Brandon Meriweather (born January 14, 1984 in Apopka, Florida) is an American football safety for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League. He was drafted by the New England Patriots 24th overall in the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Miami.

Meriweather has also played for the Chicago Bears.

Meriweather's mother gave birth to him when she was 13 years old. Meriweather started living with his adopted parents at age 11. Meriweather attended Apopka High School in Apopka, Florida where he helped lead his school to the Florida Class 6A state championship as a senior in 2001. He started as a kick returner, returning four kicks for touchdowns as a senior. He also lettered in track and basketball.

Meriweather went on to play college football at the University of Miami. In 2002, Meriweather played in three games and had three total tackles before injuring his ankle. Per guidelines, he was given a medical redshirt by the NCAA. In 2003, Meriweather played the majority of the season on special teams and in different nickel and dime packages. He got his first start against West Virginia as a nickel back. He finished the year with 22 tackles, one interception and five pass break-ups.

Mike Pereira is a former Vice President of Officiating (formerly Senior Director of Officiating) for the National Football League (NFL). He first took over the position in 2001, succeeding Jerry Seeman. He was also a game official in the NFL for two seasons (1996 and 1997) as a side judge on the officiating crew headed by referee Mike Carey. He wore uniform number 77, which is now worn by side judge-turned-two-time Super Bowl referee Terry McAulay.

Pereira appeared on the NFL Network show, NFL Total Access, during the "Official Review" segment, to discuss key calls made during the previous week's games with host Rich Eisen every Wednesday during the season.

In a Conference Championship edition of "Official Review" on January 21, 2009, Pereira confirmed that he would be retiring from the position of Vice President of Officiating after the 2009 season.

In June 2010, it was announced that Pereira would be joining Fox Sports to serve as a rules analyst for the network's college and NFL coverage. He began a column on FoxSports.com and started to provide commentary during Fox Sports football telecasts. In 2012, Sports Illustrated named Pereria named as one of the NFL's most indispensable broadcasting talents, saying that "Viewers have longed for broadcasters to provide accurate explanations from the NFL's byzantine rule book, and Pereira, thankfully, has taken the burden off ex-jocks and announcers". Michael Hiestand of USA Today wrote that "after Fox's groundbreaking move to put the ex-NFL vice president of officiating on-air, Pereira proved to be a candid voice — not a shill for the almighty NFL". However, Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times wrote that "Pereira has assumed the role of the overzealous defense attorney ... his appearances generally conclude with him concluding that the referees have gotten it right yet again ... Analyst is the title that FOX hangs on Pereira, but advocate is more appropriate".

Jordan Alan Gross (born July 20, 1980) is an American football offensive tackle for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Utah and was recognized as an All-American. He was drafted by the Panthers eighth overall in the 2003 NFL Draft, and has played for the Panthers for his entire pro career.

Gross was born in Nampa, Idaho. He attended Fruitland High School in Fruitland, Idaho, where he was a letterman in football, basketball, and track and field. In football, he was a first-team all-state selection as both an offensive and defensive lineman as a senior, and helped lead his team win the conference championship as a sophomore. In basketball, he won all-conference honors.

Gross attended the University of Utah, where he played for the Utah Utes football team in the Mountain West Conference (MWC). After redshirting his freshman year, he started three games for the Utes, and played in the Las Vegas Bowl, where the co-MWC champion Utes beat Fresno State 17-16. The following season, he made All-MWC honorable mention after starting all 11 games, switching between offensive tackle and offensive guard. His versatility increased as a junior, as he played left tackle, left guard, and right tackle, and finished the season once again making the All-MWC honorable mention team. His offensive line allowed only five sacks all season, which tied the University of Miami Hurricanes record for fewest allowed in the nation. His streak of honorable mention ended his senior year, as he was promoted to All-MWC first team, as well as making the All-America team. He was also a finalist for the Outland Trophy, which is given to the best interior lineman in college football, after not allowing a sack all season at left tackle. Also of note is that during his first two years at Utah, one of his teammates was Steve Smith, who he would later play with in Carolina.

Brandon Marshall (born March 23, 1984) is an American football wide receiver for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. He was selected by the Denver Broncos out of the University of Central Florida, with the 119th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft.

Marshall is known for his ability to break and dodge tackles. He led all NFL wide receivers in yards after first contact for the 2007 NFL season. Regarding Marshall's breakaway ability, Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Brandon Flowers said, "Brandon Marshall is a defensive lineman playing wide receiver. He wants to inflict punishment on you. He wants you to try to tackle him so he can shove you off of him and get more yards."Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha said Marshall is "the toughest guy to bring down, one-on-one."

On December 13, 2009, Marshall set an NFL record for receptions in a game with 21. He is also one of only five players in NFL history to catch at least 100 passes in three consecutive seasons.

Eddie Lacy is a college football player currently playing as the No. 2 running back for the 2011 Alabama Crimson Tide football team. During the 2011 regular season, his average of 7.5 yards per carry ranked first in the Southeastern Conference and sixth in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision.

Lacy attended and graduated from Dutchtown High School in Geismar, Louisiana. Lacy ran for 1,207 yards and 19 touchdowns as a sophomore, 1,800 yards and 27 touchdowns as a junior, and 1,046 yards and 17 touchdowns during his injury-plagued senior season. In December 2008, he was selected by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association as a first-team player on the Class 5A All-State football team for the second consecutive season. Rated as the 13th best running back and the 116th best prospect overall by Rivals.com, Lacy committed to the University of Alabama in February 2009.

After redshirting in 2009, Lacy earned his spot as the third string tailback behind Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson. In the season opener against San Jose State, Lacy ran for 113 yards and two touchdowns in his collegiate debut. In the 2011 Capital One Bowl against Michigan State, Lacy averaged 17.2 yards per carry and scored two touchdowns, including a 62-yard touchdown run in the second half. For the 2010 season, Lacy had 406 yards rushing.
