Rumors are circulating too fast to acurately report the current news. It appears that Ben Ali is no longer in power and the Tunisian Army is now in control. Please visit http://english.aljazeera.net/ for the lastest update. ---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------- Demonstrations and mass protests broke out in the African country of Tunisia on December 17, 2010 when 26 year old Mohamed Bouazizi, an unemployed university graduate was trying to support himself by selling fruit and vegetables in the city of Sidi Bouzid. Police approached Mr. Bouazizi, telling him he did not have the proper permission and confiscated his entire stock. Bouazizi then, in an act of desperation and outrage, set himself on fire in the city streets in a grim demonstration against his Government's policies. He died as a result of his burns on January 4th 2011. Protesters and demonstrators took to the streets shortly afterward, enraged at the county's rising cost of living, high unemployment rate, media blackouts brought on by the Government, and its mass censorship of the internet and other media sources. The official death toll so far has been said to be just over 20, but the International Federation of Human Rights has said the death toll is at least 66 in the last month alone. Reports sent by protesters show thousands of Tunisians taking to the streets in the country's capital and also report brutal incidents with both Police Forces, and the regime's Special Forces, the B.O.P. (...) ANONYMOUS encourages police officers and army personnel to refuse to fire on citizens, and to join the fight for liberty. (...) When governments prevent people from having decent living condition, and prevent them from expressing their anger, it must be expected that the people will fight to overthrow and take power for themselves. In Tunisia, as elsewhere, ANONYMOUS will give an active support to such a struggle. In response to the unrest, the Tunisian Government has reportedly fired the Interior Minister, and are trying to secure Tunis City by stationing soldiers and imposing a strict curfew on its citizens there. Additionally, they have fired the Chief of Staff of the Army, General Rashid Ammar because he reportedly refused to order the soldiers to quell the riots and expressed reservations about the excessive use of force perpetrated against demonstrators. In order to break the strike in the schools and the universities, the Tunisian government decided to close the entire educational system indefinitely. Ben Ali, the Tunisian president, is now doing everything he can to save himself, his family and the corrupt politicians he surrounds himself with. He and his cronies are the source of the problems Tunisian citizens are facing. He tries to solve the resistance to his tyranny by firing on his citizens. He tries to combat dissent with censorship and threats. Protesters throw rocks, and the police respond with bullets. However, brute force cannot kill an ideology. The Tunisian revolt won't be so easy to stop. ANONYMOUS is struggling against those who, like Ben Ali, want people to shut up. Refuse to be silenced! Refuse to accept the repression! Rise up! Rise up and fight for your freedom and the freedom of the citizens of the world! ANONYMOUS is not a small sectarian terrorist group. ANONYMOUS is the gathering, the collective consciousness, of those who want to fight for freedom on the web. It is a common banner freely available to all who stand against oppression and censorship. YOU are ANONYMOUS. Your family, your friends, anybody around you, could be ANONYMOUS. Join the fight! ANONYMOUS needs more ideas! ANONYMOUS needs more fighters! Join the IRC ! And remember: We are ANONYMOUS. We are Legion. We do not Forgive. We do not Forget. EXPECT US.

EXCLUSIVE: VICE News Meets Barack Obama: http://bit.ly/1wT03Bi The Islamic State, a hardline Sunni jihadist group that formerly had ties to al Qaeda, has conquered large swathes of Iraq and Syria. Previously known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the group has announced its intention to reestablish the caliphate and has declared its leader, the shadowy Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, as the caliph. The lightning advances the Islamic State made across Syria and Iraq in June shocked the world. But it's not just the group's military victories that have garnered attention — it's also the pace with which its members have begun to carve out a viable state. Flush with cash and US weapons seized during its advances in Iraq, the Islamic State's expansion shows no sign of slowing down. In the first week of August alone, Islamic State fighters have taken over new areas in northern Iraq, encroaching on Kurdish territory and sending Christians and other minorities fleeing as reports of massacres emerged. VICE News reporter Medyan Dairieh spent three weeks embedded with the Islamic State, gaining unprecedented access to the group in Iraq and Syria as the first and only journalist to document its inner workings. 27 candidates are competing for the top job. Current President Moncef Marzouki and former prime minister Beji Caid Essebsi, whose Nidaa Tounes party won last month's parliamentary elections, are the main rivals. Others include ministers from the previous regime. A runoff will be held at the end of December if none secures an absolute majority. Polls will be open for ten hours in most regions. But officials have limited voting in areas close to the Algerian border to only five hours, fearing possible militant attacks. Press TV's Correspondent Adnen Chaouchi gives us more details. Tunisia is located only a few kilometres away from Sicily, the Roman influence is therefore still very obvious. In 800BC the Punic Tunis was only a small village in a shadow of Carthage. Today, Tunis is a modern city with 1,2 Million inhabitants. Where ever we look the Tunisian flag hoisted everywhere. The five columns of Islam, the state religion of Tunisia, are symbolized by a pentacle . The Muslims believe in God being the only one and Mohammad being his prophet. The teaching of Allah calls the faithful to pray, to fast, to give alms and to make pilgrimage to Mecca.

Two consecutive African Berbers Kingdoms once conquered a vast area from northern Spain to deep in the African Sahara. Only to be destroyed by outside forces of the Christian Spain and Arab east. The Almoravids went from being desert nomads to empire builders. Gus Casely-Hayford describes how they managed to control not just the trans-Saharan gold trade, but the key to life itself. Underground irrigation channels, called khettara, ensured they could move the precious resource to where it was needed. The Berbers or the Amazighs ⵉⵎⴰⵣⵉⵖⴻⵏ are the ethnicity indigenous to North Africa west of the Nile Valley. They are distributed from the Atlantic Ocean to the Siwa Oasis in Egypt, and from the Mediterranean Sea to the Niger River. Historically they spoke Berber languages, which together form the "Berber branch" of the Afro-Asiatic language family. Since the Muslim conquest of North Africa in the seventh century, a large portion of Berbers have spoken varieties of Maghrebi Arabic, either by choice or obligation. After the invasion of north Africa by France people were "not only forced to speak French but that access to every non-French language was forbidden as well. Especially in school, Algerians were forced to speak French instead of their previous mother tongues; this included classical Arabic, the Berber language and all of its dialects. Algerians were required to speak a single language, French".[5] Foreign languages like French and Spanish, inherited from former European colonial powers, are used by most educated Berbers in Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia in some formal contexts such as higher education or business. Today, most of the Berber people live in Northern African countries such as Algeria and Morocco; a large Berber population is also found in Tunisia, Libya, Mauritania, Mali and Niger, as well as large migrant communities living in France, Turkey and other countries of Europe. The Berber identity is usually wider than language and ethnicity, and encompasses the entire history and geography of North Africa. Berbers are not an entirely homogeneous ethnicity and they encompass a range of phenotypes, societies and ancestries. The unifying forces for the Berber people may be their shared language, belonging to the Berber homeland, or a collective identification with the Berber heritage and history. Linguistically speaking, there are some twenty-five to thirty million Berber speakers in North Africa. The number of ethnic Berbers (including non-Berber speakers) is far greater, as it is known that a large part of the Berbers have acquired other languages, over the course of many decades or centuries, and no longer speak Berber today. Berbers call themselves some variant of the word i-Mazigh-en, possibly meaning "free people" or "free and noble men". The word has probably an ancient parallel in the Roman and Greek names for some of the Berbers, "Mazices". Some of the best known of the ancient Berbers are the Numidian king Masinissa, king Jugurtha, the Berber-Roman author Apuleius, Saint Augustine of Hippo, and the Berber-Roman general Lusius Quietus, who was instrumental in defeating the major wave of Jewish revolts of 115–117. Dihya or Kahina was a female Berber religious and military leader who led a fierce Berber resistance against the Arab-Muslim expansion in North-West Africa. Kusaila was a seventh-century leader of the Awraba tribe of the Berber people and head of the Sanhadja confederation. Famous Berbers of the Middle Ages include Yusuf ibn Tashfin, king of the Berber Almoravid empire; Tariq ibn Ziyad the general who conquered Hispania; Abbas Ibn Firnas, a prolific inventor and early pioneer in aviation; Ibn Battuta, a medieval explorer who traveled the longest known distances in antiquity; and Estevanico, an early explorer of the Americas. Well-known modern Berbers in Europe include Zinedine Zidane, a French-born international football star of Algerian Kabyle descent, Loreen the Swedish-born winner of Eurovision 2012 and Ibrahim Afellay, a Dutch-born football player of Moroccan Riffian descent. In historical times, the Berbers expanded south into the Sahara (displacing earlier populations such as the Azer and Bafour), and have in turn been mainly culturally assimilated in much of North Africa by Arabs, particularly following the incursion of the Banu Hilal in the eleventh century. However much of Berber culture is still celebrated among the cultural elite in Morocco, and Algeria, a precedent set as early as Ibn Khaldun in the 14th century. The areas of North Africa which retained the Berber language and traditions best have been, in general, Morocco, highlands of Algeria (Kabylie, Aurès et cetera) most of which in Roman and Ottoman times remained largely independent. The Ottomans did penetrate the Kabylie area; Turkish influence can be seen in food, clothes and music, and to places the Phoenicians never penetrated, far beyond the coast.

As the Temporary Financing Mechanism (TFM) winds down its operations this film goes behind the scenes with the TFM's representative in Tunisia. Under its Global Health Plan the TFM has covered the hospital and medical bills of over 4000 patients internationally, in countries such as Austria, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia and Sweden. Set up during the revolution during exceptional circumstances, the TFM's role comes to a natural end with the formation of the Libyan interim government who will take on the implementation of the TFM's programmes through the different ministries. Tunisians put an end to 23 years of brutal dictatorship. It was a moment of intense hope. But we were all too soon brought back to reality. The entire country went on strike and economic activity was soon left to a standstill. The advertising industry, like many others, was completely stuck. We needed to find a way to encourage the people to get back to work and start rebuilding the country we had all fought for.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has today honoured six women for their remarkable contribution to women’s participation, both on the field of play and within sports administration. The IOC 2014 “Women and Sport” trophies were presented at a ceremony held during the 127th IOC Session in Monaco. Meriem Cherni Mizouni has devoted her life to developing women’s sport. A talented swimmer from a young age, she was the first woman to compete on a Tunisian Olympic team, at the 1976 Games in Montreal, and became the idol of a whole nation thanks to her achievements at national and international level. After her swimming career ended, Mizouni became a coach for young swimmers and travelled around the country to increase girls’ interest in sport, and swimming in particular. She has held a number of leadership positions, including Secretary of State for Sports and Chair of the Tunisian NOC’s Women and Sport Commission, organising events such as the Women’s Sport Night, which attracted thousands of women and girls across the country. The Women and Sport Commission has done a great deal of work with female leaders and former women athletes to strengthen their position on the NOC’s Board which today boasts four female members. Also, thanks to Mizouni’s work, since 2012, Tunisian national sports federations have been required to employ female national technical advisers, who are responsible for the development of women’s sport. As Secretary of State for Sports, Mizouni took several major decisions aimed at strengthening the presence of women in administrative and decision-making structures. The candidature process for the 2015 edition of these awards is already open. The IOC invites all the NOCs, IFs or continental associations to put forward a person or association active in promoting gender equality and the presence of women in their sport or country. Phoebe Ngai is a student at Hong Kong Polytechnic University (香港理工大學) and in Summer 2014 she went to Tunisia for a 6 weeks volunteer exchange. She assisted a local NGO's educators in the kindergarten during the week throughout the classes, hoping the participants can develop cultural understanding and diversity through assistance. What was the impact that she created? "The teachers there made effort also in communicating with me through google translate or dictionary it felt really warm. We taught each other Arabic and English and on my last day, one of the teachers was able to communicate with me in basic English without any dictionary and I was so proud of her." "I also represented my own city among all the exchange participants, some of them have not even heard about Hong Kong. I introduced our country, about our food, transportation, education as well as our technology and they were all overwhelmed about the advancement of our city. I actually bought in some new ideas to them in terms of improving their living styles in other countries. As silly as this may sound but I introduced the machine 'rice-cooker' to Serbians, they have no idea about it. They were amazed by our city as well as by me, as I showed them a different side of how an Asian behaves, I was open-minded and willing to share my views with all the time."
During International Education week I gave six presentations . Two of them were presented on Wednesday the 19th of November In English and Civic class . Then , the Civic teacher was impressed by the presentation and she asked me to do it for all her classes on Friday . So , I did four presentation on Friday . As a result , the audience was huge . It was approximately 140 people and composed of students ,teachers and school stuff . I did a presentation with Prezi which is an online website that enables you to do presentations . Also , I made a poster where I glued some pictures and notes about Tunisia . Besides , I cooked Tunisian food for my host family and the audience . It was the best part ever because I've never cooked in my life . It took me a long time to do it. I was actually Skyping with my mom who showed me how to cook it . The audience was focusing well on my presentation because they knew that there's a quiz in the end and gifts for winners which was funny . They learned about location , tourism , food , clothes , dances , revolution , religion and Languages of Tunisia . I wrote their names in Arabic and they really loved it . There is even a girl who decided to do her name in Arabic as a tattoo when she will grow up . In addition , I learned a lot of things too . My speech skills were improved a lot thanks to speak in front of a lot of people who i don't know . Also , I learned more about American culture too . It was the best week ever. —Dammak (YES, Tunisia)

Travel video about destination Tunisia. Tunis is a North African city with a long history. After the Hasfides and Osmans, the Spanish Moors came but then had to give way to French colonial rule until present day Independence. In the old town, there are more than 700 historic monuments which include 200 palaces, a colourful variety of buildings and numerous mosques.Among shoreline lava rock is the entrance to the Ghar El-Kebir, a collection of sandstone grottos. During Roman times, thousands of slaves were forced to bring building material for Carthage and El Djem from subterranean shafts. In Sousse, the simple fort of Ribat is probably the oldest Islamic building in North Africa, in which Muslim soldiers lived in monastery-like isolation and in the town’s Archaeological Museum there is a fantastic range of mosaics, predominantly from Punic and Roman excavations. Gabes is an oasis town which overflows with luxuriant floral splendour. By horse and carriage visitors can travel through one of the most beautiful maritime oases in Tunisia where, under 500,000 date palms, tobacco, henna, pumpkins, apricots and bananas thrive. The focal point of important caravan routes and trading centre for goods from Libya and Black Africa, Medenine is a very charming and lively city. Its reinforced honeycomb-shaped caves were the extraordinary-looking buildings that many will recall from the film ‘Star Wars’. The Sahara is the largest desert on earth, with different landscapes such as rock deserts, salt deserts and serene oases. Kebili is located on the edge of a huge salt lake and is a typical desert village with a green oasis and Artesian springs which provide water for its fruit and vegetable gardens. Nefta is also a green paradise in the desert, an oasis town that boasts no less than 152 Artesian wells. Dougga contains Tunisia’s most important ruins which nestle in the hills among shimmering olive trees and poppy fields. Endless deserts and fertile oases, busy towns and isolated mountain regions, Roman temples and Muslim mosques: Tunisia is tempting!

Tunisisa was established by the Phoenicians, but during its eventful history it belonged to the Roman Empire, was under Spanish, Turkish and Arab influences, and later under the French rule. Its architecture, art and culture all reflect this diversity. The ruins of the ancient metropolis of Carthage, the sand beaches of Hammamet, the old town of Tunis, the bazaars of Sousse, the mystical salt lake, the treasures of the Bardo Museum, the cave houses of Matmata, the palm trees of Tozeur, the bay and fish market of Kelibia, the Roman amphitheatre of El Djem, the blue and white houses of Sidi bou Said, the minarets, the oases of Chebika, the monumental buildings of the Ribats, the camels and the modern luxury hotels all are parts of the colorful mosaic, which is called Tunisia. -------------- Watch more travel videos ► http://goo.gl/HYQdhg Join us. Travel video about destination Tunis in Tunisia. Tunis is the capital of Tunisia and this 'Paris' of North Africa is a metropolis with a long history. In the centre of the medina, the domed roof of the souk encircles the Olive-Tree Mosque, the spiritual centre of the old town. The central market district dates back to the Hafsid and Early Christian period. Here, there's something for everyone, many of the goods being skillfully crafted under the watchful eye of prospective purchasers. While strolling through the markets, it's like being part of an Arabian fairy-tale with all the magic of the One Thousand and One Nights. The tall, octagonal minaret of the Sidi Youssef Dey Mosque is an example of Tunisia's earliest Syric building design and opposite is the Dar-el-Bey, former palace of the Turkish monarchs. Dar Ben Abdallah is a splendid palace that dates back to the 18th century and since 1975, has incorporated a folklore museum that is well worth a visit. A large cool courtyard is dominated by a central marble fountain that is surrounded by both residential and official rooms. The lavish lifestyle of the 19th century is on full display in numerous rooms with precious furniture and crystal chandeliers, as well as beautifully attired life-size dolls. Today, Bardo is an elegant suburb of villas but in the 19th century, the Turkish Beys built their palace district within it. The former harem today contains the majestic Bardo Museum. Tunis has all the wonderful atmosphere of this region's historic and colorful past.
Take a tour of El Jem Amphitheatre in El Jem, Tunisia -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats. The town of El Jem, Tunisia contains an abundance of remnants from the Roman Empire. Still only half-exposed above Tunisian sands, El Jem Amphitheater attests to the legacy of ancient Roman rule. The amphitheater's towering colonnades were meant to impress visitors centuries ago, as they impress visitors today. This amphitheater is the third largest of its time, after the Colosseum in Rome and the Capua theatre. In ancient Roman times, the amphitheater was used for public spectacle fights featuring chariot races and gladiator battles. Visitors can walk the amphitheater's expansive 427 meter circumference and tour the varying levels from spectator seating to the dungeon.

World Tube https://www.youtube.com/user/World1Tube Tunisia Travel Guide http://bit.ly/19OVCsF Visit Kairouan in Tunisia Kairouan is a holy city. The name originates from the word caravan. According to the legend, the conquering Arabian General Uqba ibn Nafi stopped his caravan here. The city is a popular destination for pilgrims and it's said that one pilgrimage to Kairouan equals a pilgrimage to Mecca. There are not only pilgrims into today's Kairouan which is still an important trade center but also tourists. There's a majestic Islamic cemetery in the city which is worth seeing. There's the well of Bir Barouta where a camel pulls up the water and there is also the thousand year old bath of Algabitas. The main pool has a diameter of 120 meters while the middle pillar suggests that there was a pavilion surrounding it in case the Emir wanted to cool down a bit. The carpet factories of the city are known in the whole country. The classic patterns resemble the ornaments of the great mosque. The cross of Kairouan motif is surrounded by a honeycomb like a flame. Most of the carpets available are Berber but there are also modern patterns which are based upon the assumed taste of European tourists. Whichever one chooses, one must not forget that the more knots there are in one square meter, the more valuable the carpet is. The hand crafted carpets contained from 10 to 30,000 knots. A carpet containing 250,000 knots is almost priceless. Similar to almost everything, the price is reached after considerable bargain. The buyer is expected to bargain. The price is usually around 60% of the first offer. Obviously, it's easier to get a discount if you buy a larger amount. The carpets are folded into small packages, so it's easily transportable by air as well. World Tube https://www.youtube.com/user/World1Tube Tunisia Travel Guide http://bit.ly/19OVCsF Shepherd Entertainment takes you on a tour of Matmata in Tunisia, which was named after a Berber tribe. While fleeing from their Arabian invasion, Berbers wanted to find a new home that was well hidden and also protected them from the scorching sun. They created these cave homes which are somewhat similar to the cave dwellings of the Greeks in Santorini. These caves carved in limestone are as durable as the ones carved in basalt. The locals were called Troglodytes which means, Cave Dweller. Matmata is named after a Berber tribe. While fleeing from their Arabian invasion, Berbers wanted to find a new home that was well hidden and also protected them from the scorching sun. So they created these cave homes which are somewhat similar to the cave dwellings of the Greeks in Santorini. These caves carved in limestone are as durable as the ones carved in basalt. The locals were called Troglodytes which means, "Cave Dweller". They were related to the natives of the desert but they chose to settle down instead of remaining a nomadic wandering tribe. They carved their caves which are cold during summer and warm in the winter. The round shaped open yard is a community area like the patio in Spain. The kitchen and the rooms of the family members are accessible from here. There are homes which have a workshop so it's not unusual that the yard opens on to at least ten rooms. The women cook over fires and stash isn't that common and they earn money weaving carpets. There, many men are potters usually working at home. The modern era can be seen here as well in the form of radios and small televisions. Tourism also earns them some money. Some of them not only show their homes to the visitors but also offer a room for the night. It's no surprise that most of them don't want to move to the new flats offered to them by the government. This place not only draws tourist but also the movie industry. Some scenes from the Star Wars Trilogy were shot here. The remaining sets are now tourist attractions, but there were other movies filmed here as well. Tunisia tourist attractions are on the top list of the worlds' places worth seeing. Sahara dunes, ancient ruins, exotic cities are an integral part of this magical land. The cultural and historical weight makes real all the abstract and vague beliefs about Roman gods and goddesses. Tunisia is also famous for its Arab architecture: the mixture of the two cultures creates a certain atmosphere of serenity. The most popular Tunisia tourist attractions are the ruins of Carthage, El Djem Amphitheatre, Bardo Museum and Ezzitouna Mosque. Discover more in this fascinating video!

Tunisia is often described as the only Arab revolution success story. Three years after the uprising which brought down the dictator Zain al Abidin Ben Ali the country is transitioning into a multi-party democracy. But all is far from rosy in this north African nation. Unemployment is high; divisions between secularists and Islamic parties are acute; and a takfiri security threat poses a persistent problem.Roshan Muhammed Salih travels to Tunisia during the first round of the country’s presidential elections to find out whether national reconciliation is possible or if the revolution has simply run out of steam.
The Arab Spring’s legacy so far comprises bloody conflicts in Libya and Syria, and a return to military rule in Egypt. Just one of the countries in question has avoided a similar fate: Tunisia, where the region’s uprisings began back in early 2011. It is hoped the upcoming elections will see a further advance towards stability and democratic governance. Will Tunisia actually succeed where its neighbors failed - and become the first genuine democracy in the Arab world? France24 2015-03-20Tunisia (US i/tuːˈniːʒə/ two-NEE-zhə or UK /tjuːˈnɪziə/ tew-NIZ-iə; Arabic: تونس Tūnis pronounced [ˈtuːnɪs]), officially the Republic of Tunisia (Arabic: الجمهورية التونسية al-Jumhūriyyah at-Tūnisiyyah), is the northernmost country in Africa. It is an Arab Maghreb country and is bordered by Algeria to the west, Libya to the southeast, and the Mediterranean Sea to the north and east. Its area is almost 165,000 square kilometres (64,000 sq mi), with an estimated population of just under 10.7 million. Its name is derived from the capital Tunis located in the northeast.
Tunisia is the smallest country in North Africa. The south of the country is composed of the Sahara desert, with much of the remainder consisting of particularly fertile soil and 1,300 kilometres (810 mi) of coastline.
Tunisia has relations with both the European Union—with whom it has an association agreement—and the Arab world. Tunisia is also a member of the Arab Maghreb Union, the Arab League, and the African Union. Tunisia has established close relations with France in particular, through economic cooperation, industrial modernization, and privatisation programs.
It's a cold world, sometimes I feel all alone
It's a long road, that I'm rolling on
And I wonder, if I'm on the path I should have taken
And I'm still here, even though my heart is breakin'
Chorus: Someday I'm gonna find what I'm looking for
Someday I'll find my place in this world
Someday I'm gonna know why I'm here
When I find, what I'm looking for
It's a big old world, and sometimes I lose my way
But I keep searching, and I get closer every day
I can't look back, and I can't go back in time
I gotta move one, and leave the past behind
Don't expect too much from my poor old heart
You can blame the unforgiven for my scars
You might just be the best that I can find
But I can't seem.....
To forget the tears I've cried
Chorus: I don't know that I will ever love again
It's the price that I must pay for all my sins
Time has changed me and left me full of doubt
and my heart may be lost, never to be found
Once upon a time I did believe
In my true love that swept me off my feet
Then the winds of change swept him away
And left me drowning.....
In my pain
Her daddy raised tobacco
He was a hard workin' man
There was kindness in his smile
And there was strength in his hands
She can't remember much about him
Just his name makes her smile
He was supposed to live forever
And it was hard to say goodbye
Chorus: Some days are like a train
Gently rolling through a sleepy Southern town
Other days are filled with pain
Knowing she can't tell him just how much she loves him now
And she knows he knew she loved him
Still she aches for him to see what she's become
What gets her through the day,
Is knowing he is waiting there to meet her on the other side of home
She's a small town singer
Winning fans with her smile
She sings of tears and heartaches
And he is always on her mind
She steals the hearts of strangers
One song at a time
He never knew that much about her
He never got to see her sparkle in the lights
Chorus: Some days are like a train
Gently rolling through a sleepy Southern town
Other days are filled with pain
Knowing she can't tell him just how much she loves him now
And she knows he knew she loved him
Still she aches for him to see what she's become
What finally gets her through the day,
Is knowing he will hear her sing like an angel on the other side of home
Blew out the candles and made a wish
And I hoped it would come true
I had a feeling, that I was dreaming
When I wished for you
Chorus: I wish that you were here
I wish you could see my tears
And I wish I was on your mind,
But if wishes were horses, dreamers would ride
Tossed a penny, in the well
And I closed my eyes
I told no one, what I wished for
When I wished that you were mine
Chorus: I wish that you were here
I wish you could see my tears
And I wish you missed me tonight
But if wishes were horses, dreamers would ride
Made a wish upon a star
As the sun went down
Like the star I'd be in Heaven
If you were with me now
Chorus: I wish that you were here
I wish you could see my tears
And I wish I was on your mind,
Have you ever, felt the sting of a broken heart?
Were you watching, while your whole world fell apart?
Have you wondered, how things might have been?
But aint it funny?
When loves comes back again
Have you mastered,
The art of looking strong?
When you're dying, but you never let it show
Have you pretended, you're the best you've ever been?
But aint it funny?
When love comes back again
Chorus: All those nights you spent alone
With the moonlight climbing in
Many days of feeling low
Then suddenly, you're standing tall when love comes back again
Have you ever lost your faith of finding love?
and have you questioned, the reasons from above?
Were you aching, watching strangers holding hands?
But aint it funny?
When you find love again
I used to cry over you
I lost my heart and there was nothin' I could do
I couldn't smile when you would leave
If you were mad I couldn't find the strength to breathe
I used to pine for what we had
I woke up hurtin' in my heart for you so bad
A stronger love had never been
I used to miss you and all the times we spent
Not anymore, not now, you tore my heart out
Gave me up and brought me down
You set me free, walked out the door
I used to need you to be happy, not anymore
Time heals everything
You almost killed me when you left and now I sing
I think of you now and then
But you'll never get the chance to break my heart again
Not anymore, not now, you tore my heart out
Gave me up and broke me down
And now I'm free, now I'm sure
I used to think I really loved you
He goes out at night, comes home when he wants to
Nobody to tell him what to do, yeah
He drinks 'til the doors close
Brings another girl home
In the morning light, his tears fall again
Chorus: Every day, haunted by what might have been
When night time falls he ties one on again
He chose to have his parties and his friends and a life of sin
How much fun it is for him
Coulda settled down, coulda had a family
But he broke her heart, with all his lies
She lay there dreamin', he sits there drinkin'
The life of the crowd, drownin' his troubles away
You will never settle down
You'll be ramblin' all around
'Til they put you in the cold, hard ground
You will never settle down
You got leavin' on your mind
You leave me lonesome all the time
Grass is greener on the other side
You got leavin' on your mind
Chorus: I can't change you, so I won't even try
You don't want me now but you'll be lonesome down the line
You ain't never gonna change
Not a thing can make you stay
It ain't nothing but a crying' shame
You ain't never gonna change
You aint' never comin' home
You always got someplace to go
You've been travelin' like a rolling stone
You aint never comin' home
There is nothing I can do
Whoever loves you is a fool
Cause your love is just too good to be true
There is nothing I can do
I wanna be with you, when the day is done
I wanna be with you, when the flowers come
I wanna be with you, when the leaves turn brown
I wanna be with you, when the sun goes down
When the sun goes down
I wanna ride with you, in the summer wind
I wanna hold your hand, and be your friend
I wanna run with you, in the August rain,
And make you laugh, and make you stay
Will you stay?
Chorus: So sad but true,
There's no time to lose
Forever just aint long enough for me, to be with you
I want a warm embrace, in the winter snow
I want a morning kiss, before you go
I wanna sit with you, on a mountainside
And walk with you by the ocean, late at night,
Late at night
I wanna dream with you, when the moon is high
And when you're away, I wanna be on your mind
I wanna be with you, when thunder falls
And hold you close, 'til the rain is gone
'til the rain is gone
That sad old train
Sleepin' on an old rusty track
She was from another time
Gone with the wind like the smoke from that old stack
She brought smiles and wavin' hands
As she whistled by a sleepy town
It was once the way to go
Just a shiny nickel and you were homeward bound
And I?ve seen better days like that sad old train
On an old abandoned track
When you were holdin' me, I knew someday you?d leave
Like that old train, you won?t be comin' back
She gently rumbled in the sunshine
As she carried home the mail
Her letters keepin' lovers waitin'
And friendly little boys placin' pennies on her rails
I can relate to that old train
Since you left me all alone again
And no one ever comes around
Once upon a time we were ridin' on the wind
I?ve seen better days like that old sad train
On an old forgotten track
When you were holdin' me, I knew someday you?d leave
Like that old train, you won?t be comin' back
Should I leave, should I stay?
Should I try to walk away?
From you tonight
Without a fight
Like a wound that will not heal
I cannot change the way I feel
For you tonight
Oh, how I?ve tried
Too many tear drops, too many heartaches
Too many pieces on the floor
Too much is broken, too much was taken
Too many things I can't ignore
I just can?t love you anymore
Should we give it one more try
Even though it?s just a lie
We tell ourselves
Just one more time
I forgot the reasons why
You once were always on my mind
I think it?s time
To say goodbye
Too many tear drops, too many heartaches
Too many pieces on the floor
Too much is broken, too much was taken
Too many things I can't ignore
I just can?t love you anymore
Too many tear drops, too many heartaches
Too many pieces on the floor
Too much is broken, too much was taken
Too many things I can't ignore
I just can?t love you anymore
On a trading path, through the Carolinas
Used by Indians who braved the wind and rain
They settled down beside the raging waters
And they worked the land until the white men came
And formed the counties
And they took away their land
And made the boundaries
Governed with a heavy hand
And you can almost hear the song
Of that old Indian longing for his home
Along the waters edge
Climbing mountains to escape
The laws of white men
Walking softly in the rain and talking to the wind
They were friendly and they rode on painted horses
Fearing no one, not harming anything
They were trusting when the pilgrims came to live here
And then they died by the hands of the men
Who formed the counties
And they took away their land
And made the boundaries
Governed with a heavy hand
And you can almost hear that sad song
Of that old Indian crying for his home
Along the waters edge
Climbing mountains to escape
The laws of white men
Walking softly in the rain and talking to the wind
They were trusting when they taught us how to live here
And then they scattered to the wind, leaving only tears behind them
And an old forgotten art
And all their memories, dying with a broken heart
And you almost hear the song
Of that old Indian longing for his home
Along that waters edge
Climbing mountains to escape
The laws of white men
I used to see my Daddy every day
He used to race me in the Carolina sun
Back when he was a young man
And he could plow the fields until the day was done
Mama played piano for the choir
Every Sunday afternoon she cooked my favorite things
After church we rode a dozen miles
On old forgotten pathways, now overgrown with trees
Chorus: Home is not the same place that it was
Time goes by andchanges everything
I left so many things behind me
My favorite things I took away
Were my memories and my dreams
Everything I rode would fly
In the woods by the river, and through the fields of hay
Stirring dust and making noise
Across a homemade finish line now lost and gone away
Remember that old dog we used to have
Laying on the front porch when it rained
Sometimes I really miss my old best friend
Buried over in the field where we used to play
I don?t know
Where or when it was over
And I?ll try not to cry
One more time on your shoulder
You were mine
And yours is all I wanted to be
In your eyes
I found all I wanted to see
One last time, won?t you hold me?
Take my hand, dance with me slowly
Tonight I?ll be yours if only
One more time
We were wild
Every moment we longed to be together
We shared our dreams
And a faithful promise of forever
What once was love has faded into memories
And closes like a door
All this time I needed you and something changed
I don?t need you anymore
One last time, won?t you hold me?
Take my hand, dance with me slowly
Tonight I?ll be yours if only
We were reckless wild and free
It was like a crazy dream
When I found my way to you
We both had so much to lose
We broke so many hearts
We tried to be apart
We wasted so much time
We even tried to say goodbye
Chorus: You were not mine,
But I took you anyway
From her side,
And I caused her so much pain
I f I could change,
Anything I've done,
I'd just stay lonely even though my selfish heart has found a home
We cried so many tears in vain
We only had ourselves to blame
We lied to everyone
Now everything is said and done
Many restless nights ago
We tried to let it go
Things will never be the same
and no one knows the price we've paid
Chorus: You were not mine,
But I took you anyway
From her side,
And I caused her so much pain
I f I could change,
Anything I've done,
You placed your hand in mine
And I saw you smile
We walked for a while
Until the sun disappeared behind
I love to hear you sing
The way you laugh at me
We sat in that old swing,
And you say you'll never leave
Chorus: Then I woke up, It was just a dream
You are not here, I think I'll go right back to sleep
You looked so real to me
You made me believe
That I was all you'd need
And you set my poor heart free
You told me you were mine
We left the past behind
No more lonely nights and
I was happy for a while
Lying in my bed, I hear
The clock tick and think of you
Caught up in circles
Confusion is nothing new
Flashback, warm nights almost left behind
Suitcases of memories, time after
Sometimes you picture me
I'm walking too far ahead
You're calling to me
I can't hear what you've said
Then you say go slow, I fall behind
The second hand unwinds
If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you, I'll be waiting
Time after time
After my picture fades
And darkness has turned to gray
Watching through windows
You're wondering if I'm okay
Secrets stolen from deep inside
The drum beats out of time
If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you, I'll be waiting
Time after time
If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you and I'll be waiting
I can't erase the miles or the lines on my face
There's no need for me to wonder where I might have been
I can't get nowhere without this lonesome road
andI can't remember what happened to my friends
Chorus: This lonesome highway and the wasted miles I've gone
Lonesome highway, leads away from home and tomorrow
I'll be here again
On this lonesome highway, where I've never been
I can't cross the river without bridges that I've burned
I'll have to go an extra mile to find a different way
I keep on riding on this lonesome road
I can't remember where I was yesterday
Chorus: This lonesome highway and the wasted miles I've gone
Lonesome highway, leads me back to home and tomorrow
I'll be here again
Loaded up the car and said goodbye
Looked at that old school one last time
No more homework and tears
And I'll miss the friends that I made here
Chorus: But I'm almost home, where they meet you with a smile and open arms
I'm almost home, where you never see a stranger and folks know who you are
I'm almost home, where I'll be welcomed like a star
I've been waiting for the day and I've been dreaming of your face
and I'm almost home
Went to serve his country far away
In a land where all the skies were grey
Letters froze the pain in time
Late at night he wrote while he cried
I'm almost home, where they meet you with a smile and open arms
I'm almost home, where you never see a stranger and folks know who you are
I'm almost home, where I'll be welcomed like a star
I'll be waiting for the day and I'll be dreaming of your face
and Im almost home
She saw her father in the room
She said her time was coming soon
I couldn't see him anywhere
But I knew she saw him standing there
She was smiling up at me
She put her hand on my knee
Took a breath and closed her eyes
She was singing while I cried
I'm almost home, where my Savior waits with open arms
I'm almost home, where I'll never meet a stranger and loved ones never part
I'm almost home, where I'll be welcomed like a star
I've been waiting for the day and I've been dreaming of your face
Young and handsome, star of the team
That all the young guys simply wanted to be
Girls dreamed about him when they thought he had it all
He got wound in trouble then, the star began to fall
Fell into drinkin' blew his college chance away
Left her on her own, couldn't face the life he made
And all his promises would soon turn into lies
She never made him happy and he never made her cry
And he drank to kill the trouble on his mind
He couldn't face the future or the ones he left behind
Everyday was more lonely than the last
And he only found forgiveness in the bottom of the glass
He started runnin' with the wrong kind of crowd
And started sleepin' on the wrong side of town
Then as time went on, he tried so hard to change
But he always left her cryin', she could never make him stay
One lonely night with tears on his face
He raised his glass and his life slipped away
Just a memory, once like a dream
Everyone looked down at the star of the team
And he drank to forget about the past
And all he ever wanted was what he couldn't have
Everyday was more lonely than the last
But he finally found forgiveness in the bottom of the glass
She kept the beds made and stayed there all alone
Washed her clothes and hung them out to dry
Did things the same old way and though her kids were gone
She kept the lights on in their room at night
She kept the dust away until she could no more
And the house was sold and everything inside
And all her treasures were not worth much at all
Always happy, she had never questioned why
And everything she owned was scattered to the wind
Sold at auction on a sunny autumn day
It took a lifetime to find all the things she wanted
And a day for all those hands to come and carry them away
Her daughter closed the door and looked back one last time
She could feel her mother's eyes
Watching down on her just like years ago
From her window at the kitchen, as a child
Those summer nights seemed like they would never end
And she remembered how her mama prayed for rain
Where did all that time go and leave me here
To face the world without my mama in the rain?
And everything she owned was scattered to the wind
Sold at auction on a sunny autumn day
It took a lifetime to find all the things she wanted
And a day for all those hands to come and carry them away
And everything she owned was scattered to the wind
Sold at auction on a sunny autumn day
It took a lifetime to find all the things she wanted
And a day for all those hands to come and carry them away
Remember when it was fun, to stay up all night long
We stayed out in the sun, until those summer days were gone
Remember dressing fine, for a crazy hometown Friday night
We'd get a little wild, come Sundays we were back in line
Chorus: Remember me I'm laughing..... crazy, young and wild and free
Remember me I'm dancing .......and times are changing but I'm still the same old me
Remember when it was fun, to write a little note to your best friend
About the one who stole your heart , and what was going down on the weekend
Remember when it was fun, to sit around in the pouring rain
To see the one that stole your heart, stand around the field at the football game
Chorus
Remember when it was fun, to ride up and down on the same old street
Getting lost and holding hands 'til you found a little movie on the drive-in screen
Remember when we were young, watching that clock 'til the weekend
Played the radio way too loud and dance like a fool with your best friends
Chorus: Remember me, I drove you crazy and we were wild and free
It's a cold world, sometimes I feel all alone
It's a long road that I'm rollin' on
And I wonder, if I'm on the path I should have taken
And I'm still here, even though my heart is breakin'
Someday I'm gonna find what I'm lookin' for
Someday I'll find my place in this world
Someday I'm gonna know why I'm here
When I find what I'm lookin' for
It's a big old world and sometimes I lose my way
But I keep searchin' and I get closer every day
I can't look back and I can't go back in time
I gotta move on and leave the past behind
Someday I'm gonna find what I'm lookin' for
Someday I'll find my place in this world
Someday I'm gonna know why I'm here
When I find what I'm lookin' for
Someday I'm gonna find what I'm lookin' for
Someday I'll find my place in this world
Someday I'm gonna know why I'm here
A man in the parking lot, down on his luck
Came and asked if I could spare a few bucks
I shoulda helped him, I shoulda cared
So before I fell asleep I said a little prayer
He must have no one to stand behind his dreams
No matter how crazy they seem
He must be scared, and alone
Begging for a dollar, searching for a home
Chorus: Without a family like mine
To turn to when you don't have a dime
Or a friend he could call
And I think he's lost, I think he's lost.....his way home
He may have talent and a dream he could chase
He may be a genius whose simply lost his way
I coulda helped him, I shoulda cared
I hope he finds a nice warm bed out there
He may have gone to Sunday School
In nice clothes and brand new shoes
Something happened along the way
For him to be alone, lost and afraid
I've waited all my life to find that special someone
Someone I could call my own
Someone to stick by me through good times and bad
No more playing games, I'd never be alone
Someone stole my heart and then he ran away
I gave the best I had to give
I need somebody whose not in it for the taking
Someone who needs me as long as we will live
Chorus: But I can't, win for losin'
Tired of giving everything sonow I'm giving in
Cause I can't, win for losin'
I don't need no one to break my heart again
There's nothing greater than someone by your side
Under the full moon and stars
But if all they wanna do is cause you pain,
You're better off alone
Without a broken heart
No matter what I do to try to make love stay
I just can't seem to win
I'd climb a mountain and swim across the sea
Just to find my heart in pieces once again
Miles of highway between me and my home
I think about you, when it rains and I'm alone
Another day, another memory, the sun disappears
Another morning without you and I cry another tear
What I want might not make me happy
What I do might bury me
What I'm chasing might not ever happen
And it might not set me free
Anything you decide to take for granted
Is just the same as letting go
The hardest thing you'll ever do is find you something
That makes you happy and knowing how and when to hold on
It's taken so long to get where I am
And I've got a long way to get where I wanna stand
Sometimes I'm crazy for the things that I believe
Have I done the best I can, is this the best that I can be?
What I want might not make me happy
What I do might bury me
What I'm chasing might not ever happen
And it might not set me free
Anything you decide to take for granted
Is just the same as letting go
The hardest thing you'll ever do, is find you something
The wind is blowing, through the pines
Always stealing from me, Father Time
Taking from me, what was never mine
One more day, one more night
Always longing for the past
Taking for granted, the time at hand
Every moment like shifting sand
Leaving weary, the strongest man
Many fortunes have been gained and lost
Upon the ocean, many ships have crossed
Many brilliant souls have lived and died
At the hands of Father Time
I?m not promised another day
Still I?m reckless and time I waste
All my tears cried in vain
Gaining wisdom as beauty fades
Gaining wisdom as beauty fades
Many seasons have now come and gone
Fleeting memories overwhelm my soul
And as the hands of fate, twist and unwind
Hey little bluebird, how are you?
Is it fun to fly in a sky of blue?
Is it fun to sit and keep an eye on me?
As much as I enjoy to watch you in the summer breeze
Hey little bluebird, why do you stay?
Through all the months of winter and all the snowy days?
Why don 't you fly where the sun is warm for you?
When it's cold outside what do you do?
Chorus: Where have you been?
Where do you go?
Flying in the sun
Flying in the snow
You're so lovely and I'm glad you're here
My little bluebird
Hey little bluebird on my window sill
When the sky is grey, how do you feel?
Are you lonely, do you sing a little song?
Do you ever cry when you're alone?
How high can you fly? Do you ever lose your way?
Where do you hide when you're afraid?
Does your little heart ever break like mine?
Do you have a friend you think about at night?
When I was young, my grandma lived two hours away
When I first learned to write, I had a lot to say
I wrote her a letter every week
She couldn?t wait to get them, she couldn?t wait to see
What I was doing and all about my friends
What I was dreaming, places I had been
What I was hoping that I could be some day
I wrote it in my letters and I mailed them all away
She always wrote me back, every single week
And how I loved to get her letters from the time I could read
Years later I was going through her things
And I found all the letters, she had saved for me
When she went to Heaven, I cried so many tears
But she?s here in these letters, after all these years
What she was doing and all about her friends
What she was dreaming, places she had been
What she had hoped for and things she?d like to see
She wrote it in her letters and she mailed them off to me
Couldn't stand all the pain, you caused, love was gone
I know you didn't mean to hurt me, but you were cold ,
like a stone
I didn't wanna see, a day without you
Chorus: and I'll move on, I'll never see you again
I'll be strong, I'm gonna ride the wind
The rain is gone, andthe sun is my friend
and I'll remember you
Everyone kept telling me, to find another heart
Nobody knows, how long and how hard
I tried
and I believed in you
Ashe's on the moon I'm frozen over you scratches yeah, yeah
I've been forsaken my guts already ache feels like treason
My soul's about to break so frozen over you, frozen.
Blood is on the sun with ashes on the moon
What's done is done I ain't over you the blood is on the sun
And I'll catch twenty two what's done is done we look it up.
Ashes on the moon, I'm frozen over you scratches yeah, yeah
I'm prayin' that ya think of me with lava on the rocks
Blind with light dark as the sea we sifted through the knocks
Anchors away for predators less the scurvy lot
O six hundred settin' sail the lovers of the land to rot.
Cross bones... vacation, red flag is a murder bath,
The black flag... submit. We can't live like the rest
The seven seas have ruined us export, imports, we implore
To get we thirst a bloody mess. The wenches of Liberia
Turned five men into moss the capetown cannibals?
For lunch, ate twelve of us. Contracted out of the Salem Yard
On the worthiest ship afloat plagued with the yellow fever
Men are dyin' to fill the note. Fifty five suns to Belguay

Nine hours on a stop watch behind me
Fourteen hours on a jet airplane
Been hangin' on to the coin ya gave.
She couldn't wait to send me away kickin' rocks to the grave
Raw raw rocks to the grave. I can't even say,
Babe you mean to me the rum's in the way and it belongs to me
Our ropes a thread and it's ready to break.
I stink of piss and drink for days she used to put
Her loving arms around me this old soul's runnin' empty.
Back from the Bar I kick and shout that's when Christmas lights
Went out the neighbors called the called, the cops got me now.
She sent me away on a jet airplane before I left she threw the keys
At me I'm taken my problems over seas
They'll fuck you once they'll fuck you twice
Lord walks upon the eggshells we've fallen through the ice
Hot and cold was on the ocean floor

The Unity, they can't get enough of me. Pubbed out in Hamburg,
I froze in the Paris ports
I got away from the border Duane's terminal U.S.A.
Wiped off that sidewalk war crimes of punk rock
Kick off that tour bus there ain't no Unity for me.
I was on the plane escape from Unity
Buy me a bugget of sand
Put it in a paper bag
Save it for the Brooklyn Bridge
Take some used oxygen
Love and hate
Hate and love
It's been on my mind such a long long time
And when I look back on you now
It's been all these years and I'm still doing fine
I was dead and you loved me somehow
We were feeling alone, but we were getting high
And when we laid down we made sense
We were moving along, but were we getting by?
Our love, it got lost in the end
So you can tear out my heart if you want it (hey, hey, hey)
We can still get it on yeah, if you want it (hey, hey, hey)
You'll be on my mind
You've been on my mind such a long long time
And when you look down on me now
Do you see his face and how it looks like mine
You gave me life when you lost it somehow
So you can tear out my heart if you want it (hey, hey, hey)
We can still get it on yeah, if you want it (hey, hey, hey)
If you wanna be on my mind
Don't come any closer 'cause I'm over you now (hey, hey, hey)
Don't care how I'm standing, I don't wanna know how
Don't come any closer 'cause I'm over you now (hey, hey, hey)
Don't care how I'm standing, I don't wanna know how
So you can tear out my heart if you want it (hey, hey, hey)
We can still get it on yeah, if you want it (hey, hey, hey)
If you wanna be on my mind
On my mind
If you wanna be on my mind
So you can tear out my heart if you want it
(I'm still doing fine)
We can still get it on yeah, if you want it
(you're always on my mind)
You can tell everyone
If you wanna be on my mind
On my mind
One business man, mans his business out of the way.
One lazy man, has time to think get him out of the way.
Device in a crisis, the price list to die the letters long
To number for the time will slip you by...
They'll keep you underneath the armpit of fear monitor'd emotions,
A board game is clear'd. Security's a number, a chip inside
Your skin uncompliant citizen, the state will take you in.
What's going on they hack us up in heaps what's going on
Unfair games for keeps. They've buried the key and tell you man
Yer free six feet down and out things ain't what they seem.
Go and kill yer brother cuz that's what they want
Two Popes are left China wants Jerusalem President Elect
Ballot boxes underhanded. The luner eclipse Mother Earth
Is shakin' fleas the dog's creepin' in animals are followin'
They've got yer friends under wraps by the government
We're close to the end yer just a man, ya can't predict.
Two thousand and ten, law none average washed up waters,
Last one on earth aliens, Nixon, Johnson,
Reagan all for one and all, assassination.
Roswell was no balloon Oswald was not alone
[Chorus x2]
[Tripp Locc]
Just came up and now its back to the homefront
the niggaz that I'm with decide to take a short cut
but that ain't me, bombed in and I'm trippin
gimme my half comrades and I seek dippin
cool, stay up is what I say as I slam the door
Its mobbin time make sure I tuck the fo-fo
hope to stroll dont take longer than expected
being on these snake ass streets it can get hectic
see some hoes makin that green
jacked by the dope fiends doin bad with they eyes on beam
prolly gonna do some devilish deeds for the next hit
24 hours for them they gotta stay lit
bust a left through the alley stayin off the main street
quiet as hell that I can hear my heartbeat
[Chorus x2]
4 Eyes 2 heads
Which one could it be
Its like this your mistaken I didn't do
[Wayniac]
Here comes a darkness now the clouds roll in, so why
am I paranoid maybe because I'm too high
I'm seein shit, thinkin shit like in a vision
but can't pinpoint the real evil am I gettin
close got the on post up, hold up
for them hookers that be lookin like toe up from the floor up
for rockin definites amounts to cock
but still it dont change the reason why they wanna plot, but got the knot
I make ya do what ya wanna do
when ya wanna do unto others, as others do unto you
is it a sin or a shame, who is to blame
no one should ever have to feel the strain on the brain
mo pain and grief, do I retreat to a deep sleep
or listen to the voice as it speaks
[Chorus x2]
[Tripp Locc]
Almost out the alley headlights hit my face
fuck its the po po got the strap so I'm break
hit the gate, be smart and do no stupid shit
thinkin like a G!! in this predicament
I'm bonin across PCH and I'm safe
the cut by the wall is open ghetto version late
another day, another time perhaps
but for now, I gotta be free to make my snaps
whole lot of traps to dodge when you're broke and when you're large
keepin it real the Black Panther charge
I never let em hold me back
wassup cool cat (wassup mane) I see my homey give him dap
and tell him what fun I had with the one times
plus my mission, he's mad cuz he missed it
ain't no thang it was a job and adventure
coulda got twisted tonight but I got wit ya
