I-GO is a Chicago-based not-for-profit car sharing organization. I-GO was established in 2002 by the Center for Neighborhood Technology, is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to creating and implementing new strategies that make urban communities more livable and environmentally sustainable.
I-GO’s mission is to reduce car ownership rates, decrease transportation costs, reduce urban congestion and improve air quality in Chicago. Since its inception, I-GO has worked to catalyze a set of transportation innovations that make it feasible and desirable for Chicago residents to get around conveniently and economically without having to own a car and, at the same time, reduce vehicle miles traveled and greenhouse gas emissions. By contributing to the environmental improvement of the Chicago area and the decrease in expenses for residents, I-GO's triple bottom line impact provides a significant social return on investment.
I-GO currently has cars located in approximately 30 Chicago neighborhoods. I-GO members can reserve a vehicle online or by calling I-GO's customer service. Members can also create and modify their reservations using smart phones. Once a reservation has been created, the member can access the reserved car using a member card, use the car and then return it to the same location. Members pay a one-time fee to join, an annual renewal fee, and are then billed by the hour for their use of I-GO cars; specific rates vary depending on type of plan. Gas and insurance are both included in I-GO's rates. As of June 2009, I-GO had more than 12,000 members and 185 cars available for use.

Ruth Moody is an Australian-born soprano singer-songwriter and member of the Canadian folk trio The Wailin' Jennys.
Moody grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her parents, Charles and Marcelline, and three siblings, older brother Richard (The Bills), older sister Jane and younger sister Rachel. She was trained classically from the age of four but unlike her two sisters and brother she did not take to a stringed instrument, and from her mid-teens began to train vocally instead. In 1993 she began to study English and French literature at university with the intent of becoming a teacher like both her parents. She changed her course in 1996 and decided to forge a life out of folk music instead.
Moody's first band was the Juno-nominated roots band Scruj MacDuhk, for whom she was lead singer from 1997 until the group's break up in 2001. After this split Ruth began to focus on her songwriting and picked up the guitar, adding it to her repertoire of piano, bodhran, accordion and banjo. It was also at this time that she started a musical collaboration with Nicky Mehta and Cara Luft. In 2002 the three took to the stage as The Wailin' Jennys. The Jennys (now Ruth Moody, Nicky Mehta and New York-based Heather Masse) have won international critical acclaim and numerous awards including Juno awards for their albums 40 Days and Bright Morning Stars. They have toured in North America, Europe and Australia.

I GO when the moment hits.
I GO for the high.
I GO and I live for it.
And I’ll go until I die.
While I’m still around, I’ll break down doors – take leaps and bounds
‘Cos all that matters is this present day.
Oh, the sweet sensation of welcome change is pure elation.
It sends me into overdrive and says – let’s go.
I GO and enjoy the ride.
I GO for the fun.
I GO with passion, love, and pride,
And I GO until I’m done.
I GO when the moment hits.
I GO for the high.
I GO and I live for it.
And I’ll go until I die.
There it goes again, that sudden urge to meet my friend.
I shed my skin and feel the impulse surge.
It is so enticing – I eat my cake with lots of icing.
The difference is the one I’m gonna make – so let’s go.
My blood is up – I’ll call it out!
I’ll rant and rave and scream and shout!
When I GO, I GO wild with all I’ve got.
I GO when the moment hits.
I GO for the high.
I GO and I live for it.
And I’ll go until I die.
I GO and enjoy the ride.
I GO for the fun.
I GO with passion, love, and pride,
And I GO until I’m done.
I GO until I’m done.
I GO when the moment hits.
I GO for the high.
I GO and I live for it.
And I’ll go until I die.
So long, fare thee well
The dancer and the dancing days have taken leave and fell
So turn down this bed of stone
Quench me with the deadly nightshade from the rose that you belong
The long December rain is falling now
Running down on streets to nowhere
Music is my life
You're my sweetest nightingale
But I can't hear it here no more
And I go...
I go...
Hush now, don't shake or break
Words have fallen silent like soldiers to the grave
No matter what they do or say
Lay me on the sleepy meadows by the tracks upon your face
The long December rain is falling now
Running down on streets to nowhere
Music is my life
You're my sweetest nightingale
But I can't hear it here no more
And I go...
I go...
The long December rain is falling now
Running down on streets to nowhere
Music is my life
You're my sweetest nightingale
But I can't hear it here no more
And I go...
I go...
I go...
I go...
