Conor Maynard (born 21 November 1992) is a British singer from Brighton who is currently signed to EMI subsidiary, Parlophone. Maynard rose to success in 2012 when he was nominated for, and subsequently won, MTV's Brand New for 2012 award. His debut single, "Can't Say No", was released in the United Kingdom on 16 April 2012.
On May 20, 2006, Maynard signed up to online video site YouTube and uploaded his very first cover track "Breathe" by British musician Lee Carr. on December 1, 2008. Throughout 2009-present, Maynard uploaded cover versions of songs with rapper and close friend, Anthony "Anth" Melo who resides in Virginia. Together they have covered a variety of popular artists, including: Chris Brown ("Crawl"), Taio Cruz ("Dynamite"), Rihanna ("Only Girl"). Maynard was brought to label attention when American singer/songwriter Ne-Yo watched a cover version of his track "Beautiful Monster" - who contacted the musician soon afterwards.
In November 2011, Maynard received a nomination for MTV's Brand New for 2012 award, competing alongside Delilah, Michael Kiwanuka, Lana Del Rey and Lianne La Havas. It was announced on January 31, 2012 that Maynard had been crowned winner of the award, having received approximately 48% of the public vote. February 2012 saw the reveal that Maynard had been signed to label EMI subsidiary, Parlophone in late 2011 and that work would begin in the coming months on his debut studio album, Contrast. Maynard released the music video for his debut single "Can't Say No" on March 1, 2012, which by April 2012 had already surpassed three million views. The single was met with positive reviews, with Lewis Corner (of Digital Spy) describing it as "playful, fun and immediately leaves you wanting another go", whilst others compared Maynard to Canadian singer Justin Bieber; both vocally and career-wise. However Conor disputes this claim, saying "I'm not like Justin Bieber", but recognises that they both gained popularity from YouTube.
Bonnie Tyler (born Gaynor Hopkins on 8 June 1951) is a Welsh singer. She is most notable for having several hits in the 1970s and 80s, including "Lost in France", "It's a Heartache", "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Holding Out For A Hero" as well as her European 2004 hit "Si demain... (Turn Around)".
With a distinctively husky voice due to damaged vocal cords, Tyler is a three-time Grammy Award nominee and three-time Brit Award nominee, and three-time Goldene Europa award winner. Tyler was also the first Welsh female artist to reach the top of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 music charts.
Tyler was born in Skewen, Neath, Wales to a family that included three sisters and two brothers. Her father, Glyn Hopkins, worked in a coal mine and her mother, Elsie Hopkins, (an opera lover) shared her love for music with her children, and was known to have been part of the local church choir. Tyler grew up listening to Motown music and female artists like Janis Joplin and Tina Turner. She concluded her education in the sixties and began working in the local grocery shop, then as a supermarket cashier.

In 2009, his second album R.O.O.T.S. was released; its most successful single "Right Round" was at the top of the Hot 100 for six weeks. Since then, he has released his third studio album titled Only One Flo (Part 1), which will see a sequel titled Wild Ones.
3-2-1 Contact is an American science educational television show that aired on PBS from 1980 to 1988, and an adjoining children's magazine. The show, a production of the Children's Television Workshop, teaches scientific principles and their applications. Dr. Edward G. Atkins, who was responsible for much of the scientific content of the show, felt that the TV program wouldn't replace a classroom but would open the viewers to ask questions about the scientific purpose of things.
3-2-1 Contact was the brainchild of Samuel Y. Gibbon, Jr., who had been the executive producer of The Electric Company for CTW from 1971 to 1977. (Gibbon actually left CTW before Contact's production began, though he was still credited as "Senior Consultant.")
The first season of 65 programs began airing January 14, 1980 on select PBS member stations; it featured a cast of three college students who discussed science in an on-campus room known as the Workshop. The first season came to an end on April 11, 1980, but funds for more episodes were not sufficient until 1982.
Turnaround, turnaround,
Turnaround and you're a young girl going out of the door!
Where are you goin' my little one, little one,
Where are you goin' my baby, my own?
Turnaround and you're two, turnaround and you're four,
Turnaround and you're a young girl going out of the door!
Turnaround, ( turnaround! )
Turnaround and you're a young girl . . .
Going out of the door!
Where are you going my little one, little one,
Little dirndls and petticoats, where have you gone?
Turnaround and you're tiny, turnaround and you're grown,
Turnaround and you're a young wife with babes of your own!
Turnaround, ( turnaround! )
Turnaround and you're a young wife . . .
With babes of your own!
With babes of your own . . . ( turnaround! )
Turnaround
Some people are lucky baby
I guess I am too
Love found me
And I found you
Well every time I think it can’t get better
You do something new
And I’m renewed
And when it gets cold and
I think it’s over
Look what you go and do
Every time I turnaround
You give me a reason
For feelin’ the way that I do
Every time I turnaround
You give me a reason
To put my faith in you
Even when you let me down
I forgive you
Coz I know that you’re feelin’ it too
Any time I turnaround
You make me believe in
The things that I already knew
You wrap me up in kisses baby
Head to toe
Let the whole world stare
I don’t care
You make me breakfast in bed
Just to show me
No one wants me more
I’m secure
And when it gets cold and
I think it’s over
Look what you go and do
Every time I turnaround
You give me a reason
For feelin’ the way that I do
Every time I turnaround
You give me a reason
To put my faith in you
Even when you let me down
I forgive you
Coz I know that you’re feelin’ it too
Any time I turnaround
You make me believe in
The things that I already knew
Turnaround
Turnaround
Turnaround
Turnaround
Turnaround
Turnaround
You know and I know
That’s it’s hard to let go
So why not hold on
Hold on to us
You know and I know
That’s it’s hard to let go
So why not hold on
Hold on to us
You know and I know
That’s it’s hard to let go
So why not hold on
Every time I turnaround
You give me a reason
For feelin’ the way that I do
Every time I turnaround
You give me a reason
To put my faith in you
Even when you let me down
I forgive you
Coz I know that you’re feelin’ it too
Any time I turnaround
Take a step outside yourself
And turn around
Take a look at who you are
It's pretty scary
So silly
Revolting
You're not much
You can't do anything
Take a step outside the city
And turn around
Take a look at what you are
It is revolting
You're really nowhere
So wasteful
So foolish
Poppycock
Who said don't look back?
Don't believe 'em
Go for that crazy sounding restaurant
'Couse they're gonna try and get behind you
Don't you let them do it
You know what I'm talking about?
You hear me talking?
You hear me talking?
It's pretty scary it's so revolting
Take a step outside the country
And turn around
Take a look at what you are
It is amazing
Take a good look
You're no big deal
You're so petty
It's lots
Take a step outside the planet
Turn around and around
Take a look at where you are
I lie awake in the dark of the night
lost without you
why didn't I try to put up a fight
for your love
my very soul was dyin'
why wasn't I cryin'
( CHORUS )
turn around, turn around
turn around don't walk away
turn around, turn around
don't you leave me torn apart this way
your love means everything to me
turn around baby
turn around, turn around
I thank the heavens for sendung you down
here to love me
my lonely world would stop turning around
with you gone
please don't go
why did I leave unspoken
the words that left me broken
( CHORUS )
turn around, turn around
turn around don't walk away
turn around, turn around
don't you leave me torn apart this way
your love means everything to me
turn around baby
now the nights don't end
and the rain sets in
and I can't pretend
I'll be alright again
baby, no one in my arms
will ever feel the way you do
and you might be here for me to hold you
if I'd only told you....
I'm gonna find you
and this time you wont get away
'cause baby i know exactly
what I'm gonna say
( CHORUS )
turn around, turn around
turn around don't walk away
turn around, turn around
don't you leave me torn apart this way
your love means everything to me
turn around baby
Jenny's sixteen, she was feeling
down; living on the edge in a dead
end town; everybody’s talking,
saying she', gonna fall. Daddy left
home when Jenn was five;
Mamma's broke down, is she dead
or alive. When it all adds up,
she's got nothing at all
You gotta Turnaround, you know
Love won't lot you down. I wanna
tell you, now, I know a Love that
won't let you down
Now she's eighteen, gonna leave it
behind; heading for the city, got
the lights in her eyes; gonna make
it happen. She’s playin’ to win,
livining high wire wuith the happening
crowd. For a while she was happy,
now it's bringin' her down No
matter where you, go, you know
it's all the same.
CHORUS:
You gotta Turnaround, you know
Love won't let you down. I wanna
tell you now, I know a Love that
won't let you down. You gotta
Turnaround, you know Love won't
let you down. I wanna tell you,
now, you gotta Turnaround,
Turnaround
You lie awake and you remember
the Love you felt so long ago; the
Voice that spoke to you when you,
were younger. The Love of God
won't let you go, I want you to know
CHORUS
You got the gold from selling our souls
Yeah, was that your goal?
Well that's not very nice
We got a clue
Yeah we're smarter than you
Now you stand accused of messing up your life
Everybody sing and dance and stand up
Everybody clap your hands
All my cronies got my back, back at ya
All the phonies turnaround
You lounged around while the jewel's in your crown
Let's just sleep on the ground
Eating scraps from your plate
There's no disguise from dollar signs in your eyes
And the truth about lies is there as clear as day
(alright)
Everybody sing and dance and stand up
Everybody clap your hands
All my cronies got my back, back at ya
All the phonies turnaround
You take the crayon out of our hands when the ink
hadn't dried
You got instincts of a sixty four year old white guy
It's funny how the grass is greener on other side
You got a lot to lose not much to gain
Listen to what the people say
Everybody sing and dance and stand up
Everybody clap your hands
All my cronies got my back, back at ya
All the phonies turnaround
Everybody sing and dance and stand up
Everybody clap your hands
All my cronies got my back, back at ya
We've been fighting way too long now
I don't know if I want to give in or up
The never knowing of it's really starting to bug
One day it's sun then the next day's full of clouds
Well, you never know what you want to do
So this is me telling you
You're so up, down, turnaround
Up, down, turnaround
Every which way, make up your mind
Up, down, turnaround
Up, down, turnaround
Movin' to the left, movin' to the right
Come on, come on you're making me crazy
We've been trying hard not to talk of it
But everywhere we go it rears its ugly head
Sometimes a broken heart is the price that you've gotta pay
For a love that can sometimes taste so sweet
Well, you never know what you want to do
So this is me telling you
You're so up, down, turnaround
Up, down, turnaround
Every which way, make up your mind
Up, down, turnaround
Up, down, turnaround
Movin' to the left, movin' to the right
Come on, come on you're making me crazy
You're not happy until I'm unhappy
Why?
Well, you never know what you want to do
So this is me telling you
You're so up, down, turnaround
Up, down, turnaround
Every which way, make up your mind
Up, down, turnaround
Up, down, turnaround
Movin' to the left, movin' to the right
Come on, come on you're making me crazy
Come on, come on you're driving me crazy
Turnaround, my love blind lady
Turnaround, don't walk so fast
Now and then, we've all gone crazy
And traded love for a thrill that couldn't last
Turnaround and feel the good times
See the man who brought you comfort through your pain
Close your eyes, and see that first night
Taste the kiss that swept your heart away
Though he vows to you the Earth and stars
Broken promises won't get you far
Turnaround, turn, turnaround
We have all been fools to circumstance
While our love still has a fighting chance
Turnaround, turn, turnaround
Turnaround, it's far from over
Turnaround and just believe
You can cry here on my shoulder
A heart can heal when you wear it on your sleeve
He's rehearsed those lies 'til they sound true
To a thousand others just like you
Turnaround, turn, turnaround
We can learn from this and come back strong
Got to rescue your love before it's gone
Turnaround, turn, turnaround
See the one who loves you
I place no one above you
It's not too late to turn, turnaround
(Solo)
Turnaround, I'm still your baby
(Turnaround, turnaround)
Turnaround, I was such a fool
(Baby, just turnaround)
I can see between a teardrop
(You gotta just turnaround)
Turnaround, he's just not you
(This thrill can't last)
Turnaround, he never loved me
(You gotta turnaround)
Turnaround, it's you I need
(You gotta believe)
Now I know I was born to love you
(We've still got a fighting chance)
Turnaround, I still believe
Turn around – good luck good bye you say
Get out of here - we got to get away
Are you sure – it's your blood on your shirt
I start to assume – that somebody's gotten hurt
You turn around – good luck good bye you say
Turn around – she was no friend you say
Turn around – no need to kill her anyway
Another tragedy so
Don't go - where I can't follow you
Don't you go - where I can't follow you
Doing your boy – was not gentle
And killing the girl – was accidental
Who is to blame – the heartbreaker
The acrobat or – the maker
Turn around – good luck good bye you say
Turn around – I'll be away you say
Turning around – didn't see your handcuffs
Please – don't go away I say - so
Don't go - where I can't follow you
Don't you go - where I can't follow you
Stay here - don't you go
I won't – and you should know
You turn around – before you go away
Turn around – on all saints day
Turn around – before you go and you
Say – I don't regret a thing so
Then – you go - where I can't follow you
Then you go - where I can't follow you
Don't go - where I can't follow you
Don't you go - cause I can't follow you
God bless her lonely soul
She said you'll never ever see
You never let go
Well these days are changing
And everyone knows
Everyone knows what you got to loose
You gotta live a dangerous life
I love it when you're mad
Cos you give me your time
These are the days when you have to try
These are the days
(yeah yeah yeah yeah)
Always say that you don't understand
(yeah yeah yeah yeah)
Maybe it's time to turn around
(yeah yeah yeah yeah)
Me and you we got a master plan
(yeah yeah yeah yeah)
Maybe its time to turn around
I garentee you that this isn't a dream
Cos the times you're awake
You can change what you see
These are the days when you gotta believe
In something that's more than a dream
You gotta live a dangerous life
I love it when you're mad
Cos you give me your time
These are the days when you have to try
These are the days
(yeah yeah yeah yeah)
Always say that you don't understand
(yeah yeah yeah yeah)
Maybe it's time to turn around
(yeah yeah yeah yeah)
Me and you we got a master plan
(yeah yeah yeah yeah)
Maybe its time to turn around
Bits and pieces you offered
Of your life; I didn't think they meant a lot,
Or said much for you.
And all the chances to follow
Didn't make a lot of sense when stacked against
The choices you made.
For yours was the open road,
The bitter song, the heavy load
That I couldn't share
Though the offer was there
Every time you turned around.
Now, it's not like you made out
To hang around, although you know I made some sounds
To show that I cared.
And when it looked like you heard the call
I didn't say a lot, although I could've said
Much more, had I dared.
But yours was the open road,
The bitter song, the heavy load
That I couldn't share
Though the offer was there
Every time you turned around.
And if I had followed
A little ways, because we're friends you would have made me
Welcome out there.
But we both know it's just as well,
'Cause some can go, but some are meant to stay behind,
And it's always that way.
And yours is the open road,
The bitter song, the heavy load
That I'll never share,
Though the offer's still there
Every time you turn around.
And yours is the open road,
The bitter song, the heavy load
That I'll never share,
Though the offer's still there
Growing up with you was torture
watching all the things you did
now it seems our life is over
even though were still just kids
You saw the look on my face
You saw the way I have changed
Now Im telling you straight
Turnaround, don't follow the others
Turnaround you know were still brothers
Turnaround and walk away from this life of pain
So many times I've seen what you do
And all alone it's hard to cope
So many time I barely knew you
But now I know that there's still hope
You saw the look on my face
You saw the way I have changed
Now Im telling you straight
Turnaround, don't follow the others
Turnaround you know were still brothers
Turnaround and walk away from this life of pain
Walk away, Turnaround and Run
Dont listen to anyone
Walk away, Turnaround
Turnaround, don't follow the others
Turnaround you know were still brothers
Turnaround and walk away from this life of pain
I know that this is only the begining
Don't you remember you and I are winning
I know that this is only the begining
when you turn it up they're gonna turn you downand when
you open up they're gonna shut you down
and as you're climbin' up they're gonna knock you down
and when you offer up they're gonna put you out -
you turn around -
then you're gonna face yourself
then you're gonna hear this sound
then you're gonna fuckin' feel this sound
you turn around
you turn around.
if you turn away know you're gonna be sorry
and then you're gonna cry how you should've lived your
life
and then you're gonna say 'why did i live that way'
if you're holdin' on know you're gonna see someday -
you turnaround -
then you're gonna face yourself
then you're gonna hear this sound
then you're gonna fuckin' feel this sound
you turn around
