Mustafa Wahbi Al-Tal, better known as Arar (born May 25, 1897 - died 1949), was a Jordanian nationalist, poet, reformist, lawyer, teacher, judge, political agitator, philosopher and a major influencer in the Jordanian national and anti colonial movements. Arar was a pioneer of Jordanian patriotism and a spokesman for the nation's ideals and aspirations. He was known for his nationalist and revolutionary oeuvre and his activism in accordance to it. Rebellious patriotism in Arar's poetry is inextricably tied to his never-ending Don Juanism. As a lover, obsessed by the nostalgia for places that had once quenched his thirst for love, Arar created a quite new type of metaphors and terms of reference to the beloved and to her place in the poet's dream-world. Place-related identity terms referring to the poet's beloved or her close surroundings. And that helped establish a unique Jordanian literary tradition in the Arabic language. His use of dialect, idiom, proverb and other oral formulae helped delineate Jordanian Arabic as a vehicle for literary expression.

Hey,
ich hab`s doch gesagt, ich will nicht ohne Dich sein, will nicht
ohne
dich sein, nicht ohne dich....ich will doch nur bei dir sein,
bitte lass mich
nicht im stich! du bist alles, was ich will, ich liebe dich, liebe
dich,liebe
schon sehen,sehen,sehen...
Wisdom of the elders leading children to the grave
Wicked nights of sorrow have unleashed the final plague
Oh mighty gods, guardians of time
Extermination tempting mankind
Feel no sadness, feel no pain
Take these shackles from my brain
Defenders of creation
Defenders of creation
Defenders of creation
Defenders of creation
Salvation for the worthy
No one left to save
Foolish mortals plead for mercy
By Satan's call enslaved
The four winds blow, defiance of the end
The time has come the dream to defend
Anti-matter, worlds colliding, in the demon's rage
Cheater, cheater where'd you meet her
Down at Ernie's Bar?
Did she smile your way, twirl her hair and say how cute your dimples are?
Did she use that line "Your place or mine?" while you danced with her real slow?
Tell me cheater, cheater where'd you mee that no good, white trash ho?
Liar, liar did you buy her whiskey all night long?
Did you hide your ring in the pocket of your jeans or did you just keep it on?
When the deed was done and you had your fun did you think I wouldn't know?
Tell me cheater, cheater where'd you meet that no good, white trash ho?
Now I'm not one to judge someone that I ain't never met
But to lay your hands on a married man is bout as low as a gal can get
Hey I wish her well as she rots in hell and you can tell her I said so
Cheater, cheater where'd you meet that no good, white trash ho?
Loser, loser hope you love her cuz your stuck with her now
Take your sorry butt, load up all your stuff, and get the hell out of my house
But I just wish you'd tell me this one thing before you go
Cheater, cheater where'd you meet that no good, white trash ho?
Now I'm not one to judge someone that I ain't never met
But to lay your hands on a married man is bout as low as a gal can get
Hey I wish her well as she rots in hell and you can tell her I said so
Cheater, cheater where'd you meet that no good, white trash ho?
Yeah I just wish you'd tell me this one thing before you go
