A 10 minute video, of a week in the life of the Home Moving Planners team. This is a typical job for us, and is the core part of our business. This property is over 100 years old and one of the first built in the Waverley district. Due to its heritage listing, it is not allowed to be demolished and therefore it's new owners have to live in the property. So our job was to make the house look great for sale and for potential buyers to want to live at the property. This video shows you how the team at Home Moving Planners transform an old run down home, into a homely and inviting house for sale in a week. It will show you all of the stages involved in preparing a house for sale: Decluttering & Sorting, Clearing and Rearranging Furniture, Cleaning, Styling and Staging This was an interesting job, and due to some existing renovations done within the structure of the house, some of the rooms were quite strangely shaped and therefore tricky to style and arrange, however after rearranging and playing with how each of the rooms should look, we eventually came up with ideas to make the rooms look spacious and inviting. Thanks again to our wonderful team for all their hard work.

Yang Prasat Railway Halt Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Defunct_railway_stations_in_Thailand Music : Cliff Side, Silent Partner; YouTube Audio Library Ghost stations is the usual English translation for the German word Geisterbahnhöfe. This term was used to describe certain stations on Berlin's U-Bahn and S-Bahn metro networks that were closed during the period of Berlin's division during the Cold War. Since then, the term has come to be used to describe any disused station on an underground railway line, especially those actively passed through by passenger trains. An abandoned (or disused) railway station is a building or structure which was constructed to serve as a railway station but has fallen into disuse. There are various circumstances when this may occur - a railway company may fall bankrupt, or the station may be closed due to the failure of economic activitiy such as insufficient passenger numbers, operational reasons such as the diversion or replacement of the line. In some instances, the railway line may continue in operation while the station is closed. Additionally, stations may sometimes be resited along the route of the line to new premises - examples of this include opening a replacement station nearer to the centre of population, or building a larger station on a less restricted site to cope with high passenger numbers. Notable cases where railway stations have fallen into disuse include the Beeching Axe, a 1960s programme of mass closures of unprofitable railway lines by the British Government. The London Underground system is also noted for its list of closed stations. During the time of the Berlin Wall, a number of Berlin U-Bahn stations on West Berlin lines became "ghost stations" (Geisterbahnhöfe) because they were on lines which passed through East Berlin territory. Railway stations and lines which fall into disuse may become overgrown. Some former railway lines are repurposed as managed nature reserves, trails or other tourist attractions - for example Hellfire Pass, the route of the former "Death Railway" in Thailand. Many former railways are converted into long-distance cycleways, such as large sections of the National Cycle Network in the United Kingdom. In rural areas, former railway station buildings are often converted into private residences. Examples include many of the stations on the closed Didcot, Newbury and Southampton Railway in England. Architecturally and historically notable station buildings may present a problem if they are protected under building preservation laws but fall into disuse. Such buildings are often simply demolished (such as Broad Street railway station (London); a similar fate threatens Michigan Central Station), or they may be preserved as part of a heritage railway. Often, in order to be retained as commercially viable structures within an urban environment, or as part of an urban regeneration project, they may be repurposed for alternative activities. Prominent examples include the ornate Gare d'Orsay in Paris, France, which was converted into the Musée d'Orsay art gallery; and Manchester Central railway station which was put to new use first as a car park, and later refurbished as the Manchester Central Conference Centre. The Ottawa Convention Centre is a former station, as are railway museums Memory Junction in Brighton and Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario in Smiths Falls. In Prescott the rail station houses historical society offices; in Lac-Mégantic and Kingston a former station houses a tourism information office. Stations have also been transformed into restaurants or private residences. Many abandoned railway stations and line are now being brought back into operational service, notably in the UK where environmental policy is driving the reversal of some of the Beeching closures of the 1960s. In London the Docklands Light Railway made use of disused railway infrastructure for much of its construction; in Manchester it is proposed to expand the Metrolink light rail system by re-opening abandoned rail lines; and in Scotland, the Scottish Government has plans to bring the Waverley Line back into passenger service.

Community Comments Two community members commented on Ender's Game. Superintendent's Report Superintendent previewed the Resolution in support of the Outdoor Wilderness Lab. During the Business Session, the Board discussed the details of the Outdoor Wilderness Lab and confirmed that the plan is to use the Board's Resolution of support to finalize funding so that the Lab concept can be developed without additional costs to the District. Frank McGee provided insights. The Resolution was passed. CMAS Results Tony Giuardo and Leigh Grasso updated the Board with a presentation on the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) results. The presentation included an overview of a plan of action to improve scores, which included: revising the curriculum, with focus on sequencing and emphasis; updating curriculum support materials; and adapting instruction. Giuardo addressed the challenge technology added to this first-ever online test. They also provided examples of the type of questions. Board Members asked if a one-to-one ratio of technology devices would be part of the solution, citing how a device with internet connection can source multiple curriculum resources. The question was essentially, is it more cost effective to purchase technology and resource licenses or a variety of hard copy resources traditionally purchased? A rough cost analysis will be prepared. The vast number of assessments was also presented. The 1202 Committee was mentioned, and audience members were encouraged to attend the 1202 meeting in Grand Junction from 6 to 8 pm at the CMU ballroom on November 6th. Teachers and parents are asked to express their opinions on the volume of assessments. Fiscal Oversight Committee Proposal Phil Onofrio discussed a proposal for a singular fiscal oversight committee that combines/replaces the budget and audit committee, plus adds the task of reviewing district financials. This increases operational efficiencies and maintains clear fiscal oversight on behalf of the Board. The committee would meet on a quarterly basis and provide quarterly reports to the Board. The audit committee has 8 members and the budget committee has over 20. The new fiscal oversight committee would be comprised of fewer total members, and likely include community members with fiscal experience along with staff members and a Board member representative. During the Business Session, the Board passed the Resolution. Financial Report Phil Onofrio reviewed the District's current financial report. An increase in medical expenses was noted, but it is a timing aberration due to the changing of our plan cycle, which renews in January. Expulsion Report Superintendent Schultz presented September expulsions, noting an increase this year over same period last year, but also providing a look ahead to October, where expulsions are down. The Drug Oversight Committee was mentioned, which is working on increasing awareness about the dangers of marijuana on young, developing minds. The Board was invited to attend a drug education training workshop for High School Assistant Principals on November 6, 2014. Board Member Reports Ann Tisue spoke her continuing concerns over the use of the Ender's Game. Tom Parrish commented on the positive experience of the new staff event hosted by D51 Foundation. Greg Mikolai just returned from the high school marching band competition in Parker and was happy to announce that Palisade High School came in second place in their division. Jeff Leany echoed the concerns expressed by Tisue regarding the continued use of Ender's Game. John Williams was present and did not share an update. Open Discussion Tom Parrish discussed the "negative factor" and negative funding issues still facing the state and district. Depending on the election outcomes, it is very likely that we'll need community support to express to legislators the importance of reducing, if not eliminating, the negative factor. The negative factor reduces funding to District 51 by about $22 million per year.
This trip is about a day with First Capital Connect just to collect some units which I needed. This journey starts at Rugeley Town and board the 0731 to Rugeley Trent Valley worked by Class 170 DMUs, once at Rugeley Trent Valley, I board a London Midland Class 350 EMU to London Euston, the 0748 from Crewe and travel down the West Coast Main Line to arrive into London at 0936. On arrival I walked it from London Euston to London St Pancras International to get to the Thameslink platforms to board a First Connect Class Class 319 to Elephant & Castle to film some Class 319s including 319215 which was my last required Class 319/2. After an hour at Elephant & Castle, boarded a train to change at Herne Hill but at Loughborough Junction, the train I was on had to wait due to a lorry striking a bridge but the FCC staff kept us informed and 10 minutes later, the train was off again, I changed at Herne Hill to board a SouthEastern Class 465 to London Victoria, then went on the London Underground District Line to Embankment to change onto the Northern Line to Moorgate and then onto Liverpool Street on a S Stock to get a C2C Class 357 in London Liverpool Street but then I went back to Moorgate to go down to the FCC platforms to catch the 1258 to Welwyn Garden City to get to New Southgate but I saw the fence and change my mind and went to Oakleigh Park instead, even know the fence was there you could still film at the south end of the station. After an hour at Oakleigh Park, travelled on a Class 313 to Finsbury Park to change onto a Class 365 EMU to London Kings Coss, suprisly it was 365533 in the new Thameslink Great Northern livery with FCC branding. After arriving at London Kings Cross, I went back to London St. Pancras International to board another Class 319 to West Hampstead Thameslink to get some more Class 319s and my missing Class 377/5 but there also some Southern Class 377/2s which had been cascaded from Southern to First Capital Connect with the introduction of the Class 377/7 but also here was Class 47, 47790 with Class 57, 57307 Lady Penelope on the Northern Belle from Edinburgh Waverley to London St. Pancras International and then Empty stock back to Crewe. After West Hampstead Thameslink, I went to the other West Hampstead and boarded a Class 378 EMU to Shepherd's Bush and caught a Class 377/7 EMU going to Milton Keynes Central, then after a walk across the street, went on a London Underground 1992 Tube Stock to Notting Hill Gate to change onto a S7 Stock District line service to Edgware Road and then onto another S7 Stock to Euston Square, on arrival, I walk up to the streets of London and walk back to London Euston and wait for the 1923 Virgin Trains Service to Wolverhampton which is a Class 390 Pendolino but boarded coach H, the first class quiet coach. With a stop at Watford Junction to pick up Passengers and then into Coventry, Birmingham International and then Birmingham New Street to change trains but before I change trains I went to get something to eat and look at the progress on the Midland Metrolink extension into Stephenson Street outside New Street station, then I boarded the 2117 to Rugeley Trent Valley worked by a Class 170 Turbostar but got off at Rugeley Town and ended the show.

The Times of India 2015-04-05The Borough of Waverley is a local government district with borough status in Surrey, England. The borough's headquarters are in the town of Godalming, with Farnham (2001 Census Pop. 37,055) and Haslemere (2001 Census Pop. 15,612) being the other large notable towns.
Waverley neighbours the boroughs of Guildford and Mole Valley in Surrey, and the counties of West Sussex and Hampshire. The borough is named after Waverley Abbey, near Farnham, the earliest Cistercian monastery in Britain. The borough also contains Blackheath Common an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Waverley is a Wealden borough, bounded to the north by the Hog's Back section of the North Downs and by the Greensand Ridge. It is one of the most heavily wooded boroughs in England. It takes its name from Waverley Abbey, whose ruins are within the district (unlike local wandering side Waverley Cricket Club, who are named after the Waverley Arms pub in Farnham and who have used the name since 1952).
The district was formed on 1 April 1974, under the Local Government Act 1972, by a merger of the municipal borough of Godalming, with Farnham and Haslemere urban districts and Hambledon Rural District.
Waverley is the name of several different things:
Note, multiple locations in the United States use the spelling "Waverly": see Waverly (disambiguation)
A district is a type of administrative division, in some countries managed by a local government. Entities known as districts vary greatly in size, spanning entire regions or counties, several municipalities, or subdivisions of municipalities.
In Austria, a district or Bezirk is an administrative division normally encompassing several municipalities, roughly equivalent to the Landkreis in Germany. The administrative office of a district, the Bezirkshauptmannschaft is headed by the Bezirkshauptmann. It is in charge of the administration of all matters of federal and state administrative law and subject to orders from the higher instances, usually the Landeshauptmann (governor) in matters of federal law and the Landesregierung (state government) in state law. While there are matters of administrative law the municipalities themselves are in charge of, or where there are special bodies, the district is the basic unit of general administration in Austria.
