Marwan ibn al-Hakam (623–685) (Arabic: مروان بن الحكم) was the fourth Umayyad Caliph, who took over the dynasty after Muawiya II abdicated in 684. Marwan's ascension pointed to a shift in the lineage of the Umayyad dynasty from descendants of Abu Sufyan to those of Hakam, both of whom were grandsons of Umayya (for whom the Umayyad dynasty is named). Hakam uncle of Uthman ibn Affan.
During the "Battle of the Camel" Marwan ibn al-Hakam is said to have shot his general Talhah with an arrow to the thigh, resulting in his death. Marwan killed Talhah in revenge for his alleged betrayal of the third Caliph, Uthman. He was removed from this position by Ali, only to be reappointed by Muawiya I. Marwan was eventually removed from the city when Abdullah ibn Zubayr rebelled against Yazid I. From here, Marwan went to Damascus, where he was made the caliph after Muawiya II abdicated.
Marwan's short reign was marked by a civil war among the Umayyads as well as a war against Abdullah ibn Zubayr who continued to rule over the Hejaz, Iraq, Egypt and parts of Syria. Marwan was able to win the Umayyad civil war, the result of which was a new Marwanid line of Umayyad caliphs. He was also able to recapture Egypt and Syria from Abdullah, but was not able to completely defeat him. Shi'a hold that none of the Umayyad caliphs were legitimate. See Succession to Muhammad for more details.

2011 Al- Shahroura
Mornin' Mr. Radio
Mornin' little Cheerios
Mornin' sister Oriole
Did I tell you everything is fine
In my mind
Mornin' Mr. Shoeshine man
Shine 'em bright in white and tan
My baby said she loves me and
Need I tell you that
Everything here is just fine
(In)
In my mind
Excuse me if I sing
My heart has found its wings, ohh yes
Searchin' high and low
And now at last I know
Mornin' Mr. Golden Gate
I should walk but I can't wait
I can't wait to set it straight
I was shakin' but now I am
Makin' it fine
Here in my mind
My heart will soar
With love that's rare and real
My smiling face will feel every cloud
Then higher still
Beyond the blue until
I know I can
Like any man
Reach out my hand
And touch the face of God
Excuse me if I sing
My heart has found its wings
Searchin' high and low
And now at last I know
Mornin' Mr. Radio
Mornin' little Cheerios
Mornin' sister Oriole
Did I tell you that everything is fine
Ooh in my mind?
So, won't you get up Oriole
So, won't you get up Cheerios
Wake up Mr. Radio
[Incomprehensible] it's fine
Here in my mind
Singin' about mornin' little radio
Note: Sprinkled throughout this song are liberal amounts of (La la la)'s and (Ooooos)'s in appropriate echo-like places;^)
Only once in a life
Does a boy find a girl
He loves much as I love you
Mary Ann
Give me back your love if you can
I know we'll be happy again
Think of what you do
Only once in a life
Does a boy feel as glad
As I felt when I had you
Mary Ann
Give me back your love if you can
I know we'll be happy again
Think of what you do
Do to the one boy
Who needs you so bad
You were my one joy
Now you've made me so sad
Only one in a life
Does a boy feel the hurt
That I felt when I lost you
Mary Ann
Give me back your love if you can
I know we'll be happy again
Think of what you do
I wanna tell you
I need you so much
I really felt that
I long for your touch
Only once in a life
Does a boy cry the tears
That I cried when I.I lost you
Mary Ann
Give me back your love if you can
I know we'll be happy again
Think of what you do
Mary Ann
Give me back your love if you can
ME DIJISTE QUE ME AMABAS SÓLO A MÍ
ME DIJISTE QUE ME HARÍAS TAN FELIZ
TE REISTE CUANDO TÚ ME VISTE LLORAR
EL PRINCIPIO DE UNA HISTORIA SIN FINAL
PROMETISTE UN MUNDO NUEVO Y TE CREÍ
ME PROMETISTE LA LUNA Y EL CIELO DE ABRIL
ME CONTASTE UN CUENTO CHINO POR DEMÁS
TERMINANDO MUCHO ANTES DE EMPEZAR
MIRA NIÑO
YO NO SÉ QUIÉN ERES
NI CUÁL ES TU NOMBRE
NI QUÉ ES LO QUE QUIERES
AY CARIÑO
QUE YA NO RECUERDO
DONDE HE VISTO ANTES
ESOS OJOS NEGROS
Y AÚN ASI ME SUENA TU CARA
DE ALGUNA VEZ EN OTRO TIEMPO
CUANDO YO TE AMABA
CONFUNDISTE LA MENTIRA Y LA VERDAD
CONFUNDISTE SER MI AMIGO CON AMAR
Y YO ESCRIBÍ TU NOMBRE EN LA ORILLA DEL MAR
QUE HOY LA MAREA SE HA ENCARGADO DE BORRAR
MIRA NIÑO
YO NO SÉ QUIEN ERES
NI CUÁL ES TU NOMBRE
NI QUÉ ES LO QUE QUIERES
AY CARIÑO
QUE YA NO RECUERDO
DONDE HE VISTO ANTES
ESOS OJOS NEGROS
Y AÚN ASI ME SUENA TU CARA
DE ALGUNA VEZ EN OTRO TIEMPO
CUANDO YO TE AMABA
MIRA NIÑO
YO NO SÉ QUIEN ERES
NI CUÁL ES TU NOMBRE
NI QUÉ ES LO QUE QUIERES
AY CARIÑO
QUE YA NO RECUERDO
DONDE HE VISTO ANTES
ESOS OJOS NEGROS
Y AÚN ASI ME SUENA TU CARA
DE ALGUNA VEZ EN OTRO TIEMPO
CUANDO YO TE AMABA
ME DIJISTE QUE ME AMABAS SÓLO A MÍ
ME DIJISTE QUE ME HARÍAS TAN FELIZ…
