Giddy Susanna Reid can't hide her excitement as she interviews David Beckham like an eager child The Good Morning Britain presenter didn't even try to hide her excitement as she sat down with the heartthrob - and Twitter has shown quite the reaction We'd hardly be the picture of calm and poise if we had the delightful task of sitting less than a metre from David Beckham for a lengthy interview - but Susanna Reid is something else entirely. The presenter invited the former footballer on to Good Morning Britain today, and she was like an excited kid in a sweet shop - not that we blame her. Speaking to the dad-of-four about his day to day family life, including David's rather surprising declaration that he's an 'embarrassing dad' , Susanna could barely hide her grin as she giggled her way through the interview. Twitter loved it, with one user writing of her interview: "How embarrassing", while another added: "Susanna Reid is like a giggly schoolgirl as she quizzes David Beckham on family life" The former footballer opened up about his happy family life on Good Morning Britain today, and while he couldn't hide his pride at his brood, he did admit they've come to blows in the past over his 'embarrassing dad' tendencies. And there was us thinking it was just our dads who left us red-faced at the school gates. Admitting he likes to embarrass his kids whenever possible, the heartthrob told Susanna Reid: “Secretly I kiss him [Brooklyn] on the cheek, he doesn’t really want too much affection but I still kiss him.” Some seriously good reactions here In fact, it got so bad, Brooklyn asked his dad to drop him off at school around the corner. Amazing. David admitted: “I wasn’t happy about it because I’d got up at seven in the morning to take him to school so I dropped him round the corner, and as he was walking into school I opened the window and shouted ‘I love you!’ to him. "It didn't go down too well but it made him smile a couple of days later.” He added of his eldest son's upcoming 16th birthday: “I think he wants to go for a dinner with his friends and he’ll have a separate dinner with his family because he’s at the age now when he doesn’t want me to drop him outside the school and things like that - which I definitely do anyway!” But despite having one of the most famous fathers in the world, David said his kids are all just like any others. “Without a doubt, my children from time to time do get ‘sore throats’ in the morning, especially when there is certain things happening at school or their dad is going to play some game. They definitely try to get out of school," he said on the show. He launched a new fund to help children at risk, and the 7 fund will focus on seven separate countries and target malnutrition, HIV and AIDS, poor sanitation and health.
