a BEAUTIFUL space filled with super high quality records. they tend to stick with jazz and a few other genres only so dont come around expecting to find anything too obscure style wise. they also do not trifle with anything below a certain quality standard so you will pay a premium but youll get grade A type stuff. honestly speaking, this is not my kind of record store and i did not buy anything when i was there but i commend their commitment to excellence.

This is my favorite record store in Chicago! So clean and organized and full of hip hop, r&b and rap! They recently had a sidewalk sale and all CDs and records were 50 cents. I scored some classics for a great price!

It's always good to come here to find vinyl and the obscure artists that major chain would not be familiar with. Also, DG gets in a lot of classic re-issues such as Roy Ayers and various jazz artists. Hard to find box-sets could be discovered there as well. Recommend for music enthusiasts and vinyl fans alike!

At the end of my street is a treasure trove of random/awesome music. A lot of people cruise past or don't know about it because it's off of the beaten Milwaukee Ave hipster path. Dusty Groove is work a look though, especially if you're into hip hop, R&B or legit Chicago house. Most record stores put a focus on 'indie" music and introspective guitars—not so here. Walk the half block south of Division and have a look-see.

Good Resource for Chicago. I'm always able to find something i didn't expect, and also something i'd been looking for. They have some great south american vinyl too
