Being a native from Minnesota, Roxane's first acting experience was with Mighty Duck's 3, which filmed in Plymouth, MN. After high school she attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Go Badgers!) and got a degree in Elementary Education & Psychology. Here she took numerous drama classes, learning not only how to act but how to use drama in the classroom. After graduating, a big move to Colorado was made, along with many other life changing events.
Roxane has appeared in many commercials, movies, and films. Her most recognizable work would be on MTV's Cancun Undercover 1999. From there she made guest appearances on MTV's "Kiss & Tell", "So Five Seconds Ago", and "Spring Break Re-visited".
Roxane has studied acting for the past several years (and currently) with Brian McCulley, at Front Range Acting Studio, with Kether Axelrod with Rocky Mountain Talent Pool (Los Angeles), and Peter DeAnello (writing, acting, ear prompter). She puts her skills to use in such feature length projects as "Alice in Wasteland", "Nine Seconds of Light", "Tough Talk", "Corporate America Rocks" and "Straight Jacket", as well as countless independent short films. Most recently Roxane appeared as the lead in "Destiny's West", premiering at the Starz First Look Film Festival.
Roxane has worked as a spokes person for many different organizations; J& B Scotch, Sazerac, and US Tobacco to name a few. In these positions she had the opportunity to travel the country and Mexico. She has worked in front of thousands of people with energy and confidence, and hundreds of events.
Roxane also has appeared as the host of "Colorado Reel" a show about film and television production in Colorado. She worked both in-studio and on remote, interviewing and highlighting Colorado producers, directors and film-makers. She has hosted several other programs such as "Island Time", "On the Fly" and a documentary about "The Ski Train". Currently she is the Co-host for "Around the Ranch" for the Emmy Award winning station of Douglas County 8. She generates her own stories, produces and helps edit the material.
In her "spare" time, Roxane works with Hamilton Casting. She has cast a number of projects for both local and national clients. She also enjoys painting, dancing, cooking, aerobics, and mostly being a mom of three.
