On the 11th and 12th October 2014, BSS Jakarta ran its first annual BSS Cup. It was run in the great venue of Lapangan bola Soemantri, Kuningan, Jakarta and was attended by 320 children from 10 different schools/soccer schools. There was competition of U8's, U10's, U12's and U14 where all teams gave its best performances and quality football through out the tournament. Teams involve were a combination between international schools, international soccer schools, local soccer schools and private schools which showed different nationality children competing and really giving the international competition atmosphere that extra boost. We had children from Indonesia, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Japan, Korea and many more playing in the BSS tournament. The objective of running the tournament is to give children maximum playing time in a competitive level where all teams were promised a minimum of 4 games. Day 1 was filled with group stage fixture where the 2nd day became more competitive as they entered the knock out stage where winners move on and losers go home. U10, U12 and U14 was all won by Asian Soccer Academy and they remain the defending champions for the next BSS tournament. The U8 was won by Mutiara Cempaka and won the finals against BSS A U8 team 2-0. With the presents of other teams, it gave BSS children a good standard to reach and how far they can improve as a football player. This is the first of many tournament BSS Jakarta will run and hopefully each year, more schools will be able to participate and BSS will always plan for a better and quality tournament for all. Please check out some pictures in our facebook page: Brazilian Soccer Schools Jakarta. Congratulation to all the winners, top scorers and MVP. We hope to see your faces again next year. Impressions from flight with Garuda Indonesia from Amsterdam to Jakarta via Dubai in Executive Class (GA089). This was our first flight with Garuda in Executive Class. Very impressed at that time but standard seems to have dropped a little bit since then. E.g.: On our last flights no Indonesian rijsttafel anymore, no choice of Haägen Dasz ice cream flavour. But all considered, still very good service. What struck me most is that, even with gold status on their Frequent Flyer program, there is no recognition whatsoever; no personal welcome, no calling by name on board. On 12 different crews only ONCE we were called by our name. With only silver status on Singapore Airlines, most of the time there was recognition and a personal welcome. Here is second movie Garuda on their B777-300ER : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZChZ95kybzM

They call him Jakarta's Obama. Joko Widodo was elected governor of Jakarta in September last year thanks to overwhelming support from the city's urban poor and middle classes. Hugely popular with young people, many in Indonesia's capital believe he is able to do no wrong - that he is a cut above other Indonesian politicians, because of his humble and clean reputation. Previously the governor of Solo, a far smaller city than Jakarta, Mr Widodo campaigned on a pro-people platform, promising Jakarta residents that he could bring real change to their beleaguered city. But just 100 days in to the job, he has already had to face his first big test. On 17 January, swathes of dirty brown floodwaters engulfed many parts of Jakarta after heavy torrential rains caused dams to burst and rivers to overflow. Continue reading the main story " Start Quote He needs to do more. We don't need a governor who just shows the people that he cares" Ary Hermawan Deputy editor, Jakarta Post To date, at least 20 people have died because of the flooding, which has caused millions of dollars worth of damage to homes and businesses. The floods highlighted the basic infrastructure issues Jakarta has been grappling for decades. Jakarta residents are looking to their hero, Mr Widodo, to prove that he is up to the job of governing their city. "I have declared a state of emergency for Jakarta until 27 January," he said on national television, in response to the disaster. "We need to take steps that haven't been taken before, like building deep tunnels and a big dam, because this is the capital city. " Courtesy calls Mr Widodo has high expectations to meet, particularly from among Jakarta's urban poor. Mothers carry many of the smaller children on their backs, worried about the waterborne diseases the flooding could bring. Residents here say that floodwaters often reach 2-3m (6-9ft), engulfing their homes, destroying their belongings, and threatening their lives and livelihoods. But many are feeling more hopeful now that Joko Widodo, known popularly here as Jokowi, someone they helped to put in to office, is in power. Suhendra, a resident of 30 years, says his home and business - a small convenience shop - are regularly flooded. He has complained that in the past it was only the poor areas that get flooded - the richer, posher parts of town are spared. But he is hoping that with Mr Widodo in power, things will be better. "He's already been here to visit us four times, during these floods," Suhendra said. "He's very nice to the people - he is not like the old governors. Jokowi cares about us, the poor people. He's introduced subsidised healthcare and education for us, we didn't have that before." To be sure, Mr Widodo has already made some significant achievements during his short time in office. But he is also very aware of the need to show that he is working hard - something he alluded to during a recent interview with the BBC. Joko Widodo "Support from the people is very important," he said in response to a question about his regular visits to the poorer parts of Jakarta. "This is public participation, so when I ask them [residents of slums] what they need, they say: 'Governor, I need this, Governor, I want this'. I think that it's important to make these discussions and dialogues, so people feel like we are giving good attention to their problems." But the new governor's critics say he needs to spend less time paying courtesy visits and more time fixing Jakarta's problems. "It's time for a reality check," said Ary Hermawan, a deputy editor of the Jakarta Post. Mr Hermawan was a fan of the new governor in the lead-up to the election, championing Mr Widodo's pro-people platforms. But he says he is now disappointed with the lack of progress on many of Mr Widodo's promises. "He needs to do more," Mr Hermawan said. "We don't need a governor who just shows the people that he cares. We want a governor who can really convince us that 'I am capable, that I can solve this' - in the long term at least. That's the problem with Jokowi." Jakarta/Cakarta Jakarta is the capital and largest city of Indonesia. Located on the northwest coast of Java, Jakarta is the country's economic, cultural and political centre, and with a population of 10,187,595 as of November 2011, it is the most populous city in Indonesia and in Southeast Asia, and is the thirteenth most populated city in the world. The official metropolitan area, known as Jabodetabek (a name formed by combining the initial syllables of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi), is the second largest in the world, yet the metropolis's suburbs still continue beyond it. Jakarta is listed as a global city in the 2008 Globalization and World Cities Study Group and Network (GaWC) research. and has an area of 661 square kilometres (255 sq mi). This area has a population of well over 28 million, making it one of the world's largest conurbations in terms of number of inhabitants. In 2011, Jakarta ranked 17th among the world's 200 largest cities, a jump from its 2007 ranking of 171. Jakarta has grown more rapidly than Kuala Lumpur, Beijing and Bangkok. Established in the fourth century, the city became an important trading port for the Kingdom of Sunda. It was the de facto capital of the Dutch East Indies (known as Batavia at that time) and has continued as the capital of Indonesia since the country's independence was declared in 1945. The city is the seat of the ASEAN Secretariat. Jakarta is served by the Soekarno--Hatta International Airport, Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport, and Tanjung Priok Harbour; it is connected by several intercity and commuter railways, and served by several bus lines running on reserved busways. Most of the visitors attracted to Jakarta are domestic tourists from all over Indonesia. As the gateway of Indonesia, Jakarta often serves as the stop-over for foreign visitors on their way to Indonesian popular tourist destinations such as Bali and Yogyakarta. Other than attracted to monuments, landmarks, and museums around Merdeka square and Jakarta Old Town, tourist attractions include Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Ragunan Zoo, Sunda Kelapa old port and the Ancol Dreamland complex on Jakarta Bay, including Dunia Fantasi theme park, Sea World, Atlantis Water Adventure, and Gelanggang Samudra. Tourism is contributing a growing amount of income to the city. In 2012, the tourism sector contributed 2.6 trillion rupiah (US$268.5 million) to the city's total direct income of 17.83 trillion rupiah, a 17.9 per cent increase over 2011. Tourism stakeholders are expecting greater marketing of the Jakarta as a tourism destination.Wikipedia

Enjoy this new economy class experience onboard Air France's Boeing 777-300ER. This particular aircraft features the new first, business, premium economy and economy class product. Verdict: Seat: The seat was comfortable with generous legroom. Entertainment: The IFE was impressive and the touchscreen was responsive. Service: The cabin crew were professional and were prompt to requests. Meal: The dinner service was a letdown. The portion was too small but I guess that's what you get for a short flight. The lemon cake wasn't to my liking either. Overall: It was an enjoyable experience on this short flight with Air France. Flight experience of Air France Economy Class, onboard the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, from Jakarta, Indonesia, to Singapore. The flight, AF259, continues to Paris, France. Air France has 5th freedom traffic right on this flight sector from Jakarta to Singapore, allowing the airline to sell tickets for this sector. This particular flight is operated by Air France's first Boeing 777-300ER. The flight is initially delayed by an hour due to cargo system problems (as informed by the Captain). Onboard, a snack is served with a full range of beverages, including wines and beer. Aside from the hour's wait on the ground in Jakarta, it is a very lovely experience with Air France. This is the morning flight experience with ANA All Nippon Airways NH836 service to Tokyo Narita from Jakarta in economy class. Here is the quick details of this flight report: Aircraft : Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Airline : ANA All Nippon Airways (NH) Registration : JA807A Flight no : NH836 ETD : 06:25AM (UTC+7) ETA : 03:40PM (UTC+9) Flight Time : 7 hours 18 minutes Seat no : 24K Runway : - Origin : Soekarno Hatta International Airport (CGK) Jakarta, Indonesia Destination : Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) Tokyo, Japan FLIGHT REVIEW: -------------------------- The flight with ANA was enjoyable and very comfortable. The cabin crew were very polite and accommodating to every passengers' requests. The aircraft was very clean and new. The window in this aircraft is huge and can be adjusted with touch control. Apart from that, the humidity level is very good just like in the ground and the air is not dry. The restroom is also equipped with typical Japanese bidet control and the cabin crew make sure that it is kept clean at all time. It is indeed the best aircraft so far! After take off, The cabin crew served drinks and small bites to passengers and afterwards the cabin light and window shades are dimmed, allowing passengers to rest. 2 hours prior to arrival, hot meals are served. The food served is very tasty. The cabin crew keeps coming back and forth from the galley to the cabin to make a drink run to keep passengers hydrated at all time. it was a nice touch from them. The movie and music selections also covered broad range of the latest blockbuster movies and musics. --- I would rate this flight experience with ANA All Nippon Airways : 8.5/10 WATCH IN 1080p [HD] FOR BEST VIEWING RESULT Please Like, Share and Subscribe for more great videos! Welcome onboard World's Five Star Airline Qatar Airways Airbus A330-200 flight review. This flight review covers the inflight experience of QR956 from Doha to Jakarta, with a glimpse of the dazzling Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha. Though the flight had a delayed arrival in Jakarta, it was a pampering experience onboard with warm and gracious cabin crew, good legroom, great entertainment system, enchanting blue mood lighting, and delectable meals. I was frankly quite surprised at my very positive experience as the Airbus A330-200 does not feature Qatar Airways' newest cabin products. It was nevertheless, a very comfortable experience with Qatar Airways. Thank you for watching this Qatar Airways flight review on FlightTravels. Remember to subscribe to FlightTravels! Join me on this short hop back home to Singapore on Garuda Indonesia's Boeing 737-800 aircraft. I encountered a delay of 45 minutes before departing from Soekarno Hatta International Airport and despite departing late, we landed at Singapore just ahead of schedule. For dinner, my chicken with rice option was delicious and the portion was just right. For entertainment wise, the selection was decent but touchscreen function wasn't sensitive enough. All in all, I had a great time onboard GA836 (despite the lack of mood lighting) and I'm really satisfied with the service shown by the cabin crew. • Takeoff from Jakarta http://youtu.be/fJq_UUTebVs • Landing in Singapore http://youtu.be/HjeS9mvTP38 Filmed and edited by RVA9495 Enjoyed this video? Jakarta Travel Guide: Jakarta is the capital and largest city of Indonesia, located on the northwest of the island of Java. Jakarta is the country's economic, cultural and political centre and the most populous city not only in Indonesia but in Southeast Asia as a whole. Despite of the heavy traffic and heavy pollution the city is filled with exciting nightlife and vibrant shopping areas. The city is also the centre and melting pot of Indonesian culture which might be the thing for you to enjoy Jakarta. One excellent surprise you'll find in Jakarta is that once you past the taxi drivers who offer their services at the airport and really meet the locals, you will find that the people are among the most friendly, hospitable, and helpful people you'll find on earth, if you keep away from the midi-bus drivers who are notorious for being the harshest on earth. However, understand that Jakarta being a melting pot, you are guaranteed to meet people from all sorts of characters. Jakarta may initially seem a bit overwhelming, but if you can overlook the pollution and indulge in her charms, you can discover what is also one of Asia's most exciting, most lively cities. There is plenty to do in Jakarta, from cosmopolitan shopping at the many luxurious shopping centres to one of the hippest nightlife scenes in Southeast Asia. Stunning scenery is on offer as we rifle through the outskirts of Jakarta and passing towns and villages on the way. See what Indonesia has on offer for its tourists! Why not join the channel at: http://www.youtube.com/worlddocs2100 Indonesia officially the Republic of Indonesia, is a sovereign state in Southeast Asia and Oceania. Indonesia is an archipelago comprising 13,466 islands. It encompasses 33 provinces and 1 Special Administrative Region (for being governed by a pre-colonial monarchy) with over 238 million people, making it the world's fourth most populous country. Indonesia's republic form of government comprises an elected legislature and president. The nation's capital city is Jakarta. The country shares land borders with Papua New Guinea, East Timor, and Malaysia. Other neighbouring countries include Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, Palau, and the Indian territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Indonesia is a founding member of ASEAN and a member of the G-20 major economies. The Indonesian economy is the world's 16th largest by nominal GDP. The Indonesian archipelago has been an important trade region since at least the 7th century, when Srivijaya and then later Majapahit traded with China and India. Local rulers gradually absorbed foreign cultural, religious and political models from the early centuries CE, and Hindu and Buddhist kingdoms flourished. Indonesian history has been influenced by foreign powers drawn to its natural resources. Muslim traders brought the now-dominant Islam, while European powers brought Christianity and fought one another to monopolize trade in the Spice Islands of Maluku during the Age of Discovery. Following three and a half centuries of Dutch colonialism, Indonesia secured its independence after World War II. Indonesia's history has since been turbulent, with challenges posed by natural disasters, corruption, separatism, a democratization process, and periods of rapid economic change. Indonesia consists of hundreds of distinct native ethnic and linguistic groups. The largest -- and politically dominant -- ethnic group are the Javanese. A shared identity has developed, defined by a national language, ethnic diversity, religious pluralism within a majority Muslim population, and a history of colonialism and rebellion against it. Indonesia's national motto, "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" ("Unity in Diversity" literally, "many, yet one"), articulates the diversity that shapes the country. Despite its large population and densely populated regions, Indonesia has vast areas of wilderness that support the world's second highest level of biodiversity. The country has abundant natural resources, yet poverty remains widespread. In this movie from our trip through Indonesia, you will see all kinds of highlights from Java and Bali. After landing in Jakarta we quickly go to Gunung Halimun National Park. We stay at home with a local guide and visit a tea plantation, a tea factory and of course the surrounding jungles. It takes us 2 days to get from Citalahab (in Halimun) to get to Pangandaran beach. Here we learn to surf, take a swim in the Green Valley and visit a traditional Wajang puppet maker. From Pangandaran we head to Yogyakarta by train and visit the Borobudur temple. Come on let's reason
Even for a second,
Let's reason about the things what take
Place of I and I and I in Africa
During the invasion,
Some one gots to pay
Jah a go raid

You raid them Jah Jah raid them
Jah a go raid
You raid them Jah Jah You raid them
You raid them Jah Jah raid them
Jah a go raid
You raid then Jah Jah
He and them who take part in it
Who cause I and I blood fi run
In a River Jordan, beware,
This is a must
Some one gots to pay, raid them Jah, Jah
Jah a go raid
Story come to bump yes Jah
Story come to bump
When they rape my sister sister
They kill my mother mother
They chop off my father father head
And my brother brother lose his leg
Some one got to pay

You raid them Jah Jah raid them

You raid them Jah Jah
You raid them Jah Jah

They did raid I and I without a cause
So Jah raid them for I and I
Yes with a cause you raid them Jah Jah

Some one gots to pay
Some one gots to pay
Some one gots to pay Jah Jah

You raid them Jah Jah raid the
For I and I and I and I
You raid them Jah Jah
You raid them Jah Jah
Jah a go raid
Je garde les photos
Que tu n'as jamais prises
Et mes premiers sourires donnés
Passante mais conquise
Je garde tes soupirs
Aux matins de beaux jours
Tes yeux qui me désirent
