This was my first visit to the "Mach Loop" Whilst on holiday in north Wales in 2009. It was awesome, I was very lucky, on my first day there were over 30 passes, and on my second day loads of Typhoons and a F15 with afterburner. The photographers up there were a very friendly people, and I would like to thank all of them, for the tips and advice they gave me about the Mach Loop. Cad West was definitely my favorite site on the loop.

http://bookinghunter.com Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia. Sydney's urban area is in a coastal basin, which is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the east, the Blue Mountains to the west, the Hawkesbury River to the north and the Royal National Park to the south. The most important places to visit in Sydney are: Sydney Opera House (among the world's most recognized landmarks. Set on the Sydney harbor, it is an unforgettable sight), Sydney Harbor Bridge (simply called "the bridge" by locals, courageous ones can even climb up the bridge), Bronte Beach (lesser known than Bondi, it is a beautiful beach, popular amongst families), Blue Mountains (an unspoiled mountain range filled with Eucalyptus trees. It is located 30 miles from Sydney, and there are plenty of hiking trails), Bondi Beach (Sydney's most famous beach, its lively promenade is as exciting as the beach) and many more. This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation. If you want to save time and money, the most important Sydney travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on http://bookinghunter.com, a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available.

Cardiff Castle (Welsh: Castell Caerdydd) is a medieval castle and Victorian Gothic revival mansion located in the city centre of Cardiff, Wales. The original motte and bailey castle was built in the late 11th century by Norman invaders on top of a 3rd-century Roman fort. The castle was commissioned by either William the Conqueror or by Robert Fitzhamon, and formed the heart of the medieval town of Cardiff and the Marcher Lord territory of Glamorgan. In the 12th century the castle began to be rebuilt in stone, probably by Robert of Gloucester, with a shell keep and substantial defensive walls being erected. Further work was conducted by Richard de Clare in the second half of the 13th century. Cardiff Castle was repeatedly involved in the conflicts between the Anglo-Normans and the Welsh, being attacked several times in the 12th century, and stormed in 1404 during the revolt of Owain Glyndŵr. UKIP leader Nigel Farage ended up speaking to a near-empty hall of American conservative activists - even though he had been billed as a "serious candidate who can run England in the near future". But he received a hero's welcome back home at the party's spring conference in Margate, where he dismissed suggestions that support for UKIP had peaked and promised that the party would "exceed all expectations" in May.

Google latest Doodle celebrates Saint David, the patron saint of Wales, and his feast day which falls on the 1 March every year. Little is confirmed about the life of the saint, known as Dewi Sant in Welsh, but what we do know is that an aristocratic man from West Wales lived around the 6 century and died. Many mark the day by wearing one of the two national emblems of Wales (either a daffodil or leek) or by displaying the flag of St David, which is a yellow cross on a black background. A small number of heritage sites, including Beaumaris Castle, Caernarfon Castle, Raglan Castle or Tintern Abbey, open for free on the day. St David, whose father was Sanctus, king of Ceredigion, is thought to have been born in 520. Some believe that his mother, a sainted nun called Nonnita, gave birth to him on the cliffs under a thunderstorm. During the medieval period it was also believed that St David was the nephew of King Arthur. Around 550, St David is thought to have founded a large monastery close by, the first of 11 He instructed the monks under him to lead a simple life, abstaining from beer or meat. His vegetarianism and only drinking water, led to his nickname Dewi Ddyrwr (the water drinker). The monk was made an archbishop and was among the early saints who spread Christianity in western Britain. He is thought to have died in 569. In 1120 he was canonised by Pope Callactus II, following which he was declared the patron saint of Wales. There are various miracles attached to the saint. He is reputed to have returned a boy from the dead by splashing his face with tears and for restoring a blind man’s sight. Wales – The Poetry Of - An Introduction. This proud nation with it’s long history; sometimes rough, hewn from bleak landscapes, sometimes gently soft from its comforting voices has produced a long succession of artists and poets. In the latter category Louis MacNeice most probably stands pre-eminent, his words and phrasing are on a plane few can equal and most are in awe of. But in this volume we do put forward others who have their own words and voice to add to this rich tapestry. Wilfred Owen, Henry Vaughan, George Herbert and Edward Thomas amongst them. The complete volume can be purchased at iTunes, Amazon or other download stores or here http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wales-Poetry-Various-artists/dp/B003RD992C/ref=sr_1_2?s=dmusic&ie;=UTF8&qid;=1425218345&sr;=1-2&keywords;=poetry+of+wales

Welsh Secretary Stephen Crabb has said it is "bizarre" for the Welsh government to reject calls for a referendum on income tax powers, claiming the UK government has moved mountains to promise a funding floor. First Minister Carwyn Jones dismissed Friday's offer from David Cameron and Nick Clegg as a "vague promise" which should not be dependent on him holding a public vote on income tax devolution. Mr Crabb insisted that Welsh ministers had been given the assurance on funding they were looking for.
The Liberal Democrats are delivering fair funding for Wales which the last Labour government failed to do so in more than 10 years in power, Chief Secretary to the Treasury Danny Alexander has said. It comes as arguments continue over the UK government's pledge to set a minimum funding floor for the Welsh government. First Minister Carwyn Jones rejected it as a "vague promise" which should not depend on a referendum on tax powers. But Mr Alexander told the Welsh Liberal Democrats' conference in Cardiff on Sunday that his party was delivering on devolution where Labour had failed.

noodls 2015-03-20Wales i/ˈweɪlz/ (Welsh: Cymru;Welsh pronunciation: [ˈkəm.rɨ] ( listen)) is a country that is part of the United Kingdom and the island of Great Britain, bordered by England to its east and the Atlantic Ocean and Irish Sea to its west. It has a population of three million, and a total area of 20,779 km2 (8,023 sq mi). Wales has over 1,200 km (750 mi) of coastline, including its offshore islands; the largest, Anglesey (Ynys Môn), is also the largest island in the Irish Sea. Wales is largely mountainous, with its highest peaks in the north and central areas, especially in Snowdonia (Eryri), which contains Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), its highest summit.
During the Iron Age and early medieval period, Wales was inhabited by the Celtic Britons. A distinct Welsh national identity emerged in the centuries after the Roman withdrawal from Britain in the 5th century, and Wales is regarded as one of the modern Celtic nations today. Gruffydd ap Llywelyn was recognised as King of Wales in 1057. Llywelyn ap Gruffydd's death in 1282 marked the completion of Edward I of England's conquest of Wales. The castles and town walls erected to ensure its permanence are now UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Owain Glyndŵr briefly restored independence to what was to become modern Wales, in the early 15th century. Wales was subsequently annexed by England under the Laws in Wales Acts 1535–1542 since when, excluding those matters now devolved to Wales, English law has been the legal system of Wales and England. Distinctive Welsh politics developed in the 19th century. Welsh Liberalism, exemplified in the early 20th century by Lloyd George, was displaced by the growth of socialism and the Labour Party. Welsh national feeling grew over the century; Plaid Cymru was formed in 1925 and The Welsh Language Society in 1962. The National Assembly for Wales, created in 1999 following a referendum, holds responsibility for a range of devolved policy matters.
Ali G (born Alistair Leslie Graham) is a satirical fictional character created and performed by English comedian Sacha Baron Cohen. Originally appearing on Channel 4's Eleven O'Clock show, as the title character of Channel 4's Da Ali G Show in 2000 and on HBO in 2003–2004, he is also the title character of the film Ali G Indahouse. Cohen's character Ali G, along with Borat and Brüno, has been retired.
The character of Ali G is a stereotype of a white suburban male from Staines (now Staines-upon-Thames) who imitates rap culture as well as urban British and Jamaican culture, particularly through hip hop, reggae, drum and bass and jungle music. Ali G was part of a group called Berkshire Massif, and he ran and grew up in an area of Slough called Langley (both actual locations in the UK). He also lived part of his life in Staines. Baron Cohen has stated that BBC Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood was an influence on the development of the Ali G character – Westwood hosts Radio 1's Rap Show and speaks in a faux Multicultural London English and Hip-Hop dialect. Ali G's middle class credentials mirror Westwood's: the latter was brought up in Lowestoft, Suffolk as a bishop's son.
Oh my friend don't get caught in yesterday
All the things we've heard have left and made their way
Lower your guns even if love has turned to spite
We may find the enemy waiting inside
Light the candle to see what may unfold
If you listen to the sound within your mind
You may find the answer flowing in the tide
Say goodbye to your sorrow
And hello to tomorrow
Well i hear the fiddlers call
Say that love is here for all
So i wrote her a letter
And i tried to forget her
Well i don't know if i'll go
Can you hear the river flow
Say goodbye to your sorrow
And hello to tomorrow
Well i hear the fiddlers call
Say that love is here for all
Lower your guns even if love has turned to spite
We may find the enemy waiting inside
Light the candle to see what may unfold
Oh my friend i hope you're done with yesterday
All the things we're heard have left and made their way
Say goodbye to your sorrow
And hello to tomorrow
Well i hear the fiddlers call
Say that love is here for all
So i wrote her a letter
And i tried to forget her
Well i don't know if i'll go

Say goodbye to your sorrow
And hello to tomorrow
