Subscribe to UNICEF here: http://bit.ly/1ltTE3m The year 2014 has been one of horror, fear and despair for millions of children, as worsening conflicts across the world saw them exposed to extreme violence and its consequences, forcibly recruited and deliberately targeted by warring groups. Yet many crises no longer capture the world’s attention. As many as 15 million children are caught up in violent conflicts in the Central African Republic, Iraq, South Sudan, the State of Palestine, Syria and Ukraine – including those internally displaced or living as refugees. Globally, an estimated 230 million children currently live in countries and areas affected by armed conflicts. “Girls who are married before their 18th birthdays are not only denied their childhood but are often socially isolated and subjected to violence, and limited opportunities for education and employment,” says Bruno Maes, UNICEF Representative in Chad. Shot in Chad, the video reflects a reality that is common throughout several developing nations. The country’s high child marriage rate ranks third globally, with 68% of girls married as children. We grumble about this and that but when you look at how little others have it makes the little day to day stuff seem insignificant! Go to unicef.ca and give what you can. Rather than taking flowers for dinner on the weekend make a donation that will feed a family or medication to save a life. Your host will understand and thank you. How many children do not have access to an education? Nearly 58 million children of primary school age and 63 million young adolescents are not enrolled in school. Reggae band SOJA partnered with UNICEF's Out-of-School Children initiative to produce this video in Jigiga, the Somali region of Ethiopia. 3 million children remain out of school in the East African nation. The global initiative calls for a greater investment in better data and demonstrates that reaching the most marginalized children may initially cost more but also yields greater benefits. The world is a dangerous place for children. Act now: http://www.unicef.org.uk/violence Across the world, children are facing an epidemic of violence. In war zones, on the streets of violent cities, but also, shockingly, in their own homes and schools. From babies to teenagers, they’re beaten, raped, even murdered. UNICEF vaccinates over a third of the world’s children. But there is no vaccine for violence. And there never will be. Add your name to our Children in Danger campaign and help end violence against children for good. Act now: http://www.unicef.org.uk/violence #violencevaccine

Press TV 2015-03-20United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF; /ˈjuːnɨsɛf/ YEW-ni-sef) is an international charity, headquartered in New York City, that provides long-term humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries. It is one of the members of the United Nations Development Group and its Executive Committee.
UNICEF was created by the United Nations General Assembly on December 11, 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1954, UNICEF became a permanent part of the United Nations System and its name was shortened from the original United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund but it has continued to be known by the popular acronym based on this old name.
UNICEF relies on contributions from governments and private donors and UNICEF's total income for 2008 was $3,372,540,239. Governments contribute two thirds of the organization's resources; private groups and some 6 million individuals contribute the rest through the National Committees. It is estimated that 91.8% of their revenue is distributed to Program Services. UNICEF's programs emphasize developing community-level services to promote the health and well-being of children. UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965 and the Prince of Asturias Award of Concord in 2006.
Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson (born October 25, 1984), known by her stage name Katy Perry, is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Perry grew up with gospel music, and during her first year of high school she pursued a music career as Katy Hudson, releasing her first studio album called Katy Hudson which failed to chart. She recorded a solo album later, which was never released. After signing with Capitol Music Group in 2007, her fourth record label in seven years, she adopted the stage name Katy Perry.
She first gained recognition with the release of her first mainstream album, One of the Boys in 2008, which spawned three Billboard Hot 100 top-ten songs—"I Kissed A Girl", "Hot n Cold" and "Waking Up In Vegas". Perry supported the album with her Hello Katy Tour. In 2010, her third studio album, Teenage Dream (2010), which topped the Billboard 200 chart, and spawned five number one singles—"California Gurls", "Teenage Dream", "Firework", "E.T." and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)"—Teenage Dream was the only album (after Michael Jackson's Bad)—to do so, and the first female in history to achieve this milestone. She embarked on the California Dreams Tour, which grossed nearly $60 million worldwide. Perry re-released the album under the name of Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection on March 26, 2012, and the re-release has already spawned the number-one single "Part of Me".
David Robert Joseph Beckham, OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English association footballer who plays for Los Angeles Galaxy. He has played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, and the England national team for which he holds the appearance record for an outfield player.
Beckham's career began when he signed a professional contract with Manchester United, making his first-team debut in 1992 aged 17. During his time there, United won the Premier League title six times, the FA Cup twice, and the UEFA Champions League in 1999. He left Manchester United to sign for Real Madrid in 2003, where he remained for four seasons, clinching the La Liga championship in his final season with the club. In January 2007, it was announced that Beckham would leave Real Madrid for the Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy, signing a five-year contract with them on 1 July 2007. While a Galaxy player, he spent two loan spells in Italy with Milan in 2009 and 2010. On 20 November 2011, he joined an elite group of players to have won three league titles in three different countries, when Los Angeles won their third MLS Cup.
SAFE!
Fight inside for blood an oil
Fight The War not asking why [what?]
Only pain who got the control
Army of hypocrisy
Crucified from regrets
The voice of emptiness
Living a fuckin life lost
Where death is the only price to pay
And there's NO ESCAPE from the lies
With fear in their eyes
Crucified from regrets
A voice for the emptiness
In the hands of violence
Haunted and mutilated
Inside your fight Crawling again
The name is none on the tombstone
Are dead but don't even know yet
Disperation that lives in them
They soon will be free
Yeah goddamn free from the faults
That were never been inflicted
Crucified from regrets
The voice of emptiness
In the hands of violence
They're haunted and mutilated
Your madness is endless
World wide war disorder
The times are so unsafe
No escape from the lies
With fear in their eyes
The times are so unsafe
Help them save their souls
Entrapped in the bullets
Killing millions of people
The system must be shaken.
This is the new way.
Ripping me out! Out of safe, out of warm, out of dead.
Ripping me out! Out of breath, out of blood, out of
skin.
Ripping me out! Out of space, out of time, out of mind.
Ripping me out! Out of me, out of you, out of this.
Can’t you let me alone? Get out!
Can’t you see in my mind? Get out!
Can’t you feel this inside? Get out!
I want to die here in this!
Virus, in the system. Voices, in my head.
Virus, no defense. Forces, I’m undead.
Your life, your old life, is worth nothing.
It will burn away in a cloud of shattered dreams,
and old songs about love.
The things that you believed in are gone.
Ripping me out! Into pain, into fear, into here.
Ripping me out! Into lies, into sighs, into eyes.
Ripping me out! Into rage, into cage, into dark.
Ripping me out! Into here, into now, into this.
Won’t you just let me bleed? Get up!
Won’t you help feed my fear? Get up!
Won’t you maintain the lie? Get up!
Just let me die here in this!
Virus, in the system. Voices, in my head.
Virus, no defense. Forces, I’m undead.
I have taken away your old, dead life.
I give you the glorious gift of pain
to teach you the new way.
The pain of re-birth. I am the Destroyer.
Blessed be! Chaos, in the system.
Screaming, in my head.
Evil, words unspoken.
Stripping, bleeding red.
Virus, in the system. Voices, in my head.
