Le Petite Traveler goes around asking French people what they think about Americans!!!
Overall, I think that they did very well for not having a native English speaker with whom to practice on a daily basis. Just by listening to music and watching television, along with their schooling they were able to comprehend the basics. My level of comprehension and speaking of the French language is about the same as their level of comprehension and speaking of the English language. Looking at it afterward, I think that I answered their question to me about "college" wrong. College in France is middle school for us, so I was supposed to tell them the middle school that I went to when i was their age and not my current university. Their question was "dans quel collège tu étudiais (l'imparfait - a french past tense)" and I answered "j'étudie (present tense) à bordeaux 3." The correct answer is "J'étudiais à Steven Decatur Middle School." Comment, like and subscribe!

Three French sports personalities are among 10 people killed in a helicopter crash in Argentina, the French presidential office confirms. Eight French nationals and their two Argentine pilots all died when two helicopters collided in La Rioja province in the country's north-west. They crashed near Villa Castelli, about 1,170km (720 miles) from Buenos Aires, according to local officials. The helicopters were involved in the filming of TV survival show Dropped. Long-distance yachtswoman Florence Arthaud, Olympic swimmer Camille Muffat and Olympic boxer Alexis Vastine were confirmed dead by the office of French President Francois Hollande. Camille Muffat won three medals in the pool at the London Olympics in 2012, while Alexis Vastine took a boxing bronze in Beijing in 2008. The helicopters were filming Dropped, a popular celebrity show on the channel TF1. The show flies celebrities into rough terrains by helicopter and films their attempts to find food and shelter. Camille Muffat, Alexis Vastine and Florence Arthaud Camille Muffat, Alexis Vastine and Florence Arthaud were confirmed dead by President Hollande's office One of the contestants, former France and Arsenal footballer Sylvain Wiltord, tweeted: "I'm sad for my friends, I'm trembling, I'm horrified, I have no words, I don't want to say anything." The cause of the crash is unclear. Officials have said the weather conditions in the mountainous area where it happened were good. "An explosion occurred and it's believed that they must have collided,'' said La Rioja Secretary of Security Cesar Angulo. "Aeronautical experts will have to determine that," he added. "We learn with great sadness about the accident during the filming of the Dropped show," said a statement issued by TF1. "All TF1 teams come together in this terrible time with the pain of the families and relatives of the victims."

New Interview Zlatan Ibrahimovic Apologizes To Everyone For His Outburst on Referee sunday 15/03 Follow me on twitter : Subscribe to my channel here: Zlatan Ibrahimović (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈslaːtan ɪbraˈhiːmɔvɪtɕ], Bosnian pronunciation: [zlǎtan ibraxǐːmoʋit͡ɕ]; born 3 October 1981) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a striker for French club Paris Saint-Germain and the Swedish national team for which he is captain.[4] Ibrahimović started his career at Malmö FF in the late 1990s before being signed by Ajax, where made a name for himself under Ronald Koeman. He later signed with Juventus for €16 million, and gained fame in Serie A by benefiting from his strike partnership with David Trezeguet. In 2006, Ibrahimović signed with rivals Internazionale, where he won individual awards such as the Italian Oscar del Calcio and the Swedish Guldbollen, and was named in the 2007 and 2009 UEFA Team of the Year, in addition to finishing as the league's highest scorer in 2008–09 while winning three straight Scudetti. In the summer of 2009, he transferred to Barcelona. His time at Barcelona was short-lived, however, moving back to Serie A football with A.C. Milan the following season, in a deal which made him one of the highest paid footballers in the world[5] and cost the Italian club €24 million. He signed with Paris Saint-Germain in July 2012. Ibrahimović is one of ten players to have made 100 or more appearances for the Swedish national team, and is the country's all time leading goalscorer in international matches with 51 goals. He has represented Sweden at the 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cups, as well as the 2004, 2008 and 2012 UEFA European Championships. With his playing style compared to Dutch legend Marco van Basten, Ibrahimović is one of the best finishers in the game and is regarded to be one of the best footballers of his generation.[6][7][8][9] His spectacular bicycle kick for Sweden against England won the 2013 FIFA Puskás Award for Goal of the Year.[10] In December 2013, Ibrahimović was ranked by The Guardian as the third-best player in the world.[11] In December 2014, Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter named him the second-greatest Swedish sportsperson of all time, after Björn Borg.[12] New Interview Zlatan Ibrahimovic Apologizes To Everyone For His Outburst on15/03/2015 Zlatan Ibrahimovic new interview ! apologizes for outburst at referee Zlatan Ibrahimovic new interview ! apologizes for outburst at referee Zlatan Ibrahimovic new interview ! apologizes for outburst at referee Zlatan Ibrahimovic new interview ! apologizes for outburst at referee Zlatan Ibrahimovic new interview ! apologizes for outburst at referee Zlatan Ibrahimovic new interview ! apologizes for outburst at referee

Reuters 2015-03-31The French (French: Français) are a nation that share a common French culture and speak the French language as a mother tongue. Historically, the French population are descended from peoples of Celtic, Latin and Germanic origin, and are today a mixture of several ethnic groups. Within France, the French are defined by citizenship, regardless of ancestry or country of residence.
However, the word can also refer to people of French descent who are found in other countries, with significant French-speaking population groups or not, such as Argentina (French Argentines), Brazil (French Brazilians), French West Indies (the French Caribbean people), Canada (French Canadians) and the United States (French Americans), and some of them have a French cultural identity. The United Kingdom also has a large French population, mainly in England, and due to historic relations and immigration.
To be French, according to the first article of the Constitution, is to be a citizen of France, regardless of one's origin, race, or religion (sans distinction d'origine, de race ou de religion). According to its principles, France has devoted herself to the destiny of a proposition nation, a generic territory where people are bounded only by the French language and the assumed willingness to live together, as defined by Ernest Renan's "plébiscite de tous les jours" ("daily referendum" on the willingness to live together, in Renan's 1882 essay "Qu'est-ce qu'une nation?").
Robin McLaurin Williams (born July 21, 1951) is an American actor and comedian. His maternal great-great-grandfather was senator and Mississippi governor Anselm J. McLaurin. Williams is of English, Welsh, Irish, and French ancestry. He was raised in the Episcopal Church (his mother practiced Christian Science).
