Stories covered on this October 28, 2014 episode of the Nightly World News: The Sheriff of Clark County, Ohio has said that his office will refuse to participate in future ‘blood draw’ DUI stops after an infowars.com story prompted a huge backlash against the checkpoints, during which drivers can forcibly have their blood taken by police. A day before the planned checkpoint last week, Infowars published a story entitled “No Refusal” Blood Draw Checkpoint Planned for Ohio, in which we highlighted previous examples of how people have been forcibly strapped down by police and had their blood extracted while screaming things like “what country is this?,” in scenes which resemble something you would expect to see out of North Korea or Communist China. The story prompted demonstrators to head to Clark County in order to warn motorists against participating in the checkpoint. The National Academy of Sciences has published a shocking report which envisages a Chinese-style global one child policy as the only means of reversing climate change and reducing global population to a “sustainable” number of 1-2 billion people. The white paper, entitled Human population reduction is not a quick fix for environmental problems and authored by the University of Adelaide’s Corey Bradshaw and Barry Brook, even entertains the impact of world wars and global pandemics that wipe out 6 billion people as potential methods of combating the threat posed to the environment by overpopulation. While the Obama administration continues to argue against travel restrictions on flights from Ebola ravaged areas, Australia has become the latest nation to shut it’s borders and freeze all visas from West African countries. The Australian immigration ministry is currently “not processing any application from these (Ebola) affected countries,” said its lead Minister, Scott Morrison, adding that the government is also suspending its humanitarian program. Monday night on CNN’s “OutFront with Erin Burnett,” Burnett asked CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta why the Obama administration’s new Ebola czar, Ron Klain, has been conspicuously silent on recent disease-related issues like quarantines. “Where is Ron Klain in all this?” Burnett asked Acosta. “He’s been in sort of a television or press quarantine, you might say. We have not seen Ron Klain since he became the Obama administration Ebola response coordinator about a week and a half ago. He started on the job last Wednesday and so the White House is saying, ‘Well, give him some time.’ You might see more from him soon.” After days of blistering criticism from the ACLU, the CDC and even the United Nations secretary general over Gov. Chris Christie’s new, 21-day mandatory quarantine policy for all healthcare workers exposed to Ebola, the New Jersey governor has gotten a much-needed vote of support from a heavyweight name in the medical community: Nobel Prize-winning doctor and medical researcher, Dr. Bruce Beutler. The deadly Ebola virus can survive for more than seven weeks on certain surfaces according to research conducted by the UK’s Defense Science and Technology Laboratory. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention website curiously mothballed pages admitting that the polio vaccine administered from 1955 to 1963 to over 98 million Americans was contaminated with a primate form of cancer virus. CDC web pages also referencing the link between the widely-distributed vaccine and cancer have similarly been discarded.
