Rance said a group of about 12 rode their 50cc scooters on the road, all cleaned and theme, from Invercargill to Te Anau and will head to Milford Sound. The purpose of the ride was to keep the scooters on the road, have a laugh and map out a potential new fundraising run, he said. The scooters had a top speed of about 65kms downhill, he said.
