Let’s head off to see what Suphan Buri has for a RIPper wanting a little more peace and quiet than what a city like Chiang Mai offers but wants to be closer to Central Thailand. Chiang Mai with its growth and being a major tourist destination is quickly losing some of its charm.
So what are some more options? What does it cost and what is it like to live in Suphan Buri? Can living only a little more than two hours from Bangkok really give us the quality of life we want? Can a category 1 RIPper (Retiree

Thailand, the Most Deadly Tourist Destination?
Check out our exclusive member site: http://goo.gl/M0nMT5 Seems like some people just seem to see the world as a glass half empty. We all have choices in how we choose to perceive every event in or lives. Well an author John Stapleton has written a book accusing Thailand as being a deadly place to visit full of Thais with hatred towards Farang (foreigners). Here are some of my comments and thoughts regarding the

While there’s not a lot to do in Chumphon while you wait for your ferry, there are things to do and see around Chumphon and in town. The surrounding beaches are great places to get off the beaten path. Hat Thung Wua Laen (15km north of town) is an excellent beach with plenty of traveler amenities.

Getting away from Chiang Mai’s hectic, polluted and slightly dangerous driving conditions is great. Traffic slows to a trickle as the scenery changes from businesses into the lush foothills and eventually deep into the mountainous North Country. This is a gorgeous jou

Well I know it has been a while but we are back on the road again! Along the way I will give you some tips for making sure you are a happy RIPper (Retiree In Paradise), show you some cool and fun things to do, places to consider living and a few surprises as well.

Suphanburi, sometimes written Suphan Buri, is a town in central Thailand. Suphanburi lies on the Tha Chin River (known locally as the Suphan River), at an elevation of 11 metres (36 ft). The surro
