Ion Television (stylized "ion TELEVISION") is a United States broadcast television network. Owned by ION Media Networks, the network commenced broadcasting on August 31, 1998 as PAX TV, a name it used until July 1, 2005, when it became i·Independent Television. The network was rechristened to it's current name of Ion on January 29, 2007. As of 2010[update], the network was reportedly viewable in 99 million homes in the U.S. through its group of 60 stations, as well as cable and satellite distribution. Its stations reach all of the top 20 U.S. markets and 37 of the top 50 markets.
The network was originally named Pax Net, but renamed PAX TV before its launch in 1998 by Lowell "Bud" Paxson, co-founder of the Home Shopping Network and chairman of Paxson Communications. The network also aired religious programming from The Worship Network during the late-night hours and contemporary Christian television network Praise TV on Friday and Saturday nights from midnight to 3 A.M. ET/PT.
Most of PAX's initial affiliates were Paxson Communications-owned affiliate stations of the Infomail TV Network or InTV, a broadcast network launched in 1995 by Lowell "Bud" Paxson, that relied solely on infomercial programming. The network launched on August 31, 1998 with PAX's initial schedule being much larger in scope than it would be in later years. It consisted of general entertainment programs from noon-midnight ET/PT weekdays and of paid programming from midnight-1 a.m. ET/PT, 5 a.m.–noon ET/PT, and all afternoon on Saturdays and Sundays.

Scott has appeared in numerous television series such as Dark Angel, Joey and CSI: Miami.
In 2002 she appeared as Helena Kyle/The Huntress on The WB television drama series Birds of Prey. The series premiered October 9, 2002. Despite the weekly ratings of 7.6 million viewers and the network's largest audience in the 18–34 demographic at the time,[citation needed] the series was cancelled. Thirteen episodes were produced in total.
In 2006 it was announced she has signed on as a series regular on Jericho as Emily Sullivan. The show ran on CBS from September 20, 2006 through March 25, 2008. It was initially canceled after its first full season due to poor ratings. While a fan campaign was able to convince the network to bring the show back for a seven-episode second season, it was canceled for a second time after that run. In May 2010, Scott appeared as Dana Hutton, in an episode of the CBS series NCIS.
John Edward Walsh (born December 26, 1945) is an American television personality, criminal investigator, human and victim rights advocate and the host, as well as creator, of America's Most Wanted. Walsh is known for his anti-crime activism, which he became involved with following the murder of his son, Adam, in 1981; in 2008, the now dead serial killer Ottis Toole was named as the killer of Walsh's son. Walsh is part owner of the Museum of Crime & Punishment in Washington, D.C.
Walsh was born in Auburn, New York. He attended the University at Buffalo. After college and marriage to the former Revé Drew in 1971, the newlywed Walshes settled in South Florida, where John became involved in building high-end luxury hotels.
In the summer of 1981, Walsh was a partner in a hotel management company in Hollywood, Florida. He and his wife, Revé, had a six-year-old son, Adam. On July 27, 1981, Adam was abducted from a Sears department store at the Hollywood Mall, across from the Hollywood Police station. Revé had dropped Adam off in the Sears toy department while she looked for a lamp. When she returned about 7 minutes later, Adam was missing. Police records in Adam's case released in 1996 show that a 17-year-old security guard asked four boys to leave the department store. Adam is believed to have been one of them. Sixteen days after the abduction, his severed head was found in a drainage canal more than 120 miles away from home. His other remains were never recovered.
