Hugh Ambrose Jennings (April 2, 1869 – February 1, 1928) was a Major League Baseball player and manager from 1891 to 1925. Jennings was a leader, both as a batter and as a shortstop, with the Baltimore Orioles teams that won National League championships in 1894, 1895, and 1896. During the three championship seasons, Jennings had 355 RBIs and hit .335, .386, and .401. Jennings was a fiery, hard-nosed player who was not afraid to be hit by a pitch to get on base. In 1896, he was hit by a pitch 51 times – a major league record that has never been broken. Jennings also holds the career record for being hit by a pitch with 287, with Craig Biggio (who retired in 2007) holding the modern day career record of 285. Jennings also played on the Brooklyn Superbas teams that won National League pennants in 1899 and 1900. From 1907-1920, Jennings was the manager of the Detroit Tigers, where he was known for his colorful antics, hoots, whistles, and his famous shouts of “Ee-Yah” from the third base coaching box. Jennings suffered a nervous breakdown in 1925 that forced him to leave Major League Baseball. He died in 1928 and was posthumously inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1945.

Luke Tyson Fury (born 1 June 1988) is an English professional boxer of Irish heritage who fights in the heavyweight division. Having initially been denied the opportunity to fight for Ireland at the Olympic Games, Fury is now permitted to represent both England and Ireland, after tracing his family lineage to relatives in Belfast. He has represented both his native England and Ireland at amateur level and won the ABA championship in 2008 before turning professional later that year. He is the current Irish heavyweight champion and former British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion.

Fury was born in Wilmslow, Cheshire, England to Irish Traveller parents. Tyson's family has a long history in boxing and bare knuckle boxing. His father is from Tuam, County Galway and his maternal grandmother is from County Tipperary. He is a cousin of fellow Irish boxer Andy Lee. His father named him "Tyson" after the then world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.

As an amateur, Fury represented both Ireland and England. Fury represented Ireland three times at international level. He initially fought out of the Holy Family Boxing Club in Belfast, Northern Ireland and later switched to the Smithboro Club in County Monaghan in the Republic of Ireland. In a double international duel against an experienced Polish team in 2007, the Irish team lost 12-6 overall; Fury, however, was victorious in both his fights in Rzeszów and Białystok. In another Irish match against the USA, Fury won his bout by knock-out.

Alexander "The Great" Ustinov (Russian: Александр Устинов, born December 7, 1976) is a Russian super heavyweight kickboxer, boxer and mixed martial artist.

In 2003 after winning K-1 Moscow Grand Pix with three consecutive KO's Alexander Ustinov earned his spot at the K-1 World Grand Prix 2003 in Paris. In quarter finals he met Gregory Tony and won the fight by 2 round TKO. In semis he stepped into the ring against his own sparring partner Alexey Ignashov and after the hard fought battle the judges ruled the fight for Ignashov's favor.

In December 2003 he continued his strong performances at the tournaments winning the K-1 Spain GP in Barcelona.

On August 7, 2004 Alexander Ustinov was invited to participate at K-1 World GP 2004 Battle of Bellagio II. On his biggest tournament of his career, he was matched up against the towering South African fighter Jan "The Giant" Nortje. Alexander Ustinov won the battle but unfortunately was unable to continue due to a deep laceration on his shin and was replaced by the American Scott Lighty.
