Carla & David's Coworth Park wedding flowers theme -- ivory and Tiffany blue, is one of my favourite neutral colour schemes that would suit almost any venue. But especially in the context of the uber chic and minimalist Coworth Park, I have to say that I was really pleased with the stylish but more relaxed outcome. This morning it did feel a little bit like Groundhog day, but that only lasted during my short drive down approaching the main Coworth Park hotel. We arranged another beautiful set of Coworth Park wedding flowers just last weekend, but that was in the very different, much more rustic Tower House at Coworth Park.
For Carla & David's Coworth Park wedding flowers we kept the flowers mix all beautifully white & ivory. The rural setting was complemented with wild bridal flowers and clusters of just picked style posies of meadow flowers dotted low down on the reception tables. The main centrepieces however were a more polished look, with tall Martini vases and elegant silver urns, to decorate the modern backdrop of the room.
Carla and David's wedding ceremony took place at took place at the lovely All Saints church in Ascot, from where guests departed for Coworth in a fun double decker red wedding bus. David's close family friend arranged the wedding flowers for the church, in memory of David's mum, who was a keen florist for the church. We had coordinated together to make sure everything was in the same mix of flowers as we used at the venue. I caught a few shots of the lovely bride Carla, arriving at the church, just as I was heading back to Coworth Park. The bridesmaids looked fantastic in Tiffany blue dresses, some in satin and some in lace with a satin overlay. What a great way to bring different style and texture dresses together - they looked so much more interesting than if they had all been the same...
Carla's and the bridesmaids bouquets, all used a mix of scented paeonies, roses, wild looking astrantia, veronica, lisianthus, scented rosemary and pistache. We lined up vases along the long oval top table, ready to receive the 5 bridesmaids bouquets after the church ceremony. These were surrounded by wild meadow flower clusters in frosted votives, to bring the outside in -- Coworth Park is well known for its beautiful wild flowers meadow which lies just outside, as you walk up from the steps of the room's sunken terrace. For the guest table centrepieces, we arranged bloomy displays of hydrangeas, roses, astrantia, veronica, scented stocks, amongst rosemary and scented eucalyptus. The eucalyptus colour looked really beautifully coordinated with the Tifanny blue lining in the Martini vases and on the chair sashes.
We have arranged other Coworth Park wedding flowers so if you are planning your Coworth Park wedding flowers, please check out our related Coworth Park wedding flowers Purity gallery page or our Coworth Park venue pages. We are very local to Coworth and know the venue very well, so we can easily meet you at Coworth by appointment if you need advice on your own wedding flowers.
