They'd Rather Kill Their Man Than Lose Him
So easy to kill. So hard to love.
Mothers... lock up your sons. The Switchblade Sisters are coming!
Lace... Maggie... Patch... Donut... Bunny... The wildest girl gang that ever blasted the streets!
Lace: If you go, it's gonna turn out *baaaaad*!
Muff: You know, sooner or later every woman's bound to find out - the only thing a man's got below his belt is clay feet.
Cop: Let me give you some advice.::Maggie: No, let me give you some advice, cop. You can beat us, chain us, lock us up. But we're gonna be back, understand? And when we do, cop, you better keep your ass off our turf, or we'll BLOW IT OFF! Ya dig? We're Jezebels, cop - remember that name. We'll be back!
[after Mom Smackley tries to molest her]::Maggie: Get your hands off me, you fat pig dyke!
Mom Smackley: [to Lace] Get off me, bitch!
Dominic: Everything was lousy! You were lousy! The whole fucking gang was lousy!
Bunny: [to Hook] Everybody knows your crank can hook a tuna.
Hook: Like my dad used to say, God rest his ass...
Patch: Hey I lost my eye for this gang

In the hours and after a horrific earthquake shattered much of Port-au-Prince in Haiti, Dr. Cadet was there, working quickly to assist as many injured survivors as he could. That was no easy task since 80% of a key hospital, St. Francois de Sales, was destroyed. Now, five years later, Catholic Relief Services and the Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince, with funding from the Catholic Health Association and Sur Futuro, have rebuilt the hospital into a modern teaching facility that will train the medical professionals of Haiti’s future and serve as a model for providing quality care to the poor around the country. Dr. Cadet, who now serves as the hospital’s chief operating officer, describes how the newly-built hospital will serve the people of Port-au-Prince.

Who was Joe Gaetjens? the man who scored the greatest goal in American soccer history. Joseph Edouard Gaetjens was born March 19, 1924, Port-au-Prince, Haiti; presumed dead July 1964, Haiti) was a Haitian soccer player who played for the United States national team in the 1950 FIFA World Cup, scoring the winning goal in the 1--0 upset of England. Born in Haiti to a Haitian mother and a German father, Gaetjens's great-grandfather Thomas, a native of Bremen, had been sent to Haiti by Frederick William III, the King of Prussia, as a business emissary. The family was quite prosperous, and although by the time of Joe's birth their wealth had decreased significantly, they were still among the Haitian elite. When Gaetjens was born, his father even registered the birth certificate with the German embassy, in case Joe ever wanted to gain German citizenship. Gaetjens joined Etoile Haïtienne at the age of 14 and won two Ligue Haïtienne championships in 1942 and 1944. However, he could not make a living from professional soccer, so he went to New York City in the late 1940s to study accounting at Columbia University on a scholarship from the Haitian government. While there he played for Brookhattan of the American Soccer League, winning the league's scoring title. His success for the team attracted the attention of U.S. Soccer, and Gaetjens made the national team for the 1950 World Cup. Gaetjens played three games at the World Cup, but easily the most memorable was one of the greatest World Cup upsets in history, in which Gaetjens scored the decisive goal of a 1--0 victory in which the American soccer team defeated the hugely favored English at Belo Horizonte.

My top 10 things you should pack when traveling to Haiti. Keeping it light this week. I hope you like it.
This is what it's like to spend six days in Haiti. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MutmrcNxSe8 Haiti has been getting a lot of press from the earthquake but it's actually a great place to explore. Hatian food is great by the way. Ahiti. Youtuber goes to Haiti. Most taxis are motorbikes and there are UN Troops everywhere. June and July in Haiti. Sterling Toliver Rose Padilla Portnoy and Nick ******* in Haiti. Oh and don't read this by the way these are just key words organized into sentences. Special on haiti. Youtuber Goes to Haiti. This is a real Haiti adventure, we rode on the 4 person motorbikes, took pickup truck buses from Cap-Haitian to Gonaives where we got taken by the Ebenezer mission before continuing on to puert au prince. Haiti is great, the people are nice and a lot of fun, the Haitian beer "Prestige" was great. Haiti has been though a lot with the huge earthquake, hurricane sandy and the constant missmanagement of charity money. It needs more tourism and more money spent stimulating the local economy. Fun style documentary about the fun to be had in Haiti. Full 10 minute documentary. Mission to Haiti just like James Bond in 007 quantum of solace. The nice people at the ebenezer missions gave us some history and info about haiti and told us about the government gold situation and how they claim all gold found on private land. In Gonaives at night, there was a party going on through the whole town. We explored Gonaives's local bars and restaurants. After exploring gonaives we stayed in the nicest hotel in puerto prince which was playing hotel california as soon as we walked in. We went to Puerto Prince and ran from an evil hotel found a cooler one and had fun. HD Footage of the crumbled presidential palace. The port. 6 Days in Haiti. Travel and events. Travel Tips for haiti. If you're interested in traveling to Haiti this shows you where to go and how fun it is there. Travel guide. Tourist info. Map. I guess some people spell it hayty or haitie or ayiti. ufo's ufo in haiti? Government speaks. This is better than a documentary, it's from the point of view of the travelers and actually shows what it's like to be in Haiti for almost a week. Cap-Haitien. Sterling Toliver, Journalist, embarks on a week long adventure into Haiti to make a 10 minute fun style documentary about what it's like getting lost and hanging around in Haiti. Fun style journalism. Belleville resort resorts collab eben ezer romana On the 4 hour pick up truck ride we went through the towns of Colladere Hinche Desames La Chapelle and plain du cul de sac. Long version of the Haiti video finally. Actually going there and spending money is the best way to help haiti since the money goes strait into the local economy. More recently hit by hurricane sandy which moved on to cuba, Florida and the whole south eastern coast. The donation money goes nowhere Haitie needs more travelers. Haiti has some nice beaches that we didn't go to in Laborleux and Les Cayes. Three travelers go to Haiti and get lost, taken, stuck and cheated because they had know idea where they were going and don't speak the language. Videos de Haiti. tomassant What's up with all the grand theft auto vice city mission walkthroughs? The three of us were hanging out in the Dominican Republic and decided to go to Haiti for the day. We didn't speak any French so we got lost many times and taken by a mission compound. haitienne. We went to the cities of Gonieves Puert au Prince and Caphatian. Sterling Toliver's trip to Haiti. Featured: Haiti today this week this month this year. But my questions about all this is, who is the Hatian Zombie and why is vice talking about it. That is my question without a question mark though however and furthermore along the subject of hatian, could it possibly be somehow related to "the haitian" from heroes who failed to kill sylar but that's okay because sylar turned out to be a good guy at the end of the show which leads me to the conclusion that possibly it could be realited to the video I made called "the zombie cocktail recipe" and from here the situation is looking pretty conclusive. Despite the United Nation's eventual intervention, most of Liberia's young people continue to live in abject poverty, surrounded by filth, drug addiction, and teenage prostitution. The former child soldiers who were forced into war have been left to fend for themselves, the murderous warlords who once led them in cannibalistic rampages have taken up as so-called community leaders, and new militias are lying in wait for the opportunity to reclaim their country from a government they rightly mistrust. The Haitian Revolution has often been described as the largest and most successful slave rebellion in the Western Hemisphere. In 1791, taking advantage of divisions among colonial rulers created by the roiling French Revolution, slaves on the French Caribbean island colony of Saint-Domingue (today's Haiti) rose up en masse, launching the only successful slave rebellion in recorded human history.By 1803 they had succeeded in ending not just slavery but French control over the colony. Timeline of Haitian History : Pre-1492: Prior to European arrival, Arawak-speaking Taíno people inhabited an island they referred to by several names, including Ayiti, or "high land." Numbering roughly 1 million, they were organized into at least five major settlements. 1492 : Christopher Columbus landed near today's city of Cap-Haïtien and claimed the island for Spain, naming it Hispaniola. 1503 : The first Africans were brought to Hispaniola for labor. 1625 : The French settled Tortuga Island and northwestern Hispaniola, naming their colony Saint-Domingue. 1697 : Spain signed the Treaty of Ryswick, under whose terms she ceded the western third of Hispaniola to France. 1749 : The city of Port-au-Prince was founded by Charles Burnier, Marquis of Larnage and named the capital of Saint-Domingue. 1791: Aug. 22, slave revolt begins. Tradition says it starts with a voodoo ceremony led by Dutty Boukman. He is captured and executed, but revolt spreads and plantations are torched. 1794: Feb. 4, French Assembly abolishes slavery in all its colonies, ratifying what is already reality in Saint-Domingue. 1801: Toussaint L'Ouverture defeats British and Spanish troops that invaded Santo Domingo and controls the entire island. 1 January 1804 - Haiti becomes independent, making Haiti an independent Black republic and the second nation-state in the Americas.Former slave Jean-Jacques Dessalines declares himself emperor.

"Haitian multi-hyphenate Richard Senecal’s third outing, about a young woman who must choose between love and money, is a simple moral fable wrapped in beauty. Through Senecal’s DV lens, the entire island, interiors and exteriors alike, are bathed in soft light, looking like the work of a superior art director with an extremely felicitous eye for color. His actors are even more aesthetically pleasing, garbed in pure lines and fabrics. Even the gray school uniforms subtly blend with the surrounding hues. Striking storytelling with an almost folkloric resonance should find a niche on cable." - Ronnie Scheib (Variety Magazine) Camera (color, DV), Senecal; music, Tripping Live and 718 Boyz; sound, John Mogene; assistant director Haendel Dorfeuille. Reviewed on DVD at Brooklyn Film Festival, June 6, 2006. Running time: 106 MIN. With Jessica Geneus, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Soledad Elizabeth Jean, Jerry Lentz Rocher, Rudolph Moise, Roland Dorfeuille. In February 2010, Matthew and Andrew Jones founded Poverty Resolutions with the hope of helping those most affected by the devastating earthquake that had struck Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In May, they set out with two of their friends, Chris Matticola and Jon Rose, to live alongside earthquake refugees in Port-au-Prince for 28 days. They committed to spend just $1 per day per person on food, supplies and drinking water in order to better understand the plight of the Haitian people and learn how best to help. Although they came because of the earthquake, they quickly realized that poverty and a lack of jobs, money, and infrastructure were much greater problems. We invite you to share in their story, and learn with us what life is like for the 1.4 billion people living in extreme poverty. Spread awareness by sharing this video with friends and family on Facebook and Twitter. The Christian Science Monitor 2015-03-20Haiti i/ˈheɪti/ (French: Haïti [aiti]; Haitian Creole Ayiti [ajiti]), officially the Republic of Haiti (République d'Haïti; Repiblik Ayiti), is a Caribbean country. It occupies the western, smaller portion of the island of Hispaniola, in the Greater Antillean archipelago, which it shares with the Dominican Republic. Ayiti (land of high mountains) was the indigenous Taíno or Amerindian name for the island. The country's highest point is Pic la Selle, at 2,680 metres (8,793 ft). The total area of Haiti is 27,750 square kilometres (10,714 sq mi) and its capital is Port-au-Prince. Haitian Creole and French are the official languages.
Haiti's regional, historical, and ethno-linguistic position is unique for several reasons. It was the first independent nation of Latin America and the Caribbean, the first black-led republic in the world, and the second republic in the Americas when it gained independence in 1804 as part of a successful slave revolution lasting nearly a decade. In 2012, Haiti announced its intention to seek associate membership status in the African Union. Haiti is the only predominantly Francophone independent nation in the Americas. It is one of only two independent nations in the Americas (along with Canada) to designate French as an official language; the other French-speaking areas are all overseas départements, or collectivités, of France.
Yes, I'm glad you made it,
'cause I got a lot to say about a little country in the water.
See, they're not so happy on an island in the Caribbean.
The folks, their luck has all run out
and they're drownin' all the opposition.
Travel down this road to the port of Miami,
they're turning them away every day.
And look who's sitting on that city commission,
well they came here not long ago.
And It's the thoughts that cover up a 'weak heart
and that marks a shallow soul.
The front that blocks off the sight of the spectrum of life
tries to polarize the whole...
I guess I'll never know...
If we all came over on a boat,
se você for à festa do pelô
e se você não for
pense no Haiti, reze pelo Haiti
o Haiti é aqui - o Haiti não é aqui
(2X)
e nenhum no marginal

Haiti, mon pays
Wounded mother I'll never see
Ma famille, set me free
Throw my ashes into the sea
Mes cousins jamais nes
Hantent les nuits de Duvalier
Rien n'arrete nos espirits
Guns can't kill what soldiers can't see
In the forest we are hiding
Unmarked graves where flowers grow
Hear the soldiers angry yelling
In the river we will go
Tous les morts-nes forment une armee
Soon we will reclaim the earth
All the tears and all the bodies
Bring about our second birth
Haiti, never free
Wounded mother I'll never see
Ma famille set me free.
Throw my ashes into the sea.
Mes cousins jamais nés
Hantent les nuits de Duvalier.
Rien n'arrte nos esprits.
Guns can't kill what soldiers can't see.
In the forest we are hiding,
Unmarked graves where flowers grow.
Hear the soldiers angry yelling,
In the river we will go.
Tous les morts-nés forment une armée
Soon we will reclaim the earth.
All the tears and all the bodies
Bring about our second birth
Haïti, never free,
In those days their blood was still warm.
Pour le Pays, pour les Ancêtres
Marchons unis, marchons unis
Dans nos rangs point de traîtres
Du sol soyons seuls maîtres
Marchons unis, marchons unis
Pour le Pays, pour les Ancêtres
Marchons, marchons, marchons unis
Pour le Pays, pour les Ancêtres
Pour les Aïeux, pour la Patrie
Béchons joyeux, béchons joyeux
Quand le champ fructifie
L'âme se fortifie
Béchons joyeux, béchons joyeux
Pour les Aïeux, pour la Patrie
Béchons, béchons, béchons joyeux
Pour les Aïeux, pour la Patrie
Pour le Pays et pour nos Pères
Formons des Fils, formons des Fils
Libres, forts et prospères
Toujours nous serons frères
Formons des Fils, formons des Fils
Pour le Pays et pour nos Pères
Formons, formons, formons des Fils
Pour le Pays et pour nos Pères
Pour les Aïeux, pour la Patrie
O Dieu des Preux, O Dieu des Preux
Sous ta garde infinie
Prends nos droits, notre vie
O Dieu des Preux, O Dieu des Preux
Pour les Aïeux, pour la Patrie
O Dieu, O Dieu, O Dieu des Preux
Pour les Aïeux, pour la Patrie
Pour le Drapeau, pour la Patrie
Mourir est beau, mourir est beau
Notre passé nous crie:
Ayez l'âme aguerrie
Mourir est beau, mourir est beau
Pour le Drapeau, pour la Patrie
Mourir, mourir, mourir est beau
Pour le Drapeau, pour la Patrie
