Health Care in Russia: Policies and the Health Care System

Vitaly Omelyanovskiy, MD, PhD, President of the ISPOR Russia HTA Chapter states that "we need to improve the efficiency of how money is spent on health care" and "the most important challenge for the Russian government is the implementation of HTA into the health care system." He explains how the ISPOR CEE Network, which provides a platform for exchange of knowledge and expertise and collaboration among countries in the CEE region, is working to meet this challenge.
