STORYLINE:
The leader of an Iranian militant group that was taken off the US terror list on Friday said the move will change her group's "balance of power" with the world - predicting a higher profile in politics, fundraising and diplomacy as well as increased anti-regime activity in Iran.
The US State Department said the People's Mujahedeen of Iran (MEK) has not committed terror for more than a decade.
The decision means that effective immediately, any assets the group has in the United States are unblocked and Americans are permitted to do business with the organisation.
Maryam Rajavi, the Paris-based head of the exiled opposition group, said in an interview that she hopes the organisation can now have the ear of the world's diplomats to help bolster its bid to overthrow Iran's clerical regime.
She stressed that its goal was to replace the Islamic Republic with a democratic government.
"I'm sure that after that (the de-listing), our energy, the energy and potential of the Iranian people and the Iranian resistance (will) focus on (our) main objective. It means the overthrow of the Mullahs' regime and for regime change in Iran, especially for a democratic change in Iran and a free and democratic Iran for future," Rajavi said.
She praised the "courageous" decision made by US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to de-list the group.
A court order had given Clinton until 1 October to act.
The group was removed from the European Union's terrorist list in 2009.
Rajavi denied claims by critics that MEK has all the earmarks of a cult, blaming Iran for such allegations.
The Iranian regime is likely to be furious at the US decision to de-list MEK, for years the only armed exile opposition group.

Refutation of the Rafidi priest "Ayatollah" Kamal Al-Haidari who "responded" to the call of the Sunnah Shaykhs

People's Mujahedin of Iran
The People's Mojahedin of Iran or the Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK, also PMOI, MKO; Persian: سازمان مجاهدين خلق ايران Sāzmān-e mojāhedin-e khalq-e irān) is an Iranian opposition movement in exile that advocates the overthrow of the Islamic Republic of Iran.Massoud Rajavi is the Secretary-General of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran.
It was founded on September 5, 1965 by a group of left-leaning Muslim Iranian university students, as a Muslim, progressive, nationalist and democratic organization, who were devoted to armed struggle against the Shah of Iran and his supporters. The PMOI played an active role in the protests within Iran that ultimately led to the downfall of the Shah in 1979. Consequently, the PMOI came into conflict with the succeeding fundamentalist regime of the Ayatollah Khomeini In the immediate aftermath of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the MEK was suppressed by Khomeini's revolutionary organizations and harassed by the Hezbollahi, who attacked meeting places, bookstores, and kiosks of the Mujahideen. Toward the end of 1981, several PMOI members and supporters went into exile. Their principal refuge was in France.

Maryam Rajavi
Maryam Rajavi (born Maryam Azodanlu on 4 December 1953, in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian politician who is President elect of National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) since 1993. She is the wife of Massoud Rajavi, founder of the People's Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI). Her organization is supported primarily among the exiled Iranian communities in Europe and numerous American political officials such as former New York City Mayor and Presidential Contender Rudy Giuliani.
Early life and education
Rajavi was raised in Tehran as the daughter of a middle-class civil servant descended from a member of the Qajar dynasty. She attended the Sharif University of Technology in Iran, earning a B.S. in Metallurgy.
Political career
Rajavi has stated that her political activism started when she was twenty-two after her sister Narges's killing by Shah Muhammad Reza's secret police. Then she became a member of the People's Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK), "an Iranian organization founded in 1965 by a small group of intellectuals led by Muhammad Hanifnejad."

(Usool Kaafi, Page No. 420) All the people rejected Islam after the death of the Prophet except three. Miqdad, Abu Zar and Salman Farsi. (Quran Majeed by Maqbool Hussain Dehlevi, Page No. 134) The Munafiqeen (i.e. Sahaba) took very much out of Quran (took out the verses)." The leader of an Iranian militant group that was taken off the US terror list on Friday said the move will change her group's "balance of power" with the world - predicting a higher profile in politics, fundraising and diplomacy as well as increased anti-regime activity in Iran.
The US State Department said the People's Mujahedeen of Iran (MEK) has not committed terror for more than a decade.
The decision means that effective immediately, any assets the group has in the United States are unblocked and Americans are permitted to do business with the organisation.
Maryam Rajavi, the Paris-based head of the exiled opposition group, said in an interview that she hopes the organisation can now have the ear of the world's diplomats to help bolster its bid to overthrow Iran's clerical regime.
She stressed that its goal was to replace the Islamic Republic with a democratic government.
"I'm sure that after that (the de-listing), our energy, the energy and potential of the Iranian people and the Iranian resistance (will) focus on (our) main objective. It means the overthrow of the Mullahs' regime and for regime change in Iran, especially for a democratic change in Iran and a free and democratic Iran for future," Rajavi said.
She praised the "courageous" decision made by US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to de-list the group.
A court order had given Clinton until 1 October to act.
The group was removed from the European Union's terrorist list in 2009.
Rajavi denied claims by critics that MEK has all the earmarks of a cult, blaming Iran for such allegations.
The Iranian regime is likely to be furious at the US decision to de-list MEK, for years the only armed exile opposition group.

STORYLINE:
The leader of an Iranian militant group that was taken off the US terror list on Friday said the move will change her group's "balance of power" with the world - predicting a higher profile in politics, fundraising and diplomacy as well as increased anti-regime activity in Iran.
The US State Department said the People's Mujahedeen of Iran (MEK) has not committed terror for more than a decade.
The decision means that effective immediately, any assets the group has in the United States are unblocked and Americans are permitted to do business with the organisation.
Maryam Rajavi, the Paris-based head of the exiled opposition group, said in an interview that she hopes the organisation can now have the ear of the world's diplomats to help bolster its bid to overthrow Iran's clerical regime.
She stressed that its goal was to replace the Islamic Republic with a democratic government.
"I'm sure that after that (the de-listing), our energy, the energy and potential of the Iranian people and the Iranian resistance (will) focus on (our) main objective. It means the overthrow of the Mullahs' regime and for regime change in Iran, especially for a democratic change in Iran and a free and democratic Iran for future," Rajavi said.
She praised the "courageous" decision made by US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to de-list the group.
A court order had given Clinton until 1 October to act.
The group was removed from the European Union's terrorist list in 2009.
Rajavi denied claims by critics that MEK has all the earmarks of a cult, blaming Iran for such allegations.
The Iranian regime is likely to be furious at the US decision to de-list MEK, for years the only armed exile opposition group.

The decision means that effective immediately, any assets the group has in the United States are unblocked and Americans are permitted to do business with the organisation.
Maryam Rajavi, the Paris-based head of the exiled opposition group, said in an interview that she hopes the organisation can now have the ear of the world's diplomats to help bolster its bid to overthrow Iran's clerical regime.
She stressed that its goal was to replace the Islamic Republic with a democratic government.
"I'm sure that after that (the de-listing), our energy, the energy and potential of the Iranian people and the Iranian resistance (will) focus on (our) main objective. It means the overthrow of the Mullahs' regime and for regime change in Iran, especially for a democratic change in Iran and a free and democratic Iran for future," Rajavi said.
She praised the "courageous" decision made by US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to de-list the group.
A court order had given Clinton until 1 October to act.
The group was removed from the European Union's terrorist list in 2009.
Rajavi denied claims by critics that MEK has all the earmarks of a cult, blaming Iran for such allegations.
The Iranian regime is likely to be furious at the US decision to de-list MEK, for years the only armed exile opposition group.

Centuries ago, Dunia, a princess of the jinn, fell in love with a mortal man of reason. Together they produced an astonishing number of children, unaware of their fantastical powers, who spread across generations in the human world.
Now the line between worlds has been breached. Dunia’s children and others will play a role in an epic war between light and dark spanning a thousand and one nights—or two years, eight months, and twenty-eight nights. It is a time of enormous upheaval, in which beliefs are challenged, words act like poison, silence is a disease, and a noise may contain a hidden curse.
Inspired by the traditional “wonder tales” of the East, Salman Rushdie’s novel is a masterpiece about the age-old conflicts that remain in today’s world. In light of the recent resurgence of measles and rubella cases in Karnataka, the Government undertook a massive drive to immunize all children from ages 9 months to 15 years. This Measles Rubella vaccination drive conducted in Karnataka from 7th February to 8th March 2017, required participation from various stakeholders. Schools were an important channel for delivery of the vaccine. This panel discussion highlights some of the the concerns, problems and reactions of schools and parents with respect to the campaign. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Anand Lakshman, CEO of AddressHealth who encouraged views from schools, government health officials, parents and the general public to make this a lively discussion. He was picked in Round 6. The Jets reported to training camp Friday, and they will hold their first practice Saturday. On Friday, they placed rookie cornerback Jeremy Clark on the active/non-football injury list. No other players will begin camp on the NFI or physically unable to perform lists, which is a good sign for the Jets as camp practices start. The Jets drafted Clark in Round 6 out of Michigan ...
