This is the unofficial channel for Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza, which is a brand new comedy improv show that is coming April 11th, 2011 to The Game Show Network! The show will feature many performers of the hit show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, plus some new faces and some surprise guests! A new episode will air every weeknight at 8 PM EST, with repeats at 11 PM, and 2 AM EST.
The show itself was filmed at the Hollywood Theatre at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada during January and February of 2011. The show's format will be similar to the live show 'Drew Carey And The Improv AllStars' and 'Drew Carey's Green Screen Show'.
This particular video is a promotional video showing footage from the original pilot that was shot in February of 2010.

Robots stars Ewan McGregor as the voice of Rodney Copperbottom, an idealistic robot who wants to convince his electronic brethren to come together and work toward making the world a better place. Drew Carey
Drew Allison Carey (born May 23, 1958) is an American animator, actor, comedian, sports executive, and game show host. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and making a name for himself in stand-up comedy, Carey eventually gained popularity starring in his own sitcom, The Drew Carey Show, and serving as host of the U.S. version of the improv comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, both of which aired on ABC.
Carey has appeared in several films, television series, music videos, a made-for-television film, and a computer game. He has hosted the television game show The Price Is Right since 2007. He is interested in a variety of sports, has worked as a photographer at U.S. National Team soccer games, is a minority owner of the Major League Soccer team Seattle Sounders FC and a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. Carey has written an autobiography, Dirty Jokes and Beer: Stories of the Unrefined, detailing his early life and television career.
Early life
Carey was the youngest of Lewis and Beulah Carey's three sons and raised in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. When Drew was eight years old, his father died from a brain tumor. He played the cornet and trumpet in the marching band of James Ford Rhodes High School, from which he graduated in 1975.

The Drew Carey Show
The Drew Carey Show is an American sitcom that aired on ABC from 1995 to 2004. The show was set in Cleveland, Ohio, and revolved around the retail office and home life of "everyman" Drew Carey, a fictionalized version of the actor.
The show was created by Carey, who had both stand-up comedy and writing experience, and Bruce Helford, who was once a writer for Roseanne. It was the first television show to have an episode simulcast on the Internet.
The show was produced by Mohawk Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. The show debuted on the ABC network on September 13, 1995, and ranked among the Top 30 programs for four seasons before sliding in popularity. Ratings declined sharply during the final two seasons, and the last two episodes aired on September 8, 2004.
Premise
Drew Carey is a fictionalized version of himself, a self-proclaimed "everyman". Drew Carey (the actor) has been quoted as saying his character would be what the actor would be if he never became an actor. He has a "gang" of friends who embark with him on his everyday trials and tribulations. Drew's friends include erudite but unambitious Lewis (Ryan Stiles), excitable dimwitted Oswald (Diedrich Bader) and his friend (later on-off girlfriend) Kate (Christa Miller). In the final two seasons, Kate gets married and moves to Guam, in the same two-part episode that introduces and develops Drew's relationship with Kellie (Cynthia Watros), which carries on over the final two seasons.

One-shot (comics)
A one-shot is a story created as a single issue found in comic books. They sometimes serves as a pilot to field interest in a new series.
United States
In the United States, one-shots are usually labeled with a "#1" despite there being no following issues, and are sometimes subtitled as "specials". On occasion, a character or concept will appear in a series of one-shots, in cases where the subject matter is not financially lucrative enough to merit an ongoing or limited series, but still popular enough to be published on a regular basis, often annually or quarterly. A current example of a series of one-shots would be Marvel Comics' Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius publications. This type of one-shot is not to be confused with a comic book annual, which is typically a companion publication to an established ongoing series.
Other countries
The term has also been borrowed into the Franco-Belgian comics industry, with basically the same meaning, although there, it mostly refers to albums.

One shot (music video)
A "one-shot" is any music video which consists of action, continuous in time and space, from the perspective of a single camera — a single long take. In order to be able to make one-shot videos several special techniques are used. Most commonly the stage props which are not currently caught on cameras are changed during the shot. For other videos some parts are filmed before the final shot and then replayed on screens in the video.
One of the most famous music video directors for this genre is Michel Gondry, who has done many of his videos in this style.
This differs from the meaning of two shot, etc.

The show will feature many performers of the hit show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, plus some new faces and some surprise guests! A new episode will air every weeknight at 8 PM EST, with repeats at 11 PM, and 2 AM EST.
The show itself was filmed at the Hollywood Theatre at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada during January and February of 2011. The show's format will be similar to the live show 'Drew Carey And The Improv AllStars' and 'Drew Carey's Green Screen Show'.
This particular video is a promotional video showing footage from the original pilot that was shot in February of 2010.

Drew Carey
Drew Allison Carey (born May 23, 1958) is an American animator, actor, comedian, sports executive, and game show host. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and making a name for himself in stand-up comedy, Carey eventually gained popularity starring in his own sitcom, The Drew Carey Show, and serving as host of the U.S. version of the improv comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, both of which aired on ABC.
Carey has appeared in several films, television series, music videos, a made-for-television film, and a computer game. He has hosted the television game show The Price Is Right since 2007. He is interested in a variety of sports, has worked as a photographer at U.S. National Team soccer games, is a minority owner of the Major League Soccer team Seattle Sounders FC and a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. Carey has written an autobiography, Dirty Jokes and Beer: Stories of the Unrefined, detailing his early life and television career.
Early life
Carey was the youngest of Lewis and Beulah Carey's three sons and raised in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. When Drew was eight years old, his father died from a brain tumor. He played the cornet and trumpet in the marching band of James Ford Rhodes High School, from which he graduated in 1975.
