What We Do

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the UN’s global development network, working in 177 countries and territories. UNDP provides technical advice and assistance for sustainable human development and supports Serbia in joining the European Union. UNDP operates in Serbia since 1952 through the Country Office in Belgrade.

Human Development Report 2014 Sustaining Human Progress: Reducing Vulnerabilities and Building Resilience

The 2014 Report highlights the need for both promoting people's choices and protecting human development achievements. It takes the view that vulnerability threatens human development, and unless it is systematically addressed, by changing policies and social norms, progress will be neither equitable nor sustainable.
