Old heroes never die. They just get darker.
The last fight begins.
Mutant Leader: We will kill the old man, Gordon. We will chop him, we will grind him. We will bathe in his blood. I, myself, will kill the fool Batman. I will rip the meat from his bones and suck them dry. Don't call us a gang. Don't call us criminals. We are the law. Gotham City belongs to the Mutants.
Rookie Cop: You're under arrest, mister. You just crippled that man.::Batman: He's young. He'll walk again.::Batman: [to Femur] But you'll stay scared, won't you, punk?
Veteran Cop: Damn, that sucker can move.::Rookie Cop: What the hell is that?::Veteran Cop: Can't exactly look right now, kid.::Rookie Cop: Up there. Freaking weird.::Veteran Cop: You gonna tell me or - Holy...::Rookie Cop: You're slowing down?::Veteran Cop: Yeah. We're in for a show, kid.
Commissioner Gordon: That was some stunt you pulled at the racetrack.::Bruce Wayne: Keeps the blood flowing.::Commissioner Gordon: So long as most of it stays inside you.::Bruce Wayne: Worried about me?::Commissioner Gordon: Let's just say I'm glad you survived Batman's retirement and I was hoping you'd keep it that way.
Batman: You try to hold me back, but you're weak. You know it in your soul. You're nothing but a hollow shell. A rusty trap. The time has come.
Alfred Pennyworth: If it's suicide you're after, I have an old family recipe. It's slow and painful. You'd like it.
Harvey Dent: Cut it out. Just look at me and have your laugh. Get it over with. At least both sides match now, right? Look at me and have your laugh. Who are we kidding? They couldn't fix me. Nothing can change what I am.::Batman: You and me both.
Mutant Leader: That a tickle?::Batman: That was a nerve bundle in your deltoid. Might not hurt, but you won't be moving that arm for a while.
Mutant Leader: [picks up Batman out of mud] You finished, old man.::Batman: [headbutts Mutant Leader in broken nose] You don't get it, son. This isn't a mud hole. It's an operating table. And I'm the surgeon.
[last lines]::Joker: Buh-buh... Ba-Batman... Darling!
Be Mine.

The femur (pl. femurs or femora), or thigh bone, is the most proximal (closest to the center of the body) bone of the leg in tetrapod vertebrates capable of walking or jumping, such as most land mammals, birds, many reptiles such as lizards, and amphibians such as frogs. In vertebrates with four legs such as dogs and horses, the femur is found only in the rear legs. The femur is the largest bone in the human body. The head of the femur articulates with the acetabulum. By most measures the femur is one of the strongest bones in the body.
In primitive tetrapods, the main points of muscle attachment along the femur are the internal trochanter and fourth trochanter, and a ridge along the ventral surface of the femoral shaft referred to as the adductor crest. The neck of the femur is generally minimal or absent in the most primitive forms, reflecting a simple attachment to the acetabulum. The greater trochanter was present in the extinct archosaurs, as well as in modern birds and mammals, being associated with the loss of the primitive sprawling gait. The lesser trochanter is a unique development of mammals, which lack both the internal and fourth trochanters. The adductor crest is also often absent in mammals or alternatively reduced to a series of creases along the surface of the bone.
Taylor William Fedun (born June 4, 1988) is a Ukrainian-Canadian ice hockey defencemen who is currently assigned to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League, farm team of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League.
Following his 2010-11 standout season playing Division I hockey with the Princeton Tigers, Fedun was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Edmonton Oilers.
Fedun impressed the Oilers at the 2011 Young Stars Tournament in Penticton, British Columbia, and continued to impress throughout the Oilers' pre-season games, remaining on the roster after other young high performers, such as Tyler Pitlick and Curtis Hamilton, have been sent to the Oilers' AHL farm team, the Oklahoma City Barons.
When the Oilers' roster sat at 32 players, with 9 more needing to be cut before the team's final roster was made, Fedun was tripped by the Minnesota Wild's forward, Eric Nystrom, and fractured his femur during a preseason game while attempting to retrieve the puck and force an icing. This is the second time the NHL's icing policy has led to a fractured femur in the post-lockout era, with the last injury occurring to former Wild defenseman Kurtis Foster in 2007. Fedun suffered a complex fracture to his right femur, ending his 2011 drive to make the Oiler's roster opening night and his season. On October 7, 2011, Fedun returned to Edmonton after being in the hospital for only one week. He is able to be on his feet with a walker.
There is coldness to explosions.
We got to see her bones.
I had hoped that we were better than that,
that we were connected enough that it would hurt us into giving a fuck.
You shut the fuck up.
You should have known that roses are my favorite flower.
You shut the fuck up.
You should have known that flowers are my favorite color.
You should have...
