? Let us know what you think in the comments section below. Cenk Uygur (http://www.twitter.com/cenkuygur) host of The Young Turks discusses a deal being moved through the Senate that might allow Congress to vote to approve or disapprove the Iran Nuclear Deal the Obama Administration has set to be signed at the end of June, 2015. "In a bold move by Senators on the Foreign Relations Committee it seems that there is a deal in place in the Senate that would allow a vote in favor of giving Congress the ability to approve or kill the Nuclear Deal with Iran that would limit the Middle Eastern country's ability to manufacture enriched materials for the purpose of creating a nuclear weapon. The move is being spear headed by Republican Tennessee Senator Bob Corker, the panel's chairman, who claims that this allows the process of government to maintain its integrity. If approved the bill would cripple the Obama Administration from lifting sanctions on Iran without the express approval of Congress." Does this make America any safer?
