U.S. Special Forces In Intense Night Time Combat Operations In Sadr City Iraq | Second Iraq War. U.S. Special Forces and in some parts supported by Iraqi Special Forces in intense night time raids against insurgents in Sadr City Iraq. Most of the operations conducted in this video aimed to capture high ranked militias in the area of Bagdath but also some hostage rescure operations are featured in this clip. The most intese part at the end of the video shows an intense night time firefight raid through Sadr city that was recorded during the capture of several insurgents and was held out on an undisclosed date/time during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The mission was interfered after heavy resistance and fighting when two blackhawks were hit during the combat action and no further footage of the operation was declassified due to this. This video gives an deep look into combat operations held out by special forces in enemy territory and shows very well how fierce the combat in Iraq was during that time. Sadr City is a suburb district of the city of Baghdad, Iraq that was built in 1959. Sadr City (or more accurately Thawra District) is one of nine administrative districts in Baghdad. Thousands of Shia militia loyal to the powerful cleric Moqtada al-Sadr have paraded through Iraq, raising sectarian tensions amid continued fighting in areas of Iraq. The cleric, whose Mehdi Army fought the US in Iraq for years, had called for a military parade across the country. The BBC's Jonathan Beale reports from the largest march which took place in the Sadr City area of Baghdad. Would you like to know more? Iraq crisis: Shia militia show of force raises tensions (BBC, June 21, 2014) http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-27953312 "Correspondents say the show of force will be seen as a very disturbing development by the Baghdad government. Sunni extremists have seized control of large swathes of territory across Iraq. On Saturday, officials admitted that the militants - led by jihadist group Isis - had seized a strategically important border crossing to Syria, near the town of Qaim, killing 30 troops after a day-long battle. The capture of the crossing in western Iraq could help Isis transport weapons and other equipment to different battlefields, analysts say. Thousands of largely Shia Iraqis have volunteered to fight Isis, urged on by a call from the country's highest Shia religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani. But the BBC's Jim Muir, in northern Iraq, says the impressive-looking parade of men in battle fatigues accompanied by serious military hardware will only raise sectarian tensions at at time when the government is under pressure to rally the country together against the extremists..." Sahara Morocco tours - Sahara Morocco trip Travel Videos HD, World Travel Guide http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=World1Tube The Western Sahara is a disputed territory in the Maghreb region of North Africa, bordered by Morocco to the north, Algeria to the extreme northeast, Mauritania to the east and south, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. Its surface area amounts to 266,000 square kilometres (103,000 sq mi). It is one of the most sparsely populated territories in the world, mainly consisting of desert flatlands. The population is estimated at just over 500,000, of whom nearly 40% live in El Aaiún (also spelled Laâyoune), the largest city in Western Sahara. Occupied by Spain since the late 19th century, the Western Sahara has been on the United Nations list of non-self-governing territories since 1963 after a Moroccan demand.[4] It is the most populous territory on that list, and by far the largest in area. In 1965, the UN General Assembly adopted its first resolution on Western Sahara, asking Spain to decolonise the territory. One year later, a new resolution was passed by the General Assembly requesting that a referendum be held by Spain on self-determination. In 1975, Spain relinquished the administrative control of the territory to a joint administration by Morocco (which had formally claimed the territory since 1957) and Mauritania.[6] A war erupted between those countries and the Sahrawi national liberation movement, the Polisario Front, which proclaimed the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) with a government-in-exile in Tindouf, Algeria. Mauritania withdrew in 1979, and Morocco eventually secured effective control of most of the territory, including all the major cities and natural resources. Since a United Nations-sponsored ceasefire agreement in 1991, two thirds of the territory (including most of the Atlantic coast line)[8] has been controlled by Morocco and the remainder by the SADR, strongly backed by Algeria.[9] Internationally, countries such as the United States and Russia have taken a generally ambiguous and neutral position on each side's claims, and have pressed both parties to agree on a peaceful resolution. Both Morocco and Polisario have sought to boost their claims by accumulating formal recognition, essentially from African, Asian, and Latin American states in the developing world. The Polisario Front has won formal recognition for SADR from 53 states, and was extended membership in the African Union. Morocco has won recognition or support for its position from several African governments and from most of the Arab League. In both instances, recognitions have, over the past two decades, been extended and withdrawn according to changing international trends.[citation needed] As of 2006, no other member state of the United Nations has recognized Moroccan sovereignty over Western Sahara.

Petra is a historical and archaeological city in the southern Jordanian governorate of Ma'an that is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Another name for Petra is the Rose City due to the color of the stone out of which it is carved. Established possibly as early as 312 BCE as the capital city of the Nabataeans,[1] it is a symbol of Jordan, as well as Jordan's most-visited tourist attraction.[2] It lies on the slope of Jebel al-Madhbah (identified by some as the biblical Mount Hor[3]) in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah (Wadi Araba), the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. Petra has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985.

Richmond Times Dispatch 2015-03-20Sadr City (Arabic: مدينة الصدر - Madinat aṣ-Ṣadr) is a suburb district of the city of Baghdad, Iraq. It was built in 1959 by Prime Minister Abdul Karim Qassim and later unofficially renamed Sadr City after deceased Shia leader Mohammad Mohammad Sadeq al-Sadr.
Sadr City (or more accurately Thawra District — Arabic: حيّ الثورة - ħayy ath-Thawra) is one of nine administrative districts in Baghdad. A public housing project neglected by Saddam Hussein, Sadr City holds more than 3 millions Shiite residents.
Sadr City was built in Iraq in 1959 by Prime Minister Abdul Karim Qassim in response to grave housing shortages in Baghdad. At the time named Revolution City (مدينة ألثورة "Al-Thawra"), it provided housing for Baghdad's urban poor, many of whom had come from the countryside and who had until then lived in appalling conditions. It quickly became a stronghold of the Iraqi Communist Party, and resistance to the Baathist-led coup of 1963 was strong there.
In 1982, following the Saddam Hussein coup, the district was renamed Saddam City, in honor of Saddam Hussein, the Baath Party leader. After the foreign occupation of Baghdad in April 2003, the district was unofficially renamed Sadr City after deceased shiite leader Mohammad Mohammad Sadeq al-Sadr.
I wish I could say you lost me.
I wish I could say it's so.
I wish everyday you lost me.
But you gave me up long ago.
Remember the time we went dancing -
you sat there 'til 1:45
and left me to ride away begging
and gasping for air to survive.
But now that I'm arguably older,
and though it is winter once more,
I'd jump if you dialed my number,
forgetting my heart on the floor.
And it's better, better, better, to be the breaker.
A city of too many women
grabbing for pieces of men,
cherishing every beginning,
and falling apart in the end.
Take my heart, take it fast.
Wear it close, tightly wrapped.
Take my hands, take them rough?
Be the man that I love.
One by one they fall.
Bake my bread, squeeze my wine.
Play with me like a child.
Wish on stars, kiss and tell.
Come with me, come with me through this hell.
Two by two they fall.
Two by two they fall.
And when you're done with my heart
place it neatly in the drawer.
Fold it up with great care
for my next love to wear.
One by one they fall.
One by one they fall.
Sister, oh how I miss your face
smiling in your right place,
across the dinner table.
You're the first one I ever held hands with.
Did I really hurt you because of a man?
It'll never happen again.
Sister, I'm done running this race with you.
Put me in my place, with you across the dinner table.
You're the first one I ever held hands with here, and
now you're gone all because of a man.
Promise it'll never happen again.
Sister, sister, sister, sister.
I'm running to catch up with the world,
out of breath now.
Thrown away my nightgowns and stored every quarter.
But I've been thinking,
calculating,
what would happen
if I stopped.
Would I die?
Would I lose all my friends and cry?
Oh me, oh my.
Would I die?
I'm running to catch up with the boys,
but I'm much faster.
Offered them my shiniest toys,
and fed them dinner.
But I've been thinking,
calculating,
what would happen
if I stopped
for a meal.
Would I lose all my sex appeal?
Oh me, oh my.
For a meal.
And when I think of heaven above
it's full of nature.
Pretty purple flower buds
bloom in winter.
Waterfalls on golden streams
and mermaids singing
fireworks on every sunning
and churchbells ringing.
But I've been thinking,
calculating,
what would happen
if I stopped
for a view.
Would my heaven on earth be true?
Oh me, oh my.
Would you hold my hand if I ask you?
Would you weave your fingers in mine?
Would you leave them tangled for hours,
or let them skip away like hopscotch in the rain?
Could you see a future in New York?
Could you see a baby or two?
If you could see a future in New York,
then could you ignore my tendancy to
push you aside? I don't mean it.
Aside, not at all.
Is it to much to ask you
to hold me tighter next time?
For if there's room left to wiggle,
I'll wiggle away, leaving nothing but a trace
that you can pick right up,
hold it close or toss it out.
Does all my questioning bore you?
I'd to hate chip at your ears,
so say the word and I'll drop it.
I'll patiently wait
for you to calmly push me aside -
did I dream it?
Aside, not at all.
I want to be needed.
I want broken people
falling at my feet
and into my arms,
crashing from the barn,
and crying us to sleep.
Why you gotta be so bad?
Why you like your love so sad?
I know you're hiding somewhere,
a hole,
buried beneath twisted junk in your soul.
Junk hides a hole.
And I want to climb,
I want to reach for your hand for you're drowning,
and I want to be your heroine.
That's why it's gotta be so bad.
You never see it coming,
until it hammers down your door.
You never even notice that big gaping hole
in your wall.
And oh, what's more -
I never would have thought to look you
so deep in the eyes
instead of on the surface
like skipping stones or dragon flies.
But oh, isn't it fun and romantic.
Oh, I think it's time that I made you mine.
Oh, whoa, whoa.
And don't we have a knack, dear,
for playing, playing in the brush.
And though there might be thorns there
I'm pretty sure we'll like it just as much
as if we were to wake up
in a hotel with silk sheets
and ladies who will make up our bed
as we're running down the beach in bare feet.
(Kazoo solo.)
I hope you'll stay a while,
wait a day or two for this fog to clear.
And though it's hard to swallow,
it's that hammering that I need to hear.
And oh, isn't it fun and romantic.
Oh, I think it's time that I made you mine
and oh, isn't it fun and romantic.
Oh, I think it's time that I made you mine.
Keep me, baby, on my toes.
Push me to the edge.
Pull me up like a balloon,
but don't tie off the end.
Keep me, baby, in the dark
for that I should see
any indiscretion, dear,
that might discourage me.
And next time you call up,
I'll tightrope on the line,
with steady hands I'll anxiously
prepare to call you mine.
But keep me, baby, on my toes,
so when that wind does blow
it lifts me with no strain or tear
It means less and less every time you say it.
And I'm straining to keep it, keep it up.
And I stare at you, your body in the moonlight
and it's so fine, lying, lying, lying next to me.
You happened to me like a summer rain.
Come down so hard on me, a hot heavy gaze.
You happened to me like a summer rain.
Come down so hard on me, a hot heavy gaze.
It means less and less every time you say it.
I'll tell you why I'm happy,
I'll tell you why we are in love,
I'll tell you why we are impossibly free to be ourselves.
Cause I don't have a baby daddy,
you're not wearing a ring.
There's no trace of reluctance when you say you're falling for me
so gracefully.
It's so gracefully.
I'll tell you why I'm happy,
I'll tell you why we are in love.
It's the dinner that we make and the way you clean it up.
You change my guitar strings when you see that they are dull
and I will give you a backrub,
buy you maple syrup for your oats.
I'll tell you why I'm happy.
I'll tell you why we are in love.
Years in therapy, and the medication that I'm on.
Health is sexy, health is sexy, health is sexy, health is sexy, health is sexy.
I'll tell you why I'm happy,
Guess I turned into my mother,
trying to control things and others
and worrying about it all.
Will it hurt her feelings,
am I doing it wrong?
Family ties like a bow around the presents life is made of.
Family ties like a bow around the presents life is made of.
Imperfect love.
Imperfect love.
Family ties like a bow around the presents life is made of.
Family ties like a bow around the presents life is made of.
Imperfect love.
I won't hold onto this light.
Let it fade into the night.
I'll get out of the way
of the hand we were meant to play
and lose.
Wearing armor so tight.
Strain against what you think is right
and the truth is right.
You.
Row row row your boat
gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily.
Life is but a dream.
Floating downstream with the fish.
Free from every wish.
At sea I'll be.
I will throw you, baby, out with the bathwater.
Cause I know, cause I know what's precious, and I'll take my time.
No, we shouldn't rush into this gold mine.
It might just crumble with our hearts inside.
I can smell it a mile away
in the spring before it rains
in the heavy clouded sky,
ready to tumble, ready to cry.
I will throw you, baby, out with the bathwater.
Cause I know, cause I know what's precious and I'll take my time.
No, we shouldn't rush into this gold mine.
It might just crumble with our hearts inside.
I will throw you, baby, out with the bathwater.
Cause I know, cause I know what's precious and I'll take my time.
No, we shouldn't rush into this gold mine.
It might just crumble with our hearts inside.
Boy in a burrito of blankets,
I love the way you wake up and fix breakfast.
Who sent me this poison?
You know it's not at all my taste.
You must've heard my order wrong.
The waitress is the one to blame.
I haven't quite recovered.
Someone cut me off on the road.
Did you happen see the driver?
Easy - blame the blonde on the phone.
It's not my fault, they tell me.
She's the one to blame, they say.
But I'm the one who's sorry.
The heart's a little fragile.
The heart is known to stop on a dime.
No matter how you wear it,
the heart is bound to break in time.
No one saw it coming.
You're right to be upset, little girl.
And go off into hiding,
and don't come out until you heal.
It's not my fault, they tell me.
She's the one to blame, they say.
But I'm the one who's sorry.
I'm the one who's sorry.
