http://www.primehow.com/LearnArabic What Did I Get With The Rocket Arabic Course? The main part of the learning process are the 11 hours worth of interactive audio. What I liked about these were that they are broken down into 20 minute lessons which makes them quick and easy to learn. You can do the lessons online in the members area or you can download them to your computer. Personally, I downloaded a few at a time to my ipod so I could do the lessons while i was on the move. The course also includes software that tests your memory in Arabic and also uses interactive grammar lessons. Being able to learn at my own pace was a major plus for me and because the Rocket Arabic course teaches you so quickly you find it hard to actually stop the lessons for a break. I learnt more Arabic in the first hour than I had in the 2 lessons I had done at night school, it really is amazing how quickly it teaches you. In fact, the Rocket Arabic course is so successful at speed teaching that it comes with a full 8 week money back guarantee. If I had continued at night school, I was looking at a time scale of 24 weeks to reach a decent level and a total cost of $900. By doing the Rocket Arabic course I was holding full blown conversations with Latin American folk in just 8 weeks and was able to bring my travel plans forward by a whole year. Best of all, the cost was less than $100. http://www.primehow.com/LearnArabic

Enas and Abir from Jordan are participants of the intercultural internship program "Youth in Dialogue" hosted by The Global Experience. During their time in Germany they also produced this video that should help anyone travelling to Arabic speaking countries or being in conversation with Arabic speaking people to learn the most common phrases to be used. Easy Languages is a non-profit video project aiming at supporting people worldwide to learn languages through authentic street interviews. We also use this format to expose our street culture abroad and create a more diverse image of our countries. Episodes are produced in local languages and contain subtitles in both the original language as well as in English. This video is quite popular so we took the same list of sentences and asked people of Enschede to tell them for us again: SUPPORT OUR PROJECT: http://www.easy-languages.org/support-easy-languages/ More information at http://www.easy-languages.org/ http://www.facebook.com/easylanguagestreetinterviews Easy Languages is produced by the intercultural youth media network The Global Experience: http://www.theglobalexperience.org http://www.facebook.com/theglobalexperience Host of this episode: Enas Eldabbas Camera and editing: Abir Maijri, Janusz Hamerski

The First Arabic Language School Coming To Texas GO WATCH THE VIDEO! Schools in Mansfield, Texas are FORCING students to take FEDERALLY MANDATED Arabic language and Muslim culture classes! GO READ ARTICLE: http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-Texas/2014/11/16/Arabic-Immersion-School-Coming-to-Texas The Houston Independent School District (ISD) will be adding its first Arabic Language Immersion Magnet School in Fall 2015. The district's Board of Education voted unanimously to approve plans for the new specialty public school campus at its November 13 meeting. In response to the vote, Houston ISD Superintendent Dr. Terry Griersaid in a district news release, "Houston is one of the world's leading energy capitals and it has strong economic ties to the Middle East." He added, "Those factors combine to create a significant demand in our city for Arabic language fluency -- and we want to meet that demand." The new Arabic language-immersion magnet will have two pre-kindergarten and two kindergarten classes "that focus on Modern Standard Arabic," KPRC-2 Houston reported. The district told the news outlet it intended to add a new grade level each year as students move up to the fifth grade. Arabic is the second most common foreign language spoken at home in the school district, according to KPRC-2. I thought America taught English to our students. America is changing quickly! Parents will have to home school their children if not already. It will not be safe to send them to school. The home of the free is no longer free. We are tearing down the American flag, prayer is not allowed at football games or the pledge of allegiance. They have taken out UNDER GOD in the pledge because some atheists got offended. It is God who protects America! But God is no longer found in America. It saddens my heart because we are a nation of disgrace that is worshipping false Gods-“Allah” and ‘Islam” is the new language. AMERICA IS IN TROUBLE! Our president is a Muslim who is Anti-American! Pray dear saints like never before because this is serious! America is about to collapse. The American people voted for their Muslim President and have no one to blame because now God is going to humble America. He has been allowing the President of the United States to have his way and pass all kinds of laws that are ungodly and will hurt our nation. This is what happens to a nation that forgets God as their head. Instead they want to serve other gods. Obama is America’s false god, DESTRUCTION TO AMERICA! Fresno Bee 2015-04-13Arabic (العربية al-ʻarabīyah or عربي/عربى ʿarabī) is a name applied to the descendants of the Classical Arabic language of the 6th century CE. This includes both the literary language (Modern Standard Arabic or Literary Arabic, used in most written documents as well as in formal spoken occasions, such as lectures and radio broadcasts) and the spoken Arabic varieties, spoken in a wide arc of territory stretching across the Middle East and North Africa. Arabic is a Central Semitic language, most closely related to Hebrew, Aramaic, Ugaritic and Phoenician. Written Arabic is distinct from and more conservative than all of the spoken varieties, and the two exist in a state known as diglossia, used side-by-side for different societal functions.
Some of the spoken varieties are mutually unintelligible, and the varieties as a whole constitute a sociolinguistic language. This means that on purely linguistic grounds they would likely be considered to constitute more than one language, but are commonly grouped together as a single language for political and/or ethnic reasons. If considered multiple languages, it is unclear how many languages there would be, as the spoken varieties form a dialect chain with no clear boundaries. If Arabic is considered a single language, it counts more than 300 million first language speakers (according to some estimates, as high as 340 million), more than that of any other Semitic language. If considered separate languages, the most-spoken variety would most likely be Egyptian Arabic, with more than 50 million native speakers — still greater than any other Semitic language.
Hamza Yusuf Hanson is an American Islamic scholar, and (with Zaid Shakir and Hatem Bazian) is co-founder of Zaytuna College in Berkeley, California, United States. He is a convert to Islam, and is one of the signatories of A Common Word Between Us and You, an open letter by Islamic scholars to Christian leaders, calling for peace and understanding. He has described the 9/11 attacks as "an act of 'mass murder, pure and simple'". Condemning the attacks, he has also stated "Islam was hijacked ... on that plane as an innocent victim".The Guardian newspaper in the United Kingdom reported that he "is arguably the west's most influential Islamic scholar" and added that "many Muslims find his views hard to stomach."
Hamza Yusuf was born to two academics in Washington State and raised in Northern California. In 1977, he became Muslim and subsequently traveled to the Muslim world and studied for ten years in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, as well as North and West Africa. Hamza Yusuf spent four years studying in the United Arab Emirates and elsewhere in the Middle East. Later he traveled to West Africa and studied in Mauritania, Medina, Algeria, and Morocco under such scholars as Murabit al Haaj; Baya bin Salik, head of the Islamic court in Al-'Ain, United Arab Emirates; Muhammad Shaybani, Mufti of Abu Dhabi; Hamad al-Wali; and Muhammad al-Fatrati of Al Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt.[citation needed] After more than a decade abroad, he returned to the United States and earned degrees in nursing from Imperial Valley College and religious studies at San José State University.[citation needed]
