Hermes ( /ˈhɜrmiːz/; Greek : Ἑρμῆς) An Olympian god in Greek religion and mythology, Hermes was the son of Zeus and the Pleiade, Maia, a daughter of the Titan, Atlas. The second youngest of the Olympian gods, he was born before Dionysus.
His symbols include the rooster and the tortoise, his purse or pouch, winged sandals, winged cap, and held in his left hand, the herald's staff, the Greek kerykeion or Latin caduceus.
Hermes was the herald, or messenger, of the gods to humans, sharing this role with Iris. A patron of boundaries and the travelers who cross them, he was the protector of shepherds and cowherds, thieves, orators and wit, literature and poets, athletics and sports, weights and measures, invention, and of commerce in general.
In the Roman adaptation of the Greek pantheon (see interpretatio romana), Hermes was identified with the Roman god Mercury, who, though inherited from the Etruscans, developed many similar characteristics, such as being the patron of commerce.[citation needed]

Plot
Hephaestus, a young god, is cast from Mount Olympus after losing a dance battle to his father Zeus - the king of the universe. Before his exile, Hephaestus managed to steal a record from the king - a mysterious vinyl with powers unheard-of. Vowing never to return to the heavens, Hephaestus constructs the beautiful Ladybot - our bad-ass automaton heroine. When he gives the record to his magical iron bride, they build a home to rival Olympus in the broken slums of Earth. But to defy Zeus is to feel his wrath... A post-modern weave of Hip Hop and Greek Mythology, Vocabulary of the Mysteries is an anthem for all those who want what they know they can't have.
Plot
The fallen angel Azazel(Raw Leiba) has come to Earth at the behest of the Winter Faerie Queen(Debbie Rochon), and formed an alliance with the Greek god Hermes(Christopher Jason Bolton). Together they seek to resurrect Azazel's demigod children, the Nephilim, whose existence would destroy the world. A second fallen angel, Shemihazya(Sean-Michael Argo), has been summoned by the Summer Faerie Queen(Fiona Horne) to oppose the raising of the Nephilim. He aligns himself with the Greek goddess Hecate(Bekah Kelso), forcing her to help him in his quest by possessing the body of her lover. The Gods and Angels battle across modern city streets and the pristine forests of the spirit world, their struggle set against the backdrop of a civil war between the Queens of Faerie, as the forces of Winter seek to dominate the people of Summer.

Plot
When a particularly sissy Caesar orders his general Rhinus to proceed with the conquest of Britain, which is just a mosaic of inter-warring Celtic tribes related to the Gauls he already subjugated, those send Marcosivellauniviromandiboule (aka Young Gaul) to the Dubonni, a measly tribe where three sisters play a leading role, and therefore see the messenger foremost as an ideal catch for the unmarried youngest; his bed-test goes great, while a Roman attack on the rivaling neighbor Kent tribe is welcomed without any strategic foresight. Nevertheless the Roman war machine rolls on, so war must be engaged, however again in their, female-shaped way.
