St. BRIGID of Ireland - MIRACLES of a LIVING SAINT ( 453 AD)
St. Brigid was a disciple of St. Patrick of Ireland. She was tonsured as a nun at an eaarly age and at 28 years of age established a Convent and a Monastery in Kildare, Ireland.
St. Brigid was a strong "LIVING SAINT" who performed many MIRACLES through her Faith in CHRIST andGglorified GOD as one of HIS Saints.
She is venerated in the Orthodox and Catholic Churches on her Feast day of February 1st.

In Celtic religion and Irish mythology, Brigit or Brighid ("exalted one") is the daughter of the Dagda and one of the Tuatha Dé Danann. She was the wife of Bres of the Fomorians, with whom she had a son, Ruadán.
She had two sisters, also named Brighid, and is considered "a classic Celtic Triple Goddess".[dubious – discuss]
She is identified in Lebor Gabála Érenn as a daughter of the Dagda and a poet. The same passage mentions that she has two oxen, Fe and Men, that graze on a plain named after them, Femen. She also possessed the "king of boars", Torc Triath, and Cirb, king of wethers (sheep), from whom Mag Cirb is named. As the daughter of Dagda, she is also the half sister of Cermait, Aengus, Midir and Bodb Derg.
In Cath Maige Tuireadh, Bríg (sic) invents keening while mourning for her son Ruadán, after he is slain while fighting for the Fomorians. She is credited in the same passage with inventing a whistle used for night travel.
In her English translation of Irish myth, Lady Augusta Gregory (Gods and Fighting Men, 1904), describes Brigit as "a woman of poetry, and poets worshipped her, for her sway was very great and very noble. And she was a woman of healing along with that, and a woman of smith's work, and it was she first made the whistle for calling one to another through the night. And the one side of her face was ugly, but the other side was very comely. And the meaning of her name was Breo-saighit, a fiery arrow."

Brigid Berlin (born September 6, 1939) is an American artist and former Warhol superstar.
Berlin was the eldest of three daughters born to socialite parents, Muriel Johnson "Honey" Berlin and Richard E. Berlin, into a world of Manhattan privilege. Her father was chairman of the Hearst media empire for 32 years. As a child, Berlin regularly mixed with celebrities and the powerful:
Her socialite mother frequently worried about Brigid's weight and constantly attempted to get her to lose it through any means, from giving her cash for every pound she lost at age 11 to having the family doctor prescribe amphetamines and dexedrine. Berlin recalled, "My mother wanted me to be a slim, respectable socialite. Instead, I became an overweight troublemaker."
She was briefly married to John Parker, a window dresser. They married in 1960 and later divorced. As Andy Warhol observed in his book Popism, "When Brigid brought her window dresser fiancé home to meet the family, her mother told the doorman to tell him to wait on a bench across the street in Central Park. Then she handed Brigid her wedding present – a hundred dollar bill – and told her to go to Bergdorf's and buy herself some new underwear with it. Then she added, 'Good luck with that fairy'."

Andy Warhol (August 6, 1928 – February 22, 1987) was an American artist who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture and advertisement that flourished by the 1960s. After a successful career as a commercial illustrator, Warhol became a renowned and sometimes controversial artist. The Andy Warhol Museum in his native city, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, holds an extensive permanent collection of art and archives. It is the largest museum in the United States of America dedicated to a single artist.
Andy Warhol's artwork ranged in many forms of media that include hand drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, silk screening, sculpture, film, and music. He was a pioneer in computer-generated art using Amiga computers that were introduced in 1985, just before his death in 1987. He founded Interview Magazine and was the author of numerous books, including The Philosophy of Andy Warhol and Popism: The Warhol Sixties. Andy Warhol is also notable as a gay man who lived openly as such before the gay liberation movement. His studio, The Factory, was a famous gathering place that brought together distinguished intellectuals, drag queens, playwrights, Bohemian street people, Hollywood celebrities, and wealthy patrons. Warhol has been the subject of numerous retrospective exhibitions, books, and feature and documentary films. He coined the widely used expression "15 minutes of fame". Many of his creations are very collectible and highly valuable. The highest price ever paid for a Warhol painting is US$100 million for a 1963 canvas titled Eight Elvises. The private transaction was reported in a 2009 article in The Economist, which described Warhol as the "bellwether of the art market". Warhol's works include some of the most expensive paintings ever sold.

Young people have always been the driving force in social change. If we look back at history, youth have been essential to the success of every progressive social movement; LGBTI rights, feminism, anti-war, the Arab Spring, civil rights, the French revolution, the list goes on. In every one of these social movements, the focus of the young has not been purely on the 'what' of revolution: on the end result. The power of these movements has been on a collective understanding of the 'why' and the 'how'; of why change is essential and how change can be achieved.
Brigid Evans was born and raised in Bendigo, graduating from Girton Grammar School in 2008. In 2009 she formed the Bendigo Youth Allowance Action Group, leading the protests against the proposed changes to Youth Allowance that would have unfairly disadvantaged regional students’ access to higher education.
Between 2010 and 2012 Brigid studied a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne and was the Training Coordinator for the Victorian Youth Parliament.
In 2013 she completed an Honours in Philosophy and was awarded the Laurie Prize for Academic Excellence. For the past two years, she has have been an associate for “Teach for Australia”, teaching History and English at Alamanda College in Melbourne’s West. “Teach for Australia” places high achieving graduates in Australia's most disadvantaged schools, with the aim of combating educational disadvantage.
