Hi Smooth Groovers, Here's another not for profit - commercial free Best Smooth Jazz radio show host by Rod Lucas from Tower Bridge London. This video is subject to a copyright dispute between me and UMG music over a track I played from Oscar Peterson. They are threatening to delete the soundtrack to this video because I played "Summertime" by Oscar Peterson. Why they would want to stop younger people from hearing this great artist, I have no idea. Folly in indeed. Peterson is a worldwide treasure and no one company should deny his talent from being enjoyed. I hope the mute of thiis video is lifted. Legal Copyright Notice from Rod Lucas Best Smooth Jazz is a 'not for profit' radio program from London UK that features the Smooth Jazz genre. Please look upon this claim sympathetically in terms of Fair Usae "This video is fair use under U.S. copyright law because it is noncommercial and transformative in nature, uses no more of the original than necessary, and has no negative effect on the market for the original work." The show promotes Smooth Jazz and the artist recordings featured in it.I also pay PRS & PPL music authority music royalties worldwide. So artists get paid for the music featured. The commercial free program claims "Fair usage " (copyright law EU/USA) of all musical works featured by; 1) changing the original form (transforming) of musical works by the host thus changing their original form. 2) reviewing items played and commenting on them expanding and enhancing the original material. 3) creating added value for the art form used either new and older works. 4) alerting the audience to new works by new artists and informing younger listeners to older material featured on Best Smooth Jazz. 5) promoting the art form of Smooth Jazz and supporting new artists by exposing their talent in a restricted broadcast market world-wide. 6) exposing these musical works BSJ helps artists, record companies & music publishers by creating more sales. 7) criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research into items used. 8) Playing selected tracks are featured from the whole album CD works. 9) improving the market for the original work. 10) making Best Smooth Jazz not for profit and commercial free 11) making tracks unavailable to be download by audience in whole or part. 12) Making the musical works transformative in nature 13) Moreover playing this video on a mobile device (where it is currently blocked) is also fair use as there are no legal distinctions between PC's or mobile devices under US copyright law. 14) Adding educational value to the work providing more information related to the musical work. Many Smooth Jazz artists have little or no exposure and thus Smooth Jazz is niche, not main stream. Best Smooth Jazz improves the market of the original work and can only help the record companies and interested parties to gain sales by the reviews and exposure Best Smooth Jazz brings these new and older works.

Imelda May and her band at the isle of wight music festival 2011
IMELDA MAY, born in Dublin, Ireland and raised in the Liberties, may be an unknown name to some, but to many she is already a superstar. She is unmistakable both in her music (a fusion of surf guitars, blues and rockabilly that wouldn't be out of place in a David Lynch film) and her style, with a solitary curl and shock of blonde in her jet black hair. In Ireland, her debut album 'Love Tattoo', which she recorded and released on her own label, has gone Triple Platinum. APRIL VERCH is a dynamic award winning Canadian fiddler, singer and stepdancer. With her band, she plays a traditional and original repertoire that is deeply rooted in the style she grew up with in the Ottawa Valley region of Ontario. She became the first woman in history to win both of Canada's most prestigious fiddle championships, The Gran Masters and Canadian Open; and when Canada hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics, she was asked to represent her country's music at the opening ceremonies.
Filmed on June 9, 2010 at the Irridium Jazz Club in New York City, forever associated with the legendary Les Paul, this Film captures Jeff Beck celebrating the great man with a selection of Les Paul songs and other great rock 'n' roll tracks on what would have been Les Paul's 95th birthday. Jeff Beck is joined by some very special guests including Imelda May and her band led by Darrel Higham on many of the tracks plus appearances by Gary US Bonds, Brian Setzer and Trombone Shorty. The intimate setting puts you right there in the audience for a performance featuring stunning musicianship and truly great songs.

On Tuesday the 9th of July, 2013 McMahon performed to a packed Cork Marquee in front of 5000 people as the support act for Imelda May. This was his first proper 'big gig' and only the second time he'd performed with his very talented band - Patrick Murdoch, Geoff Holroyde, Sam Swallow, Vezzio Bacci, Barnaby Dickinson, Graeme Flowers and best friend and co-song writer Darren Kirwan. Hard to believe really! His performance was flawless and he certainly rocked his hometown! Check it out! Big things to come from in the future for sure!

I don't know if this first aired in 1994 or 1995. I have the promo cd and it's dated 1994. This could be 1994 or 1995. I loved this entire album. From start to finish. Vocally, he's one of the best as far as male r&b; voices goes. He has what I call TT which is tone and technique. Without a unique and distinctive tone or technique you're "just another singer." Late 80's to mid 90's, Tony was it for me. We often wonder what happened to our favorite artists and why things don't work out, but it's more to them just "quitting." A lot of behind the scenes stuff happens and there's nothing they can do about it. He's gone on record a few times talking about that too. Personally, I LOVED this performance. I would've preferred to hear the Denair Radio Version because I like the vocals a lot better, but this is nice. He was a little pitchy during the beginning of the performance. The audience wasn't really feeling it overall. Maybe they wanted the With You Tony? By this time, R. Kelly and broths like that were dominating the airwaves. Tony was kind of grey when trying to move with the time. I don't know what happened, but the performance got cut short. The second verse isn't here. He did a really nice run when he said, we're just like little boys..... 20 years later and it's still all good. We ain't just gon let r&b; die and VOCALS will come back for 2015. @mrtonyterry +mrtonyterry

IT'S GETTING OUT OF ORDER
THE NEW WORLD ORDER
Gimme the reason why it was brother season
Within Easton yo I strive to survive to kill the
feeling
Yeah some brothers buggin' money mad trying to look
dappa
Selling shit giving out licks or pimping out the
slappa's
So for the first chapters I reminisce for a deceased
Who died for one lve balling our peace!
Or my brother who got blast in his chest for fate
Shakespeare said life is a stage I call it fate
Well anyway I kinda WATCHING MY BACK CAUSE I'M watching
my front cause certain
friends are full of crap
yeah It's a damn shame with their mind games
Plus no life aims here this rudeboy I dis em out like
cocaine
They got crap aims and crap reason's to fight me
Because they like.. Move yourself I ain't no patzie
Yeah.... Its kinda strange how some people change
While societies spitting faster than a Terry's
chocolate orange
Chuh cause someone once said life ain't fair
i care for my brothers but brothers don't care
So yo I live by God and not he gun
And get ready for the forth coming talking with my son
about the seeds
Seeds have got to grow
Seeds YOU'VE got to know
Seeds have got to grow
Seeds YOU'VE got to know
Seeds have got to grow
Seeds YOU'VE got to know
Seeds have got to grow
Seeds YOU'VE got to know
Blunted on reality meditate to the system
But when he's born like Kuntah Kenteh watch me lift him
To the stars and the pLanets and not tha phallic's
Just sun, stars and talks about Mars I got to have it
The only bit of innocence that I ever had
From my a semen from my father from HIS grandads
Grandson in London to educate one not just books
I travelled the world like lisa not dumb
While sucker sippah's living life for face value
Think yourbrand new but you ain't changing so damn you
Lost souls who never moved on with their shoes on
In a situation that they can't improve on
Kinda sad situation bad if you live like THAT that shit
can send you mad
So yo I don't because I won't so watch me buss
This power in perception rudeboy and not justice
That's why I love this documentary on reality
Within society my principality is
To live by God and not the gun
And get ready for the forth coming
Talking with my son about HIS
Seeds
JUST TALKIN' WITH MY SON ABOUT HIS SEEDS
YES, SIR
SO, YO, I LIVE BY GOD AND NOT THE GUN
AND GET READY FOR THE FORTHCOMING
TALKING WITH MY SON ABOUT HIS SEEDS
(SHINE LIGHT)
Back on street guying off phony personAS
Leave me alone as the spirituality dead smelling
aroma's of frauds
Got caught in the ego and didn't see the cloud
On that robert de niro mate talking out loud
Acting to put the fear right back in
Your cerebellum but first I tell 'em facts
And certain heads are swelling
Because they don't like the rythm
For some it's easier to tell than to listen so listen
Realism and truth ain't the same wave
Within the brainwave check the difference
the order is to maintain
Throughout the struggle and the strife
Because "if" is the middle word within the word "life"
word life
So I live by God and not the gun
So I live by God and not the gun
So I live by God and not the gun
And get ready for the forth coming
Talking with my son about the
Rescue me, help me
Won't you reach for me, hold me
Lead the way for me, show me
How to love
Much to learn, now I've lost my love
Teach me how to forgive
When all seems lost for us
Patience means nothing
I've lost that virtue now
I have no reasons left in this world
To haste for now
Rescue me, help me
Won't you reach for me, hold me
Lead the way for me, show me
How to love
Develop me, from this waste that I am
Only flesh with no meaning, each breath without feeling
Each heart a lie
Draw from me what little goodness is left
And mould it to a form that fits your purpose best
Rescue me, help me
Won't you reach for me hold me
Lead the way for me, show me
How to love
Rescue me, help me
Won't you reach for me hold me
Lead the way for me, show me
How to love
Much to learn, now I've lost my love
Teach me how to forgive
When all has been lost for us
Surely you know and you only may care
That a love that is lost has mademe its heir
In limbo waltz I, in sorrow I lie
Only flesh with no meaning, each breath without feeling
Each heart beat a lie
Rescue me, help me
Won't you reach for me, hold me
Lead the way for me, show me
How to love
lead the way, help me, hold me, show me
How to love, take me, teach me
Oh yeah ee... Alright ah ah ah ... oh GOD Knows
No justice ... tice ...tice .. Oh yeah X2
The reason why our lives they are so rough
Because the system is unjust
And the reason why the system is unjust
Because it's not made for us (repeat)
Many they flight for equal rights, no end in sight
Some hold the power so tight, and live alife that's nice
Who pays the price ?
You've got to fight, with all your might for what is right
It is your life, you have a choice you've got a voice
No justice no peace if equal rights and justice is what you seek
No justice no peace the power to the people they must be released
(repeat)
No justice ... tice ...tice
No justice ... tice ...tice
No justice no peace if equal rights and justice is what you seek
No justice no peace the power to the people they must be released
(repeat)
(repeat first verse X2 )
The reason why our lives they are so rough
Because the system is unjust
And the reason why the system is unjust
'Cause it's a fraud and a bogus
Fraud and a bogus, fraud and a bogus
No justice ... tice ...tice
Let's go
You should learn to hang around
Something might happen
If you stood still and listened
Something might speak to you
You move, you run
You move, you run
You move, you run
Oh you move but I can see the tracks
They go in circles
It takes a big strong noise to reach you
Something to penetrate your walls
That you built when you went up high
And even from there you could see that I
I wanted to try
I wanted to try
I wanted to try
I know you could see that I wanted to try
If you stop moving things around
Something might move you
If you stop moving people around
Something might move you
You move, you run
You move, you run
You move, you run
Oh you move but I can see the tracks
They go in circles
All of the new stuff you bring you brought it before
But you don't even know
Because you're floating on another high
But even from there you could see that I
I wanted to try
I wanted to try
I wanted to try
I know you could see that I wanted to try
I've got visions of you in my head
I've got visions of you in my head
I've got visions of you in my head
I've got visions of you in my head
You move, you run
You move, you run
You move, you run
You move
You move
You move
You move
You move
You move, you run
[Instrumental]
Look to the believers
They sleep beneath the stars
Oh how can I join them
When I have come this far
Once upon a time
If we stared up at the sun for long enough
We just became one with all
But as we grew we just became me and you
And all the pieces that we are
Give me something special
Give to me a shrine
So that in the morning I'll rise
And get to me what's mine
Once upon a time
If we stared up at the sun for long enough
We just became one with all
But as we grew we just became me and you
And all the pieces that we are
So I'm here with pieces of
A dream that can never be sewn to make a wholeI want to and I need to get out of here
I want to get out of here
I want to get out of here
Look to the believers
They sleep beneath the stars
Oh how can I join them
When I have come this far
Once upon a time
If we stared up at the sun for long enough
We just became one with all
But as we grew we just became me and you
And all the pieces that we are
So the feeling still remains
I'm fired some say madness
I say i'm inspired
i want to and I need to get out of here
So the feeling still remains
I'm fired some say madness
I say i'm inspired
i want to and I need to get out of here
Strange thingsare happening but don't be amazed
Be conscious of those devious ways
The type of shit we see everyday
In the year two more problems to face

The type of shit we see everyday
In the year two more problems to face
I see it from my window
And taste t in my food
it happends all around
I slowly watch it happen
The way we feel it should be
Has a right to emerge
Sitting by the water
Is just another place
The comfort to be found
It will not go away
The way we feel it should be
Has a right to emergeLiving life in cycles
Reaping what you sow
For love we have to give
If love we want to glow

You don't know where you're going to turn
You squirm when the sweetness comes, you turn it into ammunition
With the use of a cynical smile, a typical defence
i can see you getting cold, so cold
In the sweetness it could clothe you
In the sweetness it turns yellow for your soul
In the sweetness it could hold you
But you stay blue with cool
She's there inside you, that woman
And she wants to let the heavens in
Softly now softly now
Inside you, that woman
Come on, let her bring the heavens in
Softly softly now
But you stand strong and here it comes
That something that you can say
To keep the tenderness at bay
Can't suck feeling from all that
It just stands up hard and strong
like an aimless gun, like a loveless cum
You put armour on hte music in your soul
You put a maze into your garden
You put a spike inside your smile
And only your dreams can know that love is your aim
She's there inside you, that woman
And she wants to let the heavens in
Softly now softly now
Inside you, that woman
Softly now, softly softly softly softly now
I know she will be calling you
One day teh snake's going to charm you
All the way to paradise
Make sure she doesn't bite you first
You'll know when she's done this
You will feel a great divide
You will think that she is danger
You won't even know theway to say hello
You will think she means invader
When all the time she could have charmed you out of all this
She's there inside you, that woman
And she wants to let the heavens in
Softly now softly now
Inside you, that woman
Come on, let her bring the heavens in
Softly now
Softly now
Softly now
'Cause don't you know the boys will appreciate her too
'Cause she's been sleeping, sleeping
It's been a long long sleep
Kiss her she's your princess
She's your princess

You said always if you didn't mean it
Then you really shouldn't say
Then you really shouldn't say
My love for you feels like
Feels like the rain
Falls down to the ground soft
Feels like you again
And through I still pretend
That I'm not in love with you
It's plain to see
We try just to be friends
But it's impossibility yes
It's plain to see
And through I still pretend
That you will fall in love with
That you will fall in love with
That you will fall in love with
It's plain to see, it's plain to see

Sky reflected ocean, submerged in blue
Reflecting me and you and everybody
Sea of sparkling sunlight we wash away
Begin another new day, we wash away
Begin another new day, we wash away
Sky reflected ocean, submerged in blue
Reflecting me and you and everybody
Sea of sparkling sunlight we wash away
Begin another new day, we wash away
Begin another new day, we wash away
Bits of other people keep running into me
They say you know just who you are
I am getting pulled into shadows that surround
I see you sitting on your cold star
Help me I'm merging into all
I used to dream I was this tall
My new eye is opening up to black and gold
Everything is turning out the same
Everything is turning out the same
When I'm coming down there are buzzes in my ears
I can feel them floating around
All the walls are shaking
'Cause they were never real
Sweet to see things falling apart

Pathways to the sun
Rise like brothers, shine like sisters
To these hands we hold, to these hands we hold
Through colors of the minds
Rise like brothers, shine like sisters
To these arms of mine, to these arms of mine
Don't don't don't hold back
Don't hold back, don't don't don't
Don't hold back, don't hold back
Pathways to the sun
Rise like brothers, shine like sisters
To these hands we hold, to these hands we hold
Rise like brothers, shine like sisters
Through colours of the minds
Rise like brothers, shine like sisters
To these arms of mine, to these arms of mine
Don't don't don't hold back
Don't hold back, don't don't don't
Don't hold back, don't hold back don't
Rise like brothers, shine like sisters
To these hands we hold
Rise like brothers, shine like sisters
To these hands we hold
Rise like brothers, shine like sisters
To these hands we hold
Rise like brothers, shine like sisters
To these hands we hold
Rise like brothers, shine like sisters
Rise like brothers, shine like sisters
Oh yeah ee... Alright ah ah ah ... oh GOD Knows
No justice ... tice ...tice .. Oh yeah X2
The reason why our lives they are so rough
Because the system is unjust
And the reason why the system is unjust
Because it's not made for us (repeat)
Many they flight for equal rights, no end in sight
Some hold the power so tight, and live alife that's
nice
Who pays the price ?
You've got to fight, with all your might for what is
right
It is your life, you have a choice you've got a voice
No justice no peace if equal rights and justice is what
you seek
No justice no peace the power to the people they must
be released
(repeat)
No justice ... tice ...tice
No justice ... tice ...tice
No justice no peace if equal rights and justice is what
you seek
No justice no peace the power to the people they must
be released
(repeat)
(repeat first verse X2 )
The reason why our lives they are so rough
Because the system is unjust
And the reason why the system is unjust
'Cause it's a fraud and a bogus
Fraud and a bogus, fraud and a bogus
Yes we live and we learn
Yes we live and we learn
That's why I say
In this lesson called life
Give what you can before you say goodbye
In this lesson called life
You see what you must before you have to fly
In this lesson called life
To conquer fear we've all got to try
In this lesson called life
Learn how to live and not how to die
Everyone we meet it is for a reason
And the lessons we've learned we exchange
We all have our own destinies but the decisions
We make in life can cause them to change
Yes everyone who lives lives for a purpose
Some live their whole live's never knowing what this is
Listen to the voice of the creator within you
Try to always do this as you live
In this lesson called life
Give what you can before you say goodbye
In this lesson called life
You see what you must before you have to fly
In this lesson called life
To conquer fear we've all got to try
In this lesson called life
Learn how to live and not how to die
Experience is learning
So we're bound to make mistakes, yes
We've all got to lean our lessons
And we can't wait until it's too late
Righteousness exalts a nation
And sin it is a reproach
Let's make the creator be our teacher
Let Him be our trainer and our coach
In this lesson called life
Give what you can before you say goodbye
In this lesson called life
You see what you must before you have to fly
In this lesson called life
To conquer fear we've all got to try
In this lesson called life
Learn how to live and not how to die
Yes we live and we learn
Oh yes we live and we learn
Yes we live and we learn
Oh yes we live and we learn
You've got to learn what youmust
And share what you can in this lesson
You're got to learn what you must
And share what you can in the school of life
Life is so eventful
Life is so eventful
How could we complain
There is nothing to explain
I feel the same
And if your looking to further your mind
Don't try to reassemble the past too quickly
And don't forget the time that it takes to make a change
And if your looking to further your mind
Life is so eventful, life is so eventful
How could we complain
There is nothing left to say, just face the day
Andif your looking to further your mind
Don't think it's not a problem for some to get by
And try to find the time the time that it takes
communicate
And if your looking to further your mind
Life is so eventful, life is so eventful
( feat. Louise Decordova & Rudy Lee )
We're living in a serious time
Life has its way of showing you a new day, new day, yeah
Life has its way of showing you a new day, new day, yeah
New day, new day, yeah, new day, new day
We're living in a serious time
We're living in a serious time
Life has its way of showing you a new day, new day, yeah
Life has its way of showing you a new day, new day, yeah
Life has its way of showing you a new day, new day
We're living in a serious time

What's on your mind
What's on your mind
Won't you tell me what's on your mind
What's on your mind
Won't you tell me what's on your mind
I saw you looking at me
That friday night at the club
And i saw you looking mighty fine
Looking at you wasn't enough
I saw you looking at me
That friday night at the club
And i saw you looking mighty fine
Won't you tell me what's on your mind
What's on your mind
What's on your mind
What's on your mind
Tell me do you feel the same
Tell me do you feel the same
Won't you tell me what's on your mind
Won't you tell me what's on your mind
Won't you tell me what's on your mind
Won't you tell me what's on your mind
Won't you tell me what's on your mind
Won't you tell me what's on your mind
( feat. Tammy Payne )
I'm on a motorway, a subway
I'm on ever last fuel
I've got love and light in my pocket
And I am not afraid to use
I'll just sprinkle
A handful
When you need
There's a red speed demon
Taking over your mind
Your highway goes to forever now
There's no rewind
I'll just sprinkle
A handful
When you need
In a flash of joy
I'm taking over
In a flash of joy
I'm all you need
In a flash of joy
I'm taking over
In a flash of joy
It's all worth while
Look to the believers
They sleep beneath the stars
Oh how can I join them
When I have come this far
Once upon a time
If we stared up at the sun for long enough
We just became one with all
But as we grew we just became me and you
And all the pieces that we are
Give me something special
Give to me a shrine
So that in the morning I'll rise
And get to me what's mine
Once upon a time
If we stared up at the sun for long enough
We just became one with all
But as we grew we just became me and you
And all the pieces that we are
So I'm here with pieces of
A dream that can never be sewn to make a whole
I want to and I need to get out of here
I want to get out of here
I want to get out of here
Look to the believers
They sleep beneath the stars
Oh how can I join them
When I have come this far
Once upon a time
If we stared up at the sun for long enough
We just became one with all
But as we grew we just became me and you
And all the pieces that we are
So the feeling still remains
I'm fired some say madness
I say i'm inspired
i want to and I need to get out of here
So the feeling still remains
I'm fired some say madness
I say i'm inspired
( feat. Niji 40 )
