The Bahá'í Faith ( /bəˈhaɪ/) is a monotheistic religion founded by Bahá'u'lláh in 19th-century Persia, emphasizing the spiritual unity of all humankind. There are an estimated five to six million Bahá'ís around the world in more than 200 countries and territories.
In the Bahá'í Faith, religious history is seen to have unfolded through a series of divine messengers, each of whom established a religion that was suited to the needs of the time and the capacity of the people. These messengers have included Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad - as well as figures from extra-Abrahamic traditions such as Zoroaster, Krishna, and the Buddha. For Baha'is, the most recent messengers are the Báb and Bahá'u'lláh. In Bahá'í belief, each consecutive messenger prophesied of messengers to follow, and Bahá'u'lláh's life and teachings fulfilled the end-time promises of previous scriptures. Humanity is understood to be in a process of collective evolution, and the need of the present time is for the gradual establishment of peace, justice and unity on a global scale.

Fong was born in Hawaii and his family moved to Shanghai when he was 6. His father, Les Fong (an American-born Chinese from San Francisco, California), wanted Khalil to learn more about Chinese culture. Six years later, they moved to Guangzhou and lived there for about 2 years. Afterwards, they moved to Hong Kong.
Khalil is self-taught on the guitar and piano, beginning from the ages of 15 and 18 respectively. It was also around this time that he started writing songs and sending demos to music producers. Warner Music Hong Kong finally recruited him as a producer. Khalil follows the Bahá'í Faith.
In 2005, he had his first CD “Soulboy” released on Warner Records HK label. On December 29, 2006, Khalil released his second album “This Love”(愛愛愛).
His favorite music genres are Soul, Neo-Soul, Jazz, 50's Doowop and Rock.
Musicians that have influenced Khalil's style:
I remember waiting in line
I was waiting for the bell to ring
I remember waiting just to hear
My name called again
I can feel a hand on my back in the hall
It was summer time
You know those feelings never left
I feel your hand in mine
Yeah it was all I could do walking round
With my hand in the air
Cause it was all that I knew at the time
Thought it was right in there
Pave the way, pave the way, the way
Yeah you pave the way...
Nothing could ever reach the days that I spent
On a seat in a bus
Whenever we were early
We'd be the last to class
Walking round like we knew everything
But we never did
Telling everybody trashy stories
'bout how we get so bent
Yeah it was all I could do walking round
With my hand in the air
Cause it was all that I knew at the time
Thought it was right in there
Pave the way, pave the way, the way
Yeah you pave the way...
Pave the way
Fly away, pave the way
Fly again, pave the way
Fly away...
I could have been her
More like a girl
But then again no
I've always known
As I watched
The girls in my class
Growing up fast
They never offered
I never asked
Did they feel alone like me?
Did they not know who to be?
And I'm not too blind to see
That I could change my ways
Or try to like the games they play
But I'm on my own anyway
So I might as well
Pave the way
I might as well
Pave the way
I didn't belong
I had to be strong
Just like a boy
But not like a boy
And I'm so surprised to see
On the outside and naked
You're just like me
And I'm not too blind to see
That I could change my ways
Or try to like the games they play
But I'm on my own anyway
So I might as well
Pave the way
I might as well
Pave the way
And I'll wear my rainbow flag with pride
And if I have people I love on my side
I'm alright
I'm alright
So I might as well
Pave the way
I might as well
Pave the way
Pave the way
I might as well
Jake and I have been
sleeping in the van a mile from his house this week,
because we know who we want to be.
Friends and families always try to shut us down,
but that's okay, we're paving our own way.
The only homesick that I get,
is sick of being home
and there's another eleven days before we're on the road
and if we don't leave any sooner,
I swear to god that I'll explode.
So let the miles stretch further than we know,
we're holding on to this dream and we'll never let go.
And you'll never see the sights that we're about to see,
and you'll never make memories like these.
And I can't help but laugh at all the things you need to be
content because all I need is this dream and my friends.
A sleeping bag and this van.
And at night I lie awake thinking about the other side of the United States,
and at night I lie awake.
I know we'll make it some day,
By faith we see the hand of God
In the light of creation's grand design
In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness
Who walk by faith and not by sight
By faith our fathers roamed the earth
With the power of His promise in their hearts
Of a holy city built by God's own hand
A place where peace and justice reign
We will stand as children of the promise
We will fix our eyes on Him our soul's reward
Till the race is finished and the work is done
We'll walk by faith and not by sight
By faith the prophets saw a day
When the longed-for Messiah would appear
With the power to break the chains of sin and death
And rise triumphant from the grave
By faith the church was called to go
In the power of the Spirit to the lost
To deliver captives and to preach good news
In every corner of the earth
We will stand...
By faith this mountain shall be moved
And the power of the gospel shall prevail
For we know in Christ all things are possible
For all who call upon His name
We will stand...
By faith we see the hand of God
In the light of creation's grand design
In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness
Who walk by faith and not by sight
By faith our fathers roamed the earth
With the power of His promise in their hearts
