'Elia Kazan' (qv), ethnic Greek but Turkish by birth, tells the story of the struggles of his uncle - in this account named Stavros Topouzoglou - in emigrating to America. In the 1890's, the young, kind-hearted but naive Stavros lived in Anatolia, where the Greek and Armenian minorities were repressed by the majority Turks, this repression which often led to violence. Even Stavros being friends with an Armenian was frowned upon. As such, Stavros dreamed of a better life - specifically in America - where, as a result, he could make his parents proud by his grand accomplishments. Instead, his parents, with most of their money, sent Stavros to Constantinople to help fund the carpet shop owned by his first cousin once removed. What Stavros encountered on his journey, made on foot with a small donkey, made him question life in Anatolia even further. Once in Constantinople, his resolve to earn the 110 Turkish pound third class fare to the United States became stronger than ever. But try after try, his efforts were thwarted. But as he seemed close to achieving his dream, it seemed certain that it would snatched away from him. But an earlier good deed may have helped him ultimately achieve his goal of reaching the United States and a better life.

Bob Adams, ace newsreel cameraman, is told by his boss, "Get the picture---we can't screen alibis." He heads for Samari, a desert hot-bed of tribal unrest in Africa, to do just that, which includes getting footage of El Kadar, bandit and rebel leader. He gets his pictures but only after a romance with the Colonel's daughter Pamela, saving his wimpy, hacked-off brother Don from being a dupe of the gun-runners, and run-ins with spies and throat-cutting tribesman. For a finale, he saves the British Army.

Geschwister und Freunde, die ihr den Hintergrund der ganzen Hetzkampagne nicht kennt, solltet diesen Beitrag anschauen, damit ihr hören könnt, welch ein ''Hassprediger'' Olaf Latzel in Wirklichkeit ist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8ymuEeX5gc ,,Als Pastor der Bremischen Evangelischen Kirche hatte der 47-jährige Latzel vor gut zwei Wochen in einer Kanzelrede das islamische Zuckerfest als "Blödsinn" und Buddha als "dicken, fetten Herrn" bezeichnet. Zudem sprach er vom katholischen "Reliquiendreck". 1. Wenn Muslime Christen verfluchen, weil sie Weihnachten und Ostern feiern, ist dies kein Problem. Spricht sich einer gegen den Islam aus, wird er diffamiert und als Hassprediger dargestellt. Die Absicht die Bruder Olaf Latzel verfolgt, ist die, dass es unmöglich ist mit Muslime Feste zu feiern die im Widerspruch zur Bibel stehen. Würden gläubige Muslime mit uns auf Auferstehung des Herrn Jesus feiern, wobei der Koran dies laut Al Nisa 157 leugnet? Ich denke nicht! Heute strebt man eine Einheitsreligion an, die undenkbar ist für gläubige Christen bzw. auch Muslime, und das ist der Gedanke den Bruder Olaf Latzel verfolgt. 2. Dass die Buddha-Statue nicht magersüchtig ist, sollte auch bekannt sein. 3. Das die Kirche von Götzen und Götzendienst geprägt ist und dass dies ein Greul vor Gott ist, sollte jedem Bibelkenner bekannt sein. Das ist die darauffolgende Reaktion der Evangelischen Kirche: ''Die Evangelische Kirche in Bremen hat sich für eine Predigt entschuldigt, in der andere Religionen als nicht gleichwertig mit dem Christentum dargestellt worden waren. Der betroffene Pfarrer, Olaf Latzel, steht weiter zu seinen Worten.'' Satanismus ist übrigens auch eine Religion, wieso sagen sie nicht auch Satan wäre wie Jesus? Sie sind ja der Meinung, alle Religionen seien gleich?! Wenn das so ist, wofür kam Jesus dann und starb für die Sünden der Menschen? „Wir distanzieren uns entschieden von Fundamentalismus jeder Art - und von allen Versuchen, Fremdenfeindlichkeit, Islamophobie, Antisemitismus oder rassistisches Gedankengut mit vorgeblich biblischem Glauben zu bemänteln“, schrieben die Pastoren. Dass ihr kein Fundament habt, habt ihr gezeigt. Das zeigt sich darin, dass Pastoren/PASTORINNEN sich gegen ihn geäußert haben. Wir Christen haben ein Fundament, das ist allein die Bibel, das Wort Gottes. In aller Öffentlichkeit distanziert man sich also von ihm, was für ein schlechtes Bild für die Außenwelt. Ist das der Zusammenhalt, den Jesus uns lehrte? Wäre Paulus so mit seinem Bruder Petrus umgegangen? Ach, stimmt.. bei euch ist es die Petra und die Paulina die das Wort Gottes predigt und lehrt. 1. Timotheus 2,12 Ich erlaube aber einer Frau nicht zu lehren. Liebe Geschwister, ich gebe euch diese Bibelverse, die ich nicht weiter kommentieren werde, wer Ohren hat der höre, wer Augen hat der soll sehen. 2.Timotheus 4, 3 Denn es wird eine Zeit kommen, da werden sie die gesunde Lehre nicht ertragen, sondern sich selbst nach ihren eigenen Lüsten Lehrer beschaffen, weil sie empfindliche Ohren haben; 4 und sie werden ihre Ohren von der Wahrheit abwenden und sich den Legenden zuwenden. 1.Johannesbrief 2 ,19 Sie sind von uns ausgegangen, aber sie waren nicht von uns; denn wenn sie von uns gewesen wären, so wären sie bei uns geblieben. Hasil perkahwinannya dengan Datin Tuan Sabariah Tuan Ishak, allahyarham dikurniakan 10 orang cahaya mata, 5 lelaki dan 5 perempuan. Allahyarham Tuan Guru Dato' Nik Abdul Aziz mendapat pendidikan awal bersama ratusan pelajar Islam dari seluruh Asia Tenggara di institut pengajian pondok kendalian allahyarham bapanya Haji Nik Mat Raja Banjar, di Kampung Kedai Lalat. Sebelum penjajahan Jepun, sewaktu usia 9 tahun, Nik Abdul Aziz dihantar berguru dengan Tuan Guru Haji Abas Mohamad di pondok Madrasah Ittifaqiyah, Jertih, Besut, Terengganu. Allahyarham menyambung pelajaran ke Universiti Darul Ulum di Deoban, India, mendalami ilmu Fekah, Usul Fekah, Tafsir al-Qur'an, Hadis dan lain-lain, sebelum ke Pakistan pada 1957 dalam bidang Tafsir.
