Tours (pronounced: [tuʁ]) is a city in central France, the capital of the Indre-et-Loire department.
It stands on the lower reaches of the river Loire, between Orléans and the Atlantic coast. Touraine, the region around Tours, is known for its wines, the alleged perfection (as perceived by some speakers) of its local spoken French, and the Battle of Tours in 732. It is also the site of the Paris–Tours road bicycle race. Tours is the largest city in the Centre region of France, although it is not the regional capital, which is the region's second-largest city, Orléans. In 2006, the city itself had 142,000 inhabitants and the metropolitan area had 306,974.
In Gallic times the city was important as a crossing point of the Loire. Becoming part of the Roman Empire during the first century AD, the city was named "Caesarodunum" ("hill of Caesar"). The name evolved in the 4th century when the original Gallic name, Turones, became first "Civitas Turonum" then "Tours". It was at this time that the amphitheatre of Tours, one of the five largest in the Empire, was built. Tours became the metropolis of the Roman province of Lugdunum towards 380–388, dominating the Loire Valley, Maine and Brittany. One of the outstanding figures of the history of the city was Saint Martin, second bishop who shared his coat with a naked beggar in Amiens. This incident and the importance of Martin in the medieval Christian West made Tours, and its position on the route of pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, made Tours a major centre during the Middle Ages.
Chris Forsberg (born April 6, 1982), is an American self-taught drifting driver from Doylestown, Pennsylvania who currently competes in the Formula Drift series in his Nissan 370Z for NOS Energy Drink and Hankook Tires.
Chris noticed his love for speed and competition at the age of six, racing bicycles with his brother. He first got into cars at the age of 10 attending drag racing events with his uncles at Maple Grove Raceway Park in Pennsylvania. He was then introduced to flat track motorcycle racing watching his cousin slide around the track. This is what planted the seed for sliding things around.
At 14 he used to take out the family tractor and get it into third and slam on the brakes which made it slide around the yard. When he became old enough to drive he borrowed a friend's MKIII Supra and drift it around a cone course he set up in a parking lot. This passion lead him to watching Initial D and Option Videos, which influenced him to sell his truck and purchase his first car, a 1988 Mazda RX-7.

Becca grew up in Marietta, Georgia as the youngest of two girls. Becca attended Pebblebrook High School, Mableton, Georgia.[3] She was a cheerleader in 7th and 8th grade and did dance after that. Her father is Jewish.[4]
She transferred schools halfway through her senior year. She had transferred from a theater arts school to a public one, and began to get bullied by girls who called her "theater freak" and "nerd." [5] They told her she would never become successful or a star,[6] and one girl threatened to beat her up.[3] She also received harsh text messages and her only friend began to ignore her. Because of the bullying, she began skipping school events, like pep rallies,[7] and didn't walk at her graduation. She graduated from Wheeler High School in 2004.[1] She is an alumna of AMDA, a performing arts college.[8]
Tobin's first performance was at age four as a Christmas tree in her school's holiday pageant.[9] She moved to New York when she was eighteen to get working right away.[1] She's done small theater projects, though most of them were as an understudy, and toured with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in 2011. Glee is her first big project.[10]
She supports anti-bullying and is the spokesperson for Bullyville.[6]
