'An Islamic View Of the Christian WORLD' By Shaikh Imran Hosein. This lecture restricts itself to establishing the foundation from the Qur'an for friendly ties between Muslims and Orthodox Christians in particular, but does not as yet address the subject of an alliance that is divinely-ordained. That will be addressed in the second recording Insha Allah. This recording also offers a view concerning a Christian response to usury and to bogus paper money which can instantaneously electrify the entire world of Islam in a manner that would cause eternal dismay to our mutual enemies, and would significantly advance the cause of an alliance between Islam and RUM.

Presumptuous sins are willful sins, sins of taking to ourselves authority that is not our own, sins that take advantage of our pride. Historically, groups and individuals have taken liberties and "over-stepped their bounds" in establishing forms of worship not set out in scripture. Are we guilty of this kind of arrogance, relying on our own intellectual reasoning, instead of carefully following God's instructions. Are the observance of Sunday and Easter presumptuous sins?
As we approach Passover, we have the biblical admonition to examine ourselves, looking into that mirror of God's instructions and reflecting on our lives over the past year. King David understood this essential aspect of spiritual growth and he asked God to cleanse him of presumptuous sins. Jeff Patton takes a closer look at the nature of presumptuous sins and how we can recognize them and eliminate them from our lives. There is a great reward for following God's instructions in this matter.

Most churches in America and throughout western society are focused on an all-inclusive style of preaching. They promote a "wide gate" concept that tells people how easy it is to be a Christian. In this video, we explore the concept and take a look through the perspective of Matthew 7:13-14. 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. It isn't hard to find faith through belief in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, but it does require attention to a life that is dedicated to Him. http://judeochristianchurch.com
For around 8 decades, the Big Bang Theory has been the accepted model for the scientific origins of the universe. A recent study shows that the model may be incorrect. For Christians, science in general and physics in particular have shown to be great proofs of Creation or concepts that challenge their faith, depending on their perspective. For the secular world, science is often pointed to in order to discredit the Bible. The truth is that the Bible and science are not separate. The conclusion of the research can be different, but the data as well as the comprehension of the facts can all be reconciled in either direction. It all depends on presuppositions.

CounterPunch 2015-04-10Judeo-Christian (also Abrahamism) is a term used in a historical sense to refer to the connections between the precursors of Christianity and Rabbinic Judaism in the Second Temple period.
The earliest use of the term "Judeo-Christian" in the historical sense dates to 1829 in the missionary journal of Joseph Wolff, and before that as "Judeo Christian" in a letter from Alexander M'Caul dated October 17, 1821. The former appears in discussions of theories of the emergence of Christianity, and both are used with a different sense from the one common today. "Judeo-Christian" here referred to Jewish converts to Christianity.
The term "Jewish-Christian" had been used in this sense as early as 1785 in Richard Watson's essay "The Teaching and Witness of the Holy Spirit", and "Jewish Christian" (as an adjective) as early as 1644 in William Rathband's A Briefe Narration of Some Church Courses. "Jewish–Christian" is used in 1841 to mean a combination of Jewish and Christian beliefs, and by 1877 to mean a common Jewish–Christian culture, used in the phrase "the Jewish–Christian character of…traditions".
Ahmed Hoosen Deedat (Arabic: احمد حسين ديدات; 1 July 1918 – 8 August 2005) was a South African writer and public speaker of Indian descent. He was best known as a Muslim missionary who held numerous inter-religious public debates with evangelical Christians, as well as video lectures, most of which centred around Islam, Christianity and the Bible. He also established the IPCI, an international Islamic missionary organisation, and wrote several booklets on Islam and Christianity which were widely distributed by the organisation. He was awarded the prestigious King Faisal International Prize in 1986 for his 50 years of missionary work. One focus of his work was providing Muslims with theological tools for defending themselves against active proselytising by Christian missionaries.[citation needed] He used English to get his message across to Muslims and non-Muslims in the western world.
Ahmed Deedat was born in the town of Tadkeshwar, Surat, Bombay Presidency, British India in 1918. His father had emigrated to South Africa shortly after the birth of Ahmed Deedat. At the age of 9, Deedat left India to join his father in what is now known as Kwazulu-Natal. His mother died only a few months after his departure. Arriving in South Africa, Deedat applied himself with diligence to his studies, overcoming the language barrier and excelling in school, even getting promoted until he completed standard 6. However, due to financial circumstances, he had to quit school and start working by the time he was the age of 16.
