Plot
Untouched for fifty years, a family finds a bundle of letters setting them on a journey into their past, and the rediscovery of a tragic love story amid the turmoil of World War II. Bermudian, Major Toby Smith lost his life at the Battle of Overloon during the final Allied push for victory. This film weaves a haunting portrait etched in Tobys own words through the letters he lovingly and dutifully wrote his wife and five children as he agonized over loyalty to them and the war against the Nazis during four years of service abroad. This first hand account uniquely re-captures the war-time era and its impact on a family, leaving a lasting legacy of what it means to serve ones King and Country.
Plot
This is a desert island movie with a twist; the desert is New York City, and the Island is the roof of an empty 30 story office building in downtown Manhattan. When Emma Hauser, an executive in charge of a coporate move, finds herself locked on the roof of her workplace with her estranged lover, Henry Smith, she is forced to confront her entire way of life as well as the lovelorn and increasingly unstable Mr. Smith. As hours slip into days with no rescue in sight, they learn to survive on the roof by eating pigeons and drinking rainwater. Soon Emma realizes the terrible truth; the only hope of survival will be a mind control battle with herself, her past and the madness of Henry Smith.
Plot
Vancouver Police Detective Henry Smith is one of those investigating the murder of Roman Catholic Father Martin, who was crucified in his own church. Soon, others are also murdered, their dead bodies either hung in crucifixion or laid in such a manner. The detectives realize that they are dealing with a serial killer with a very personal and religious agenda. In the middle of the investigation is powerful publisher Alexander Hunt, a major benefactor to the church who the detectives believe is either the killer or the next victim. Despite being an atheist, Henry believes solving this case will offer some redemption in his own life, one that includes guilt over a recent on the job death of a colleague, dealing with a recovering drug addicted brother, and waiting for the potentially terminal diagnosis of an adolescent daughter. The case takes a turn for Henry when a personal connection to him is identified.

The place is beautiful and the food is fantastic, but something just doesn't seem right. One of the guests has suddenly vanished, and the hosts are certainly reluctant to have anyone poking around the meat locker. Barbara Smith (born 1949), known as B. Smith, is a restaurateur and television host.
B. Smith began her career as a fashion model, going on to grace the covers of 15 magazines including Mademoiselle, becoming the first African-American woman on its cover in July 1976. Today her face can be seen on Betty Crocker and Pillsbury products and, in addition to a recent TV commercial for Mercedes-Benz, she currently serves as spokesperson for Colgate Palmolive Oxy products and in the past, McCormick's Lawry seasonings.
Smith owns three restaurants and was recognized by Elle Décor as one of America’s ten most outstanding non-professional chefs.[citation needed] She opened her first restaurant in 1986. Her restaurants are located on Restaurant Row in New York; in the historic Beaux-Arts Union Station in Washington, D.C.; and in the village of Sag Harbor on Long Island in New York.
Smith’s interest in décor and restaurant design led to the development of her first home collection, which debuted at Bed Bath & Beyond in Spring 2001. The B. Smith with Style Home Collection is the first line from an African-American woman to be sold at the retailer and includes bedding (duvet and comforter sets, coverlets, quilts, coordinated sheets, decorative pillows, window treatments) as well as tabletop, bath ensembles and area rugs, doormats, wall art, candles, bathroom furniture, door mats, and paper products.[citation needed]
