[first lines]::Duncan: [writing] Dear Wendy, Olive, Rhona, Natalie and Gemma. I hope you're happy. If that sounds sarcastic, it was meant to. What you've collectively done to me... [gets a new pen]::Duncan: What you've collectively done to me... [gets another pen]::Duncan: What you've collectively done to me is quite an achievement. Four years ago, I was happy to believe in a very simple concept. You might have heard of it, it's called LOVE. But thanks to the five of you, I now know that love is a lie, a myth specifically concocted to bring me as much pain and misery as possible. Wendy: were you ever really that interested in me, or was I merely a holiday while you and him went through a dull patch? Olive: almost everything I told you was a lie. Sorry about that. Rhona: who'd you think I was? If I was that wrong for you, then you really should have paid more attention at the start. Natalie: okay, so I know I've had enough of this one, but did you really want ME, or just someone? And Gemma: what should I say to you? I suppose I should forgive you. This is a suicide note, after all. Okay, I forgive you. But I don't want that to make you feel any better... I'm sure you'll all find someone. You might even think you're in love, but don't kid yourselves: we're all just playing out scenes we've seen in films, the only difference is that our stories have depressing endings. When real people walk towards a sunset, no music swells, no credits roll - they just get to the end of the beach, have a row, and walk back to the car. And that's depressing! In fact after reading this, you might feel your only option is to join me! And that's the one thing I wouldn't blame you for. Bye then: Duncan.
Duncan: [about his fading relationship with Wendy] Maybe I was too clingy... or too laid back... or maybe I never really stood any bloody chance in the first place!
Duncan: [about Olive] Did she like any of the place we'd been together? Did she like ME? I had no idea what she wanted!
Duncan: As my next girlfriend's influence spread across my flat, one thing was clear: Rhona and I were very different. And to begin with, I rather liked the exotic additions she made to my life. But at some point, we would have to deal with the fact that our tastes were not the same.
[Making out with Natalie, Duncan sees her toy elephant Guppy staring at her]::Duncan: WHAT?::Guppy: [talking] What's wrong?::Duncan: Well, what d'you mean?::Guppy: Ah, you're not into it. What's up?::Duncan: I can't help thinking...::Guppy: Don't THINK, just get on with it!::Duncan: I'm trying to, but all sorts of stuff's spinning around my head!::Guppy: Look, mate, take my advice: you just got to switch THIS off!::[points at his head]::Guppy: D'you think I would be able to do this if I thought about it? Huh? Do you, huh?::[walks on air, then thinks about what he just did and falls with a holler]::Duncan: I know, but it's all a bit...::Guppy: [climbing on the bed] A bit quick, yeah! Yeah, a little bit too easy?::Duncan: I suppose.::Guppy: Then this was so easy for you, and EVERY OTHER...::Duncan: I don't want to think about THAT, but I can't help it!::Guppy: Well then, you've got to stop!::Duncan: What?::Guppy: Yeah, yeah, just stop immediately! Tell her that you respect her far too much to continue having sex with her!::Duncan: Really?::Guppy: COURSE NOT, YOU MUPPET! Just enjoy it!::Duncan: Okay. Thanks, Guppy.::Guppy: Don't mention it.
[Duncan takes Gemma to Paris]::Duncan: I had planned the perfect weekend: a first-class trip to Paris; our own chauffeur on standby for three days; an executive suite in a five-star hotel with comforts and amenities you couldn't possibly imagine, it even had a balcony with stunning views across the city. I pulled every string I could to get a window seat at a three-star Michelin restaurant. I somehow managed to get two tickets to her favourite opera. I even bought a twilight trip down the Seine with music, champagne, the works!... And you know what? The minute we arrived I knew it was going to be a fucking disaster.
[Gemma grieves for Duncan after hearing he committed suicide]::Duncan: All right, so it didn't end like that... [the film rewinds]
Duncan: I'd actually only taken twenty amphetamine Vitamin C tablets, which was lucky because it suddenly dawned upon me how unsatisfying suicide is. All I wanted to do was make a point, but why make such a scene if you're not around to witness the result? If you don't get to see the reactions of those you try to affect, commit suicide and you're too dead to get pleasure from it!
Duncan: I threw myself into work. How refreshing to think about just ME for once, about what I wanted. No longer did I have to worry about whether she'd like this film, or what time she wanted to be wherever in the morning. In fact, who needed this love thing anyway? Hadn't it just brought me anguish and pain? After all, I'm not the first one to try and make sense of love. There's been centuries of analysts, preachers, gurus and writers who've tried, and did they find a solution, an answer to the mystery of most peoples' emotional lives?
[last lines]::Duncan: So one day I decided, I wasn't going to play this game anymore. I didn't understand the rules, and the injuries were just too painful. [while watching TV with his new stereo system, Duncan is interrupted by his downstairs neighbor]::Duncan: And then I met Angela.

The feel-good event of the year!
Sally DeBains: So, how tall are you, Jimmy?::Jimmy: Five feet, nine inches.::Sally DeBains: Let's forget the five feet and concentrate on the nine inches.
Jack Stone: Quit squawkin'. You got more static than the radio.
Mary Lane: I think I've been shot! [collapses, Sally screams]::Sally DeBains: She fell down!
Mary Lane: Say, is this a fraternity sweater? Is Jimmy hanging out with college boys?::Ralph Wiley: Why, yes, yes, he is. We at Phi Beta Cannabis were so taken with Jimmy, we decided to pledge him... early... while he's still in high school... to avoid the rush.::Mary Lane: Well, that's the bee's knees! Wait 'til that Suzy Mayberry hears about this!::Ralph Wiley: Let's celebrate... with a smoke!::Mary Lane: Hold on! This isn't that reefer I've read about, is it?::Ralph Wiley: Oh, no, of course not. This is a special cigarette. All the rage with the college girls... in Paris.::Mary Lane: Paris?::Ralph Wiley: Oh, yes.::Mary Lane: Well, if I'm going to be dating a fraternity man...::[Ralph shoves a reefer stick in her mouth]
FDR: A little orphan girl once told me that the sun would come out tomorrow. Her adopted father was a powerful billionaire so I suppressed the urge to laugh in her face, but now, by gum, I think she may have been on to something!
[last lines]::Parents: It's time for parents to take a stand / For the preservation of this great land / 'Till the things that scare us are burned or banned, / Or smashed to smithereens! / And once the reefer has been destroyed, / We'll start on Darwin and Sigmund Freud, / And sex depicted on celluloid, / And communists and queens!::Lecturer: When danger's near, exploit their fear!::Parents: The end will justify the means!
[Ralph, hallucinating, opens a closet door and sees Satan sodomizing Mary]::Mary Lane: Remember me, Ralph? I've been sent to hell! A pubescent edition of Jezebel. It hurts a lot to bend! But, at least, I've made a friend.::Ralph Wiley: Shut up!::Satan: You murdered her, Ralph!::Mary Lane: Murdered me!::Ralph Wiley: Murdered you!::Jimmy: Murdered me!::Ralph Wiley: Murdered them!::Jack Stone: [to Mae] What's eating him?::Ralph Wiley: Jack! I saw Satan! And the kid. And Satan! And the girl. And *Satan*!
Jimmy: Mary Jane, oh Mary Jane. You conquered me like Charlemagne.
Sally DeBains: Yes, I'm waiting for your business in this carnal carnivale. Take a one-way ticket to the Bacchanal. So come on Jimmy, come on give me, *reefer love*!
Jimmy Harper: There's blood on my hands, and mud on my name. My id threw a party and everyone came. My innocence ravished, my virtue devoured, I can't count the strangers with whom I have showered!

All of the Baby Einstein videos in this much applauded series are good -- gentle, colorful and interactive, with nothing but positive messages. According to ...
Baby Einstein is a line of multimedia products and toys that specialize in interactive activities for preschool viewers aged 4 years old and younger. Subjects music, art, language, science, and mathematics are prominently explored. These products are currently made by a division of the Walt Disney Company, marketed under the slogan, "Great minds start little". The Baby Einstein Company pays a significant amount of money to Corbis, on behalf of the estate of renowned physicist Albert Einstein, for the use of the Einstein name, though the products have virtually nothing to do with Einstein or his work (however, Disney uses a disclaimer that Einstein is a trademark of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem The Baby Einstein Company was founded in 1997 by stay-at-home mom and former teacher Julie Aigner-Clark at her home in suburban Alpharetta, Georgia, asJulie Aigner-Clark Films.[2] Aigner-Clark and her husband, Bill Clark, invested $18,000 of their savings to produce the initial product, a Video Board Book, a VHS entitled Baby Einstein, later sold as Language Nursery. The original video shows a variety of toys and visuals interspersed with music, stories, numbers, and words of many languages. Eventually, the video was marketed across the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia. Other videos followed, some featuring the Clarks' two daughters, Aspen & Sierra, among other children. Also featuring toys by Ambi, Brio, Folkmanis, Dakin, Chimes, Battat, Tomy, Legends and Lore, among others. Baby Einstein became a multi-million dollar franchise; its revenue grew from $1 million in 1998[3] to around $10 million in 2000.[4] Aigner-Clark renamed the company to The Baby Einstein Company in January 1998, and sold a 20% stake in the company to Artisan Entertainment and Family Home Entertainment in February 2000 and sold the rest to The Walt Disney Company for an undisclosed amount in November 2001.[5] The franchise is named after and pays significant royalties to the estate of deceased physicist Albert Einstein, putting him in the top 5 of most earning dead celebrities, according to Forbes.[6] At one point in 2009, the brand was estimated to be worth nearly 400 million dollars based on revenues. Julie was named Entrepreneur of the Year and won various awards for her products, which are the number one selling brand (1 in three households with babies in the US own at least one Baby Einstein product) of videos for very young children.[citation needed] Julie has appeared in many media outlets, including Oprah, GMA, The Today Show and USA Today. On January 23, 2007 The Baby Einstein Company was mentioned in the State of the Union address by President George W. Bush. Aigner-Clark, along with other notable U.S. citizens, was invited to sit in the gallery during the speech, and was recognized by Bush during his presentation to the nation. As a subsidiary of Disney, the production budgets were increased and the concept was expanded to include a wide range of themes. A line of educational toys were also developed. In 2005, the franchise inspired a Disney Junior animated television series called Little Einsteins. Hey guys! It's Michelle here. I managed to create my first ASMR. During the recording I couldn't remember the full the name, now I do. It's called Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. This or these are supposed to calm you and even bring a tingly sensation. A lot of people say it helps them with anxiety and that's great! This my first try and while it may not be great, I hope it at least entertains or relaxes you! I plan on doing more in the future. I'm also Christian and many of my ASMR's will involve Christian elements or themes. I intend to bring healing and peace to the mind and emotions of many and in the end I want you all to relax. Anyway take a listen, if you have advice please feel free (also please be polite and clean for others and not just me). I'm a newbie :3. Take care! Also I do more besides ASMR, please feel to read in my About page and follow me on the other social places or subscribe!

But a quick peek into the rhythm of his words reveals a poet deeply rooted in the way people spoke in his time — and still speak today. Why do Shakespeare’s words have such staying power? David T. Freeman and Gregory Taylor uncover the power of iambic pentameter. Lesson by David T. Freeman and Gregory Taylor, animation by Brad Purnell.

WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE is the most celebrated and most read poet and dramatist in history, but his personal life and artistic life is a mystery. How did he obtain the extensive learning and experience displayed in his works? When were his plays written and why were his works so often pirated by printers? Although publicly lauded during his lifetime, why was Shakespeare's death not noticed by those in the literary world near the time that it had occurred? These are only a few problems that the Shakespeare professor cannot answer definitively after two centuries of scholarship. Much contemporary evidence, however, is available that can shed light on many of these problems -- evidence that gets ignored because it does not fit the experts' picture of Shakespeare. This evidence overwhelmingly indicates that 'William Shakespeare' was the great author's pen name, and that he was a nobleman. It shows that he wrote decades earlier than believed, and initially for the private entertainment of Queen Elizabeth I and her court. The pen name idea is easy enough to grasp, but it becomes more complex and tangled by the fact that there was another man, christened 'William Shakspere', who lived during the same period. A resident of Stratford-upon-Avon, this man was involved in acting companies and theaters in London. Not one shred of evidence, however, proves the 'Stratford Man' was the great author during his lifetime, and neither he nor his descendents ever made such a claim. These two very different men merged into one identity after both of their deaths, and it was no accident. The lack of hard facts about Shakespeare and his career has caused the experts to write biographies full of fiction and fantasy. Those who love and appreciate Shakespeare deserve better. Fully documented, The book Shakespeare Suppressed is a valuable resource for those who want to learn the unadulterated truth about Shakespeare and his works. The book debunks the experts' case for the Stratford Man as the great author, and exposes the misleading preface of the First Folio. Features an appendix detailing 93 'too early' allusions to the plays that destroy orthodox composition dates, and 27 plates.

HAMLET by William Shakespeare - FULL AudioBook | Greatest Audio Books - The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark is a tragic play by William Shakespeare. Set in the Kingdom of Denmark, the play dramatizes the revenge Prince Hamlet exacts on his uncle Claudius for murdering King Hamlet, Claudius's brother and Prince Hamlet's father, and then succeeding to the throne and taking as his wife Gertrude, the old king's widow and Prince Hamlet's mother. The play vividly portrays both true and feigned madness -- from overwhelming grief to seething rage -- and explores themes of treachery, revenge, incest, and moral corruption. Henry VIII - FULL Audio Book - William Shakespeare SUBSCRIBE to https://www.youtube.com/user/GreenAudioBooks - Henry VIII is a history play generally believed to be a collaboration between William Shakespeare and John Fletcher, based on the life of Henry VIII of England. An alternative title, All is True, is recorded in contemporary documents, the title Henry VIII not appearing until the play's publication in the First Folio of 1623. Stylistic evidence indicates that individual scenes were written by either Shakespeare or his collaborator and successor, John Fletcher. It is also somewhat characteristic of the late romances in its structure. It is noted for having more stage directions than any of Shakespeare's other plays. During a performance of Henry VIII at the Globe Theatre in 1613, a cannon shot employed for special effects ignited the theatre's thatched roof (and the beams), burning the original building to the ground. - As usual in his history plays, Shakespeare relied primarily on Raphael Holinshed's Chronicles to achieve his dramatic ends and to accommodate official sensitivities over the materials involved.[2] Shakespeare not only telescoped events that occurred over a span of two decades, but jumbled their actual order. The play implies, without stating it directly, that the treason charges against the Duke of Buckingham were false and trumped up; and it maintains a comparable ambiguity about other sensitive issues. The disgrace and beheading of Anne Boleyn (here spelled Bullen) is carefully avoided, and no indication of the succeeding four wives of Henry VIII can be found in the play. However, Katherine of Aragon's plea to Henry before the Legatine Court seems to have been taken straight from historical record. - The play opens with a Prologue, (a figure otherwise unidentified), who stresses that the audience will see a serious play, and appeals to the audience members, "The first and happiest hearers of the town," to "Be sad, as we would make ye." Act I opens with a conversation between the Dukes of Norfolk and Buckingham and Lord Abergavenny. Their speeches express their mutual resentment over the ruthless power and overweening pride of Cardinal Wolsey. Wolsey passes over the stage with his attendants, and expresses his own hostility toward Buckingham. Later Buckingham is arrested on treason charges— Wolsey's doing. The play's second scene introduces King Henry VIII, and shows his reliance on Wolsey as his favourite. Queen Katherine enters to protest about Wolsey's abuse of the tax system for his own purposes; Wolsey defends himself, but when the King revokes the Cardinal's measures, Wolsey spreads a rumour that he himself is responsible for the King's action. Katherine also challenges the arrest of Buckingham, but Wolsey defends the arrest by producing the Duke's Surveyor, the primary accuser. After hearing the Surveyor, the King orders Buckingham's trial to occur. At a banquet thrown by Wolsey, the King and his attendants enter in disguise as masquers. The King dances with Anne Boleyn. Two anonymous Gentlemen open Act II, one giving the other an account of Buckingham's treason trial. Buckingham himself enters in custody after his conviction, and makes his farewells to his followers and to the public. After his exit, the two Gentlemen talk about court gossip, especially Wolsey's hostility toward Katherine. The next scene shows Wolsey beginning to move against the Queen, while the nobles Norfolk and Suffolk look on critically. Wolsey introduces Cardinal Campeius and Gardiner to the King; Campeius has come to serve as a judge in the trial Wolsey is arranging for Katherine. Anne Boleyn is shown conversing with the Old Lady who is her attendant. Anne expresses her sympathy at the Queen's troubles; but then the Lord Chamberlain enters to inform her that the King has made her Marchioness of Pembroke. Once the Lord Chamberlain leaves, the Old Lady jokes about Anne's sudden advancement in the King's favour. A lavishly-staged trial scene portrays Katherine's hearing before the King and his courtiers. Katherine reproaches Wolsey for his machinations against her, and refuses to stay for the proceedings. But the King defends Wolsey, and states that it was his own doubts about the legitimacy of their marriage that led to the trial. Campeius protests that the hearing cannot continue in the Queen's absence, and the King grudgingly adjourns the proceeding. Wolsey and Campeius confront Katherine among her ladies-in-waiting; Katherine makes an emotional protest about her treatment. - If you enjoyed listening to "Henry VII - FULL Audio Book - William Shakespeare" please rate, comment and subscribe to GreenAudioBooks, We really appreciate it :) Thanks for viewing Henry VII - FULL Audio Book - William Shakespeare We hope you enjoyed Henry VII - FULL Audio Book - William Shakespeare Audio is courtesy of Librivox. Merchant of Venice - FULL Audio Book - by William Shakespeare (1564-1616) SUBSCRIBE to https://www.youtube.com/user/GreenAudioBooks - The Merchant of Venice is a tragic comedy by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written between 1596 and 1598. Though classified as a comedy in the First Folio and sharing certain aspects with Shakespeare's other romantic comedies, the play is perhaps most remembered for its dramatic scenes, and is best known for Shylock and the famous 'Hath not a Jew eyes' speech. Also notable is Portia's speech about the 'quality of mercy'. The title character is the merchant Antonio, not the Jewish moneylender Shylock, who is the play's most prominent and most famous character. This is made explicit by the title page of the first quarto: The most excellent History of the Merchant of Venice. With the extreme cruelty of Shylock the Jew towards the Merchant.... - SYNOPSIS Bassanio, a young Venetian of noble rank, wishes to woo the beautiful and wealthy heiress Portia of Belmont. Having squandered his estate, Bassanio approaches his friend Antonio, a wealthy merchant of Venice and a kind and generous person, who has previously and repeatedly bailed him out, for three thousand ducats needed to subsidise his expenditures as a suitor. Antonio agrees, but since he is cash-poor - his ships and merchandise are busy at sea - he promises to cover a bond if Bassanio can find a lender, so Bassanio turns to the Jewish moneylender Shylock and names Antonio as the loan's guarantor. Shylock, who hates Antonio because of his Anti-Judaism and Antonio's customary refusal to borrow or lend money with interest, is at first reluctant, citing abuse he has suffered at Antonio's hand, but finally agrees to lend Antonio the sum without interest upon the condition that if Antonio is unable to repay it at the specified date, he may take a pound of Antonio's flesh. Bassanio does not want Antonio to accept such a risky condition; Antonio is surprised by what he sees as the moneylender's generosity (no "usance" -- interest -- is asked for), and he signs the contract. With money at hand, Bassanio leaves for Belmont with his friend Gratiano, who has asked to accompany him. Gratiano is a likeable young man, but is often flippant, overly talkative, and tactless. Bassanio warns his companion to exercise self-control, and the two leave for Belmont and Portia. Meanwhile in Belmont, Portia is awash with suitors. Her father left a will stipulating each of her suitors must choose correctly from one of three caskets -- one each of gold, silver and lead. If he picks the right casket, he gets Portia. The first suitor, the luxurious Prince of Morocco, chooses the gold casket, interpreting its slogan "Who chooseth me shall gain what many men desire" as referring to Portia. The second suitor, the conceited Prince of Arragon, chooses the silver casket, which proclaims "Who chooseth me shall get as much as he deserves", imagining himself to be full of merit. Both suitors leave empty-handed, having rejected the lead casket because of the baseness of its material and the uninviting nature of its slogan: "Who chooseth me must give and hazard all he hath." The last suitor is Bassanio, whom Portia wishes to succeed, having met him before. As Bassanio ponders his choice, members of Portia's household sing a song which says that "fancy" (not true love) is "engend'red in the eyes, With gazing fed.",[1] prompting Bassanio to disregard "outward shows" and "ornament" and choses the lead casket, winning Portia's hand. At Venice, Antonio's ships are reported lost at sea. This leaves him unable to satisfy the bond. Shylock is even more determined to exact revenge from Christians after his daughter Jessica had fled home and eloped with the Christian Lorenzo, taking a substantial amount of Shylock's wealth with her, as well as a turquoise ring which was a gift to Shylock from his late wife, Leah. Shylock has Antonio brought before court. - If you enjoyed listening to "Merchant of Venice - FULL Audio Book - by William Shakespeare (1564-1616)" please rate, comment and subscribe to GreenAudioBooks, We really appreciate it :) Thanks for viewing Merchant of Venice - FULL Audio Book - by William Shakespeare (1564-1616) We hope you enjoyed Merchant of Venice - FULL Audio Book - by William Shakespeare (1564-1616) Audio is courtesy of Librivox. The CBS Radio Workshop was an experimental dramatic radio anthology series that aired on CBS from January 27, 1956, until September 22, 1957. Subtitled “radio’s distinguished series to man’s imagination,” it was a revival of the earlier Columbia Workshop, broadcast by CBS from 1936 to 1943, and it used some of the same writers and directors employed on the earlier series. The CBS Radio Workshop was one of American network radio's last attempts to hold onto, and perhaps recapture, some of the demographics they had lost to television in the post-World War Two era. Music for the series was composed by Bernard Herrmann, Jerry Goldsmith, Amerigo Moreno, Ray Noble and Leith Stevens. Other writers adapted to the series included Robert A. Heinlein, Sinclair Lewis, H. L. Mencken, Edgar Allan Poe, Frederik Pohl, James Thurber, Mark Twain and Thomas Wolfe. About Shakespeare In Love: Young Will Shakespeare is the up and coming playwright of the time, but has been disastrously struck by the bane of the writer's life - writer's block. What Will needs is a muse, and she appears in the form of the beautiful and bethrothed Lady Viola. The path of true love does not run smooth for Will, but the joys and tragedy of his own life find their way onto the page in a moving, witty and spellbinding tale. Bolingbroke accuses Mowbray of many crimes, but especially the murder of his uncle the Duke of Gloucester. The Duchess of Gloucester pleads with John of Gaunt to avenge the murder of her husband (Gaunt's brother)--Gaunt refuses, revealing that King Richard himself killed Gloucester. A formal duel is arranged to settle the dispute between Bolingbroke and Mowbray. But King Richard halts the duel and hastily decides to banish Bolingbroke for six years, and Mowbray for life. The King surrounds himself with flatterers (Aumerle, Bushy, Green) whom the nobles, especially John of Gaunt, his brother York, and Northumberland, bitterly denounce. When the beloved John of Gaunt dies, Richard confiscates his property, denying the banished Bolingbroke his inheritance. York and the leading nobles are outraged. Richard's kingdom is in disarray, and yet he now departs to wage a war in Ireland, leaving his uncle the Duke of York in charge. But he leaves York no men or money to uphold his government. Northumberland leads the nobles in revolt against Richard while he is in Ireland and assists Henry Bolingbroke's return to England. The aggrieved nobles back Henry, who executes Richard's main backers. Richard falls into despair when he returns to England and sees all his supporters are dead or fled to Henry. The Duke of York (uncle to both Richard and Henry) also reluctantly backs Henry. Richard is deeply tortured by the loss of his crown which he believes he wears by divine right. He and his Queen learn that even the common people have abandoned him. He at last abdicates to Henry. He is publicly humiliated and imprisoned, and tearfully separated from his Queen, who is banished to France. Henry IV assumes royal power, executing many of Richard's followers, but pardoning the treacherous Duke of Aumerle (son of York) at the urgent behest of his mother the Duchess of York. In prison, Richard compares his prison to the world, and reflects on his sins and fate. He is attacked by assassins, defends himself bravely, but is killed by Exton. When his body is brought to King Henry, he repudiates the murder and vows to purge this crime by a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

Shakespeare was born and brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon. At the age of 18, he married Anne Hathaway, with whom he had three children: Susanna, and twins Hamnet and Judith. Between 1585 and 1592, he began a successful career in London as an actor, writer, and part owner of a playing company called the Lord Chamberlain's Men, later known as the King's Men. He appears to have retired to Stratford around 1613 at age 49, where he died three years later. Few records of Shakespeare's private life survive, and there has been considerable speculation about such matters as his physical appearance, sexuality, religious beliefs, and whether the works attributed to him were written by others.
I saw you there, so beautiful
You stopped and stared, so magical
Then you asked me for my name
And we took an uptown train
Before you leave, get up to go
I wanna know
Do you like Shakespeare, Jeff Buckely
Watching movies on Sunday?
Do you like kissing when it's raining
Making faces in the station?
Do you like, I need to know
What do you like, before you go?
You walk me home, so wonderful
It starts to snow, it's incredible
Now we're walking up my street
And you slowly turn to me
You're three inches from my lips
But before we do this
Do you like Shakespeare, Jeff Buckely
Watching movies on Sunday?
Do you like kissing when it's raining
Making faces in the station?
Do you like, I need to know
What do you like, before you go? Oh, oh
Show me the place where you come from
And the places you dream of
I wanna know everything you are
But before we get that far
What do you like? I need to know
What do you like before you go?
Do you like Shakespeare, Jeff Buckely
Watching movies on Sunday?
Do you like kissing when it's raining
Making faces in the station?
'Cause I like Shakespeare, Jeff Buckely
Watching movies on Sunday
Kissing when it's raining
Making faces in the station
What do you like?
Nigger listen, when I spit on the riddem, I kill em,
Raw like the Ball of Brazilians,
You don't war, cor the kids brilliant,
Blood, I'm the heir to the throne,
Not William, Akala, smart as King Arthur,
Darker, harder, faster,
Rasclaat, I kick the illa shit,
It's like Shakespeare, with a nigger twist,
Lyricist, I'm the best on the road,
Nitro flow, oh-so-cold, I'm a blow yo,
Keep the hoes, I only want dough homes,
Nobody close, I'm alone in my own zone,
No no love for the po-po,
Loco when I rock mics solo,
I hope that you know, where you don't go thoe,
Want it with Bolo? Must be coco,
It's William back from the dead,
But I rap bout gats and I'm black instead,
It's Shakespeare, reincarnated,
Except I spit flows and strip hoes naked,
No fakin'-test my blood bruv,
It's William, back as a tug cause,
So real the shit I kick now,
Plus I don't rite, I recite my shit now,
Straight from the top, expert timin'
On top of that now, the whole things rhymin'
No more tights, now jeans saggin'
If I say so myself, I'm much more handsome,
Don't ever compare me to rappers,
I'm so quick-witted that I split em like fractions,
My shit, I tell em like this...
It's like Shakespeare with a nigger twist...
[Chorus:]
I get you pumped up,
Feelin' like you drunk drunk,
When my beats bump bump,
Lyrics hit like skunk blunts blood, now
All the shit I kick, so crazy,
There ain't no ifs and maybe's,
Spit poetry so shady,
For lords on road and my hood ladies,
Pumped up, feelin' like you drunk drunk,
When my beats bump bump,
Lyrics hit like skunk blunts blood, now
All the shit I kick, so crazy,
There ain't no ifs and maybe's,
Spit poetry so shady,
For lords on road and my hood ladies.
I'm similar to William, but a little different,
I do it for kids that's illiterate, not Elizabeth,
Stuck on the road, faces screwed up,
Feel like the world spat em out, and they
Chewed up,
It's a matrix, I try and explain it,
But on a real thoe still ready blaze em,
No contradiction just face it,
They so enslaved, they are worse than a agent,
I grace stages, sharp as razors,
Don't get cut cause, keep ya distance,
No artillery, tryna' be militant,
Ya'll dudes killin' me, think that ya killin' it,
It's embarrassing watchin you babblin,
Keep spittin ya darts, mine is javelins,
The hood Tiger Woods too milly,
Number 1 for so long, it's just getting' silly,
Shit kinda like Bruce with da knuckles,
Like the first time ya ever saw Ali shuffle,
You don't trouble, left layin in a puddle,
Bruv you are havin a bubble,
I'm a whole different kettle of fish,
Thou shall not fuck with dis,
My shit, I tell em like this...
It's like Shakespeare with a nigger tiwst.
[Chorus]
To be fair, no MC close to the man,
Little just come yout's jumpin out of they pram,
Everybody badman, behind a mic stand,
It's not creative, one bag of hype, and
If you buss a ting, where's the mash?
Move so much food? Where's the cats?
These dudes ain't real, they just rap,
I don't spit what I don't know,
Just the facts,
No talks of rocks I ain't sold,
Shots I ain't blown,
My business ridiculous,
Sick with it, quick witted,
Companies head to head an liquidate it,
Welcome to illa state, meet ya fate mate,
Talk truth but we don't play games,
Move sick, look sample techno,
Never pull a ting, if it ain't gonna let go,
That's that, rap track,
Clap ya like a black gat,
Back chat, crack back,
I'm the nigger, that's that,
The rest of these kids is irrelevant,
Don't compare me to him,
That's just beggin' it,
I'm on my own shit,
Dicks ain't spit,
It's no democracy, dictatorship,
So dicks hate my shit,
I'm sick, raise ya spliff,
I'm swift, blaze em quick,
My hits, major shit,
I flip phrases quick,
My sick razor shit,
Give thick grazes quick,
And chicks say he's cris,
It's not a rumour,
That kid Akala,
No not "Ack-a-la", beg ya pardon,
Don't get it twisted,
Your on the sideline like a mistress,
I'm the whizzkid, with the sick shit,
My shit, I tell em like this,
