I have been in a legal battle for well over a year now. Due to this divorce I have lost not only everything that I worked for, but I also have now had my PTSD & TBI used against me, when the family court ordered my records and shared them with the opposing attorney. Now, I am being accused of being a dangerous person due to my condition. This has cost me time with my children, who are my life now, and devastated my case. I have had to have psychiatric evaluations due to this disclosure, and now I'm being charged with the cost of these evaluations, although my soon to be Ex stated she would pay for them during the court proceedings. I also have been made homeless. My wife made me move out of my home that I hold the VA loan in my name on and proceeded to rent it out to another family, instead of letting me live in a home where I can afford the payment and my children feel comfortable during these turbulent times (during the visitation times I do get). Not only does she rent my home to another family, but she also keeps the proceeds from the rental amount. I have been able to figure out my budget ,and after child support, garnishment of retirement to soon to be Ex wife, court ordered alimony in place of giving her a year of my GI Bill, court ordered parenting coordinator ($150 an hour), medical insurance, court ordered reimbursement for phych evaluations, paying her attorney (court ordered) and my standard bills for living I am negative $580 every month. I can provide a chart if needed. I would greatly appreciate any help that you can offer as I find myself in a dire situation. My children are my life, and now I can not even afford to pay the 3rd party driver that the court has assigned to see them. I am not allowed at the school due to an order of protection where I was never given the opportunity to state my side of the case. This means I can not see my son graduate from kindergarten or my daughter for her end of the year events. I am at the end of my rope and feel as though I can not get anything to work out for me. I never envisioned after my career was over that I would be put in a situation where my many tours start to sound like a welcomed break from the barrage of accusations and financial hardships that I have to face alone now. Any and all donations that you can give will go to help pay the lawyer I need to represent me... so that I will not continue to lose everything I have worked for, so we can reverse many of the court's errors in rewarding my Ex wife my benefits, and so that I can be a part of my children’s lives. Professional photographer Peter Hurley and psychologist Anna Rowley have devised a simple way to overcome your fear of the camera lens. They call this unique combination of their two disciplines “psyphotology,” and what they’ve learned can help us shift our perspective away from judgment and criticism and toward better self-acceptance. Anna Rowley is a consulting psychologist who works with senior executives and their teams helping them become more resilient and more effective. Over the last twenty years she has brought her brand of psychotherapy out of the consulting room and into the corner offices of many multi-national technology companies in North and South America, Europe, and India. She has been an embedded psychologist with corporations such as Microsoft, Yahoo, LinkedIn, and is currently working with GoDaddy. Prior to founding her own company, she was director of research at the Institute of Child Health in London. She has published a number of scientific papers and her book, ‘Leadership Therapy’ describes her unique approach to executive coaching and leadership development. Anna received her PhD from London University. In March 2013 she founded Psyphotology with photographer Peter Hurley. She describes herself as an agitator for personal and organizational change. While training for the 1996 Olympic games in the sport of sailing, Peter Hurley met a designer for DKNY who sent him down a whirlwind path that landed him with a camera in his hands. He first found himself in front of the lens modeling for the likes of Ralph Lauren and Abercrombie & Fitch. During this time, his friend and mentor, Bruce Weber, encouraged him to pick up a camera. Within six months Peter booked his first commercial work photographing shoes for Reebok. Due to his experience, technique, and engaging personality, Peter has developed a particular forte of bringing out the best in his subjects. He has focused his attention on perfecting the art of the headshot and recently began sharing this unique craft. His techniques have been featured in The New York Times and millions have enjoyed his self-produced YouTube series explaining how to look more photogenic while having your picture taken. He has spoken on the subject with Fortune 500 companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Apple. Peter is most proud of the portraits he photographed for the New York exhibition of “The Vilcek Foundation Celebrates LOST” where he traveled to Hawaii to shoot the cast and crew as they wrapped up their final season. Peter currently resides in Manhattan with his lovely wife and beautiful twin daughters. Lisa Hegwood joins Pete to tell the story of a family being threatened by the United States Air-force if they do not relinquish their family owned mine and sell to the United States Government. Once again things are heating up in Nevada and it has nothing to do with the weather! Stay tuned to The Pete Santilli Show because the Sheahan Family Mine (The Groom Mine) is about to become a household name. Most people have probably heard of the secret base -- hidden in the Nevada desert -- known as Area 51. But, what you may not know is that there is a privately owned lead and silver mine overlooking the classified base. "From our great-great-grandfather, to our grandfathers, to our fathers, they were raised there," said Joe Sheahan, Groom Mine co-owner. "This was their home." The Groom Mine has been in the Sheahan family for 130 years. Since military testing started in the mid 50's, the family has had one of the nation's most closely guarded secrets literally in their backyard. They have never spoken about it publicly -- until now. "First, we really didn't want to come public, but the Air Force has forced us into it. We want 'em to know what they have done over the last 60 years to our family is not acceptable," said Dan Sheahan, Groom Mine co-owner. "These were fired over our property. The bullets, the cases dropped on the ground right there and then." The Sheahans say their buildings have been strafed and bombed by military jets over the past six decades. They believe it was an errant bomb or dropped wing tank that blew up their mill in the 1950's -- ending production at the mine. Now, in what the Sheahans consider the final insult in a litany of abuse, they are being given an ultimatum by the Air Force. They must accept a $5.2 million buyout for the 400 acres in their possession or face having the land condemned and taken through eminent domain. "I mean, that's really what we're talking about," said Joe Sheahan. "Is it okay to bomb your citizens, hold 'em at gunpoint and then -- just to add insult to injury -- just steal their property?" The Sheahans say the Air Force offer doesn't even cover the value of the minerals in the mine -- let alone the family's close connection to the land -- where forbearers not only toiled -- but died. "Either give us our property, leave us alone, or pay us what you owe us," Joe Sheahan added. But I'm so glad that I could witness and capture such a beautiful moment. This has to be one of the most amazing experience so far on this channel. I did not only just help a homeless man, but I actually met an incredible human being and a friend. We were following him for a couple miles for almost an hour or so. Later that day we took him out to eat and got him a hotel to stay. The more I talk to him, the more I sense how genuine he is.... I gave him my number and told him to call me when he needs help. This again proof that not all the homeless people are bad people. Never judge a book by its cover. A Year Ago, I Made A Mistake. I accepted, and then asked for money to help Furious with his surgery. It was a mistake for me to do that. I shouldn't have, but I did, and I have been dealing with the consequences ever since. I was also called a fraud, stating that I asked for money for a surgery that never took place and then used that money to go on a vacation to Italy, when in fact I got flown by Guinness World Records to perform on a Television Show (That is part of my regular job). With the following I have, and the years I spent building up my name and brand, without sounding arrogant, if I wanted to commit fraud I would have asked for a lot more if I was going to destroy my name. I am sorry for what I did in a time of frustration, but we all make mistakes, and I've been dealing with this mistake for a long time now. Again, I'm sorry for my mistake, and I thank those that have stuck with me. The American outfit finished with the minimum of five riders with Peter Velits leading them over the line to take the first red jersey. Being world champions, that gives us a certain responsibility to put it out on the line and go for it," Tejay van Garderen said at the end of the stage. "The tactic that we had was perfect. On a course like this you can’t really go much faster with more than five guys so we picked five guys to bring it to the end and we had three guys to line it out from the start and do a one kilo effort full gas and pull off. Then the five guys at the end hammered it to the line. To be honest, I don’t remember much of it, it went by so quickly. We’re super happy with the win and I couldn’t be happier for Peter Velits to take the jersey." BMC were the fifth from last team to roll down the start ramp as the sun began to fall in the sky and the temperatures became just about bearable. There was no time in the general classification at risk but pride and a stage victory was at stake over the 7.4-kilometre time trial. It was clear from the off that BMC were going for it and they were soon down to just five riders. As they approached the final straight, it looked like they might have been outdone but they squeezed past Tinkoff-Saxo by an impossibly small margin. BMC also won the Tour de France team time trial in July by a similarly small gap over Team Sky, but this time they didn’t have a tense wait as all the teams after them went slower. In fact, there was less than a second separating the top three, with Orica-GreenEdge just half a second behind Tinkoff-Saxo. It was another disappointment for Peter Sagan who led the Tinkoff team over the line and would have worn the red jersey. Instead, he was given a familiar reward of the green jersey. "For us it was ok. It was a little bit technical, a little bit narrow roads, a bit like Strade Bianche but it was good. We tried and for one second, maybe because of my name, we finished second again," Sagan joked after stepping on the podium. It was a scorching start to the day for the early riders, with MTN-Qhubeka kicking things off. The South African team set a solid time but that was soon beaten by LottoNL-Jumbo who set the first serious looking time of 8:18. Their benchmark would stand for quite some time, until Orica-GreenEdge beat them by seven seconds. The Australian team’s arrival marked the halfway point and they would be happy to see pre-stage favourites Trek Factory Racing come over the line in provisional fourth place. Orica-GreenEdge were only able to enjoy their time at the top for 10 minutes before Tinkoff-Saxo shoved them off by only half a second. Etixx-QuickStep had designs on taking the victory but they failed and there were some cross words between the teammates after the finish line. Just when Tinkoff-Saxo thought they might be about to take the stage win, BMC slipped in to beat them by a a second. The remaining teams, Astana, Movistar, Sky and Katusha were all content with making it home in one piece. None of them threatened the race lead, with Sky finishing in a time of 9:21. For them, the real race will begin in Sunday with the first mountain stage.
