We recommend Winamp for our live and archived streams. We have found that this player works best with our streams, with minimal stalling and dropouts compared to other players. You can download the free version here: www.winamp.com

MAC:
We have found that the Mac iTunes player works well with our streams.  On the pulldown menu, 'Advanced', select 'Open Stream'. Copy and paste http://kpfa.org/streams/kpfa_64k.m3u into the window and click 'OK'. Select 'Play' in the iTunes window if the audio does not begin playing.

Linux/FreeBSD:
We recommend VLC or Amarok for Linux/Unix/BSD. Please let us know how other players work for you.

This stream is good for slow modems or if there are problems with our main 24K and 64Kbps streams. It's the same broadcast as KPFA's signal, except when pre-empted by Berkeley School Board meetings, Berkeley City Council meetings, and occasional webcasts.
