A lake is a body of relatively still fresh or salt water of considerable size, localized in a basin, that is surrounded by land apart from a river, stream, or other form of moving water that serves to feed or drain the lake. Lakes are inland and not part of the ocean and therefore are distinct from lagoons, and are larger and deeper than ponds. Lakes can be contrasted with rivers or streams, which are usually flowing. However most lakes are fed and drained by rivers and streams.
Natural lakes are generally found in mountainous areas, rift zones, and areas with ongoing glaciation. Other lakes are found in endorheic basins or along the courses of mature rivers. In some parts of the world there are many lakes because of chaotic drainage patterns left over from the last Ice Age. All lakes are temporary over geologic time scales, as they will slowly fill in with sediments or spill out of the basin containing them.
Many lakes are artificial and are constructed for industrial or agricultural use, for hydro-electric power generation or domestic water supply, or for aesthetic or recreational purposes.

Dek: Please don't do anything sexual.
Charlie: [after an altercation between Jimmy and Dek] Sorry, ladies and gentlemen, there's been a bit of an incident. It appears that someone's been given the correct change by one of the barmaids.
Charlie: My wife and I had an argument over whether or not I should have a vasectomy so we said we'd let the kids decide. I lost 13 - 12.
Dek: [a car is nicknamed "Baby"] I've killed Baby.
Carol: Do you want to watch "Weakest Link"?
Dek: You've never been in a serious car wreck.::Donna: Neither have you.::Dek: I had a car door this close, this close to my eye. It was a near death experience.
Billy: Are you taking a piss at me?
Marlene: Baby's back.
Dek: I'm nothing like Jimmy.::Marlene: Jimmy left. You're leaving. What's the difference?::Dek: I don't want to go.
[Referring to Jimmy]::Dek: He's only your foster brother! He could have Hannibal Lector's DNA for all we know!

Gatiss: [to Caroline about Eberlin] I do believe you two would have gone on well together. You haven't got a past, and he hasn't got a future. None at all.
Eberlin: You know, one thing about this damned profession - you're constantly being reminded of it. I feel like a whore in a creaking bed.
Caroline: I'm an existentialist.::Eberlin: Uh - you're a what?::Caroline: I'm an ext - isn't that the right word?::Eberlin: I would say "exhibitionist" is more to the point.::Caroline: What's an existentialist, then?::Eberlin: Well, it's slightly more complex than romping around naked.
Sobakevich: I mean, if you want to turn this into a gun war, it's all right with us - but our reserves are closer.::Gatiss: Who do you think you are, Al Capone?::Sobakevich: Who's Al Capone?::Gatiss: He was a megalomaniac gangster who murdered anyone who got in his way.::Sobakevich: Really? Whatever happened to him?::Gatiss: He changed his name to Stalin and moved to Russia.::Sobakevich: I thought he sounded familiar.
Gatiss: I don't like you, Eberlin. I don't like you because you're weak and dishonest. But even more, I don't like you because you're frightened of me, and that disturbs me. I want to know why. You can tell me; I'm a very understanding man.::Eberlin: You haven't got an ounce of understanding or emotion in your body. You died the moment you were born. And when your heart finally stops beating, it'll be a mere formality.
Caroline: George, will you be going back to London now?::Eberlin: Probably.::Sobakevich: Are they all as pretty as you there?::Caroline: No. I'm the only one.

The Mightiest of Western Stars
The waterfall of life
Above the sands of time
I love you like a mountain
Above the countryside
The ocean breeze it blows your hair
so free
The sky is making changes
Reflections to the sea
Whoa oh oh
No no no no no no
No no no
Do I love you much too much
Do I live without you touch
Is it right to feel
The way I feel about you
Do I mean so much to you
Do you feel the same way too
So I ask myself again, over and over
Do I love you, love you, love you
Do I love you, love you, love you
The day is clouding over
Rain is falling free
I love you like a river
That flows out to the sea
The moonlight shines so silver,
Falling on you face
The stars are changing color
For love is in the air
Whoa oh oh
No no no no no no
No no no
Do I love you much too much
Can I live without your touch
Is it right to feel
The way I feel about you
Do I mean so much to you
Do you feel the same way too
So I ask myself again, over and over
Do I love you, love you, love you
Do I love you, love you, love you
Do I love you much too much
Can I live without your touch
Is it right to feel
The way I feel about you
Do I mean so much to you
Do you feel the same way too
[Intro: Street hustler]
Yo, I go in the street do my thang, pa
I make it happen, I go out there man and I hustle, pa
I make it happen, I'm going through a lot of situation right now as it is
But I'm gon' survive, because I'm strong, I been through worst situation
[Verse 1: Cormega]
New York went from excellence to desilance, right?
Ma'fuckas ain't reppin' it right
I been through hard days and treacherous nights
Clear it out right, pure raw, no stretchin' light
Blueviant white, I'm feelin' it
And I'm chillin' in Villas, in Carribeans
Reminiscin' my niggaz no longer wit us and in the pens
Niggaz want what I got, but lack discipline
And walk with me, our path's different
If we clash, I blast fifth's at them
Leave they ass period-less
Like exorcism, I'ma threat to niggaz
Been stressed ever since I bought the Lex from Nitty
Couldn't shine 'til the death for BIGGIE (uh)
I keep the heat near me
Like Shaquille, wear Evisu daily
This is nearly a preview, I hope the streets are ready
I know my breed is nearly extinct 'cause he's a 'raeli
Hard to find like a Bernard King jersey
I started slingin' early
No mama to raise me, my father ain't seen the cash
So I became a man, slingin', elevated to weigh a gram
Representin' and blazin' hammers (*gun shots*)
They made me stand up
[Verse 2: Lake]
I know the killings, but homey I gotta get it
The way BIG and them did it
But me and Mega would did it
I'm in it, to get us big, Aristotle Onassis
Bullet proof fabric, cartier on my glasses
My man we've been mashin' street wars, and shoot dawgs
Seen forms, those wagons runnin' through the blocks clappin'
Automatic, matched wit infrared, we scope
No shirts, heavy and put my Timbs up on a niggaz throat
I pull it back, 'til it click-clack, and sit back
on with ski mask in a nigga crib
And if I'm done, I wait until done from one round
(Pull it out) start bangin', I be waitin' wit a smile
Goin' out like Salaisie did, I thrive for spit
One of a few niggaz that'll pop a pig
While he walkin' on his beads, I take money and count it
Fake powder than menage it off in the shower
[Verse 3: Fat Joe]
Yea, yea, uh
Niggaz say I walk around wit a vest in my chest
Now that's a quarter mil, iced out, TS in my chest
I tried to told y'all niggaz (what?)
Will fold y'all niggaz (what?)
Come off that doe and will expose y'all niggaz (what?)
It's kinda scary how we weary the streets
Quick to bury ya, peace, you talkin' shit, now you inherit the beef
And you don't want that, black man, Crack too crazy
Insane, now we even teamin' up wit Lakey
And that's a problem, however you call it
I want a dollar off every bottle that's sold in the hallway
Or even a bag, I sleep wit the mac
Keepin' a gat for any nigga thinkin' he bad
Schemin' on Crack, it's not gon' happen
No how, you fuckin' wit thorough niggaz ain't scared to blow trial
[Outro: Street hustler]
If you have to go, you have to go
And I don't got a problem with that
That's one problem I don't got problem with
And thank God I got, you know, brothers that look out for me
They keep me thinking for the future
I really want to say that's why it counts
Eventually I am, believe me I had a dream
We ain't going platinum, we ain't going gold
We going diamond, ten million sold

Thats why I choose loot over my bitch (Thats real)
And its fucked how I be and how I feel

In the midnight
We hurry up like every day
Time after time but it's ok
Nobody knows what's going on
Another chance the same old song.
You're dancing low you turn not 'round
Looking for love it must be found
And time goes by the race is on
The nights are night (?)
In the midnight, In the midnight we all cry for love
In the midnight, In the midnight we all cry for love
In the midnight, In the midnight we all cry for love
In the midnight, In the midnight we all cry for love
We DJ plays the song you need
Another dance another feet
People start to slip ... (?)
The people need to make it all play
You feel the heat you want the rise
The neonlights they hypnotize
'cause everybody knows that's love around
Waiting for you - where are you now?
In the midnight, In the midnight we all cry for love
In the midnight, In the midnight we all cry for love
In the midnight, In the midnight we all cry for love
[Blitz] From what I see, the streets are closing in
Systems holding men
Captive, trapped in a holding pen
Controlling men
[Lake] From what I see, the hustle goes on
Niggas with stress stay strong
A nigga gotta eat right or wrong
[Blitz] From what I see, the streets are closing in
Systems holding men
Captive, trapped in a holding pen
Controlling men
[Lake] From what I see, the hustle goes on
Niggas with stress stay strong
A nigga gotta eat
[Blitz]
Finally the gates cracked
Inhaled a fresh breeze that took me way back
To days of freedom, son we gave 'em seven even
Now a free man, prepared a steep plan to see grams
Without having to deal with lose grams and unmarked vans
Tell me your focus, it seems you like it when police provoke us
Lead to us grabbing toasters, shoot to kill when they approach us
Instantly tag us, no respect when they bag us
Throw us on the wall, feeling niggas up like they faggots
Hit you where it hurt, kick in ya door
You on the floor, they up ya wifey skirt lookin for raw
What is it for? Just for doing dirt tryin to score
You broke the law, you just put in work
Son in one shot you lose it all
Nowadays I never lose sleep
Yo Lake, I thought you knew the game was too deep
Son the streets pray on niggas who sleep
Keep it up son and you'll be fourty two in the pen
With consectutive tens waiting ya turn to do this again
[Blitz] From what I see, the streets are closing in
Systems holding men
Captive, trapped in a holding pen
Controlling men
[Lake] From what I see, the hustle goes on
Niggas with stress stay strong
A nigga gotta eat right or wrong
[Blitz] From what I see, the streets are closing in
Systems holding men
Captive, trapped in a holding pen
Controlling men
[Lake] From what I see, the hustle goes on

Yo, we the killer kids

Tremendous, rap come in flurries
Outbreaks of violence enhance the bars
We all generals and claim status, we five stars
Been goin' hard since the growth in the womb

High-voletules street full of ( ? )
Back down bitches with brain, the crud logical
[Chorus]
Aiyo, why y'all wanna play with my team
Why y'all think everything just a motherfuckin' game
For the haters I advise you to zip your lip
Or you might get hit with some shit thats spit is kildren
Why y'all want to play with my team
Why y'all think everything is just a motherfuckin' game
It's Q.B. crud love; who want what
Act up for real spit slap mouth out ya grill
[Verse II]
Aiyo why you watchin' me close for
You don't know that I'll blow four
Leave you in a casket with a closed door
Jealousy; why, 'cause you ain't likin' a kid?
Soon my wrist be lit, like the lights on a bridge
You in trainin' now, what'chu fightin' your bitch
You can act real good who writin the script
It ain't no problem when gettin' low
And the only milk that I ever spilled is when I missed the 'bow
So don't re-talk it nigga like it's war when you see me
Crudded out, all tall when you see me
You doin' your bird, tryna skip the line
I hope she don't wait a whole year
'Cause she tellin' me the kid is mine
Aiyo my life ain't shit of course
And I'm depressed, with gray hair face down to my chest

[Chorus]
[Verse III]
Yo, the '86 throw back

Shit bow niggas get flushed down the toilet
For them slick talkin' niggas that order it
Parties - we spoil it
Have promoters closin' the clubs
Blowin' on dubs quick to disperse let out a slugs
Muena from the heaven above
Crud love, add on, and get your math right
Rhyme flow tight some laminate thugs
Lose eyesight triple-O sanikes
Have you weaken at the beekend
Heat seakin' scope you out
Kildren the nicest; street word of mouth
Curbing you out on the four front
of the orange lure import new ports and we scowin' 'em out
[Hook: Lake]
Crush linen, ice, women
Stems, pimps, bubble Benzes
Seringes, Cartier lens'es
I'm not in the game, I'm in the business
[Lake]
I live for the rush, I love to thug
Niggas out for they double up, scuff 'em up
I'm stocky, rock Armani
Fleeces with the beefs and broccolis
Catch me at the lobby, dice game schemin'
Come with a demon and leave with five g's even
Even, blingin in the court room
In my beige, bubble goose snorkel
I'll extort you, in the pens
For your Kool G hat, and your blue Timbs
When I bid, I'm on it
Have your man singing love songs standing on top of the toilet
[Hook x2]
[Lake]
La-ke, the K-I-D
Had the head detective Connely, following me
Black Gossi of Queens, nobody snitchin
Chillin in the cut, Crush Linen
Goodfella in it, drug sellin and shit
Caught a ??? on the fence, now they smellin my piss
But I Chardonay it, Kavosia it
Chop nice size point nine dimes and weigh 'em
Digitally, I literally
Changed the history of QB when I was eighteen
Now I lean in a cream BM
Listening to beats, sippin premium gin
Mobb style I don't smile in flicks
I pose whole and cocaine and four-fifths
Today the soldiers, stuck in trojans
On the V-I floors, my condolences
[Hook x2]
[Lake]
P-S-O-P, stress and greed
Sling packs in the grass as I run from D's
Chicks stratch my B with housing keys
I allow you to eat cuz ya feeding me
I empower the streets with Machevellism
I don't care what I tell none of these niggas
My tolerance, is like Solomon's
After seven years of locking out and locking in
Liver, fishshale, piss Cristal
And only shit hallal food and fish out
Avoid crowded places, out of town faces
Cops, and being in spots where I caught cases
My fortay, is chopping up yay
And stickin niggas for thick platinum big chains
I'm like Bugsy and Bumpy
Cuz I run these streets and get money
Hiawatha's Departure
By the shores of Gitche Gumee,
By the shining Big-Sea-Water,
At the doorway of the wigwam,
In the early Summer morning,
Hiawatha stood and waited.
All the air was full of freshness,
All the earth was bright and joyous,
And before him, through the sunshine,
Westward toward the neighboring forest
Passed in golden swarms the Ahmo,
Passed the bees, the honey-makers,
Burning, singing in the sunshine.
Bright above him shone the heavens,
Level spread the lake before him;
From its bosom leaped the sturgeon,
Sparkling, flashing in the sunshine;
On its margin the great forest
Stood reflected in the water,
Every tree-top had its shadow,
Motionless beneath the water.
From the brow of Hiawatha
Gone was every trace of sorrow,
As the fog from off the water,
As the mist from off the meadow.
With a smile of joy and gladness,
With a look of exultation,
As of one who in a vision
Sees what is to be, but is not,
Stood and waited Hiawatha.
Toward the sun his hands were lifted,
Both the palms spread out toward it,
And between the parted fingers
Fell the sunshine on his features,
Flecked with light his naked shoulders,
As it falls and flecks an oak-tree
Through the rifted leaves and branches.
O'er the water floating, flying,
Something in the hazy distance,
Something in the mists of morning,
Loomed and lifted from the water,
Now seemed floating, now seemed flying,
Coming nearer, nearer, nearer.
Was it Shingebis the diver?
Or the pelican, the Shada?
Or the heron, the Shuh-shuh-gah?
Or the white goose, Waw-be-wana,
With the water dripping, flashing,
From its glossy neck and feathers?
It was neither goose nor diver,
Neither pelican nor heron,
O'er the water floating, flying,
Through the shining mist of morning,
But a birch canoe with paddles,
Rising, sinking on the water,
ripping, flashing in the sunshine;
And within it came a people
The Son of the Evening Star
Can it be the sun descending
O'er the level plain of water?
Or the Red Swan floating, flying,
Wounded by the magic arrow,
Staining all the waves with crimson,
With the crimson of its life-blood,
Filling all the air with splendor,
Filling all the air with plumage?
Yes; it is the sun descending,
Sinking down into the water;
All the sky is stained with purple,
All the water flushed with crimson!
No; it is the Red Swan floating,
Diving down beneath the water;
To the sky its wings are lifted,
With its blood the waves are reddened!
Over it the Star of Evening
Melts and trembles through the purple,
Hangs suspended in the twilight,
